"I like snow snow is dry until it melts, as long as it isn't slushy and I am able to shake it out of my coat before it melts into water I will be fine" she said smiling. "Since when did you question my hatred of water? she said looking at him in mock suspicion.

Chuckling, Caleb's eyes went wide with innocence. "Well, I just figured that after all this time I would have gotten you to being used to water. I have failed you!" With a heavy sigh, he fell right onto his side into the stream, groaning with the agony of defeat.

"Ohh the poor baby" she said going over to him prodding him with her paw. She laid down next to him hitting the ground softly and sighing. It was a nice day and the sun warmed her pelt nicely. She was perfetly content with Caleb right there, though she wished she could stop the constant fluttering in her chest, it was amazing feeling but she knew she needed to keep it down, to preserve there friendship.

Caleb squawked at being poked before resuming his near death facade. "Woe is me." He complained, a paw hanging over his eyes. He pulled his paw back slightly to look at Genesis with one eye, moving his head so that it wasn't in the water.... and was closer to Genesis. He too was enjoying the nearness and trying to subdue it. He shouldn't be enjoying it this much, should he?
Eventually, he rolled the rest of the way out of the stream to dry off, stretching out his legs by pawing lightly at Gen's side. "Would you happen to be hungry or should we move on?"

Genesis closed her eyes just letting herself enjoy it, when Calebs paw hit her side she woke up from her day dream and got up. Stretching she said "Lets move on" before adding "We might not even make it at the pace were going" jokingly.

As the saying goes, timing is everything. No sooner had Genesis made her joke than Caleb had rolled onto his back to paw lazily at the air. He paused, looking up at her before he started laughing. "Indeed, we might not make it until tomorrow night." He rolled back onto his feet, shook his fur out, looked up at the sun, and set off in the direction they had been headed. "Hey, it'd be a good opportunity for a- uh- what's it called? When those humans bring their small houses around and eat sticky white balls at fires?"

"You mean camping?" ya she said smiling, "we may just have to" she said winking, she didn't know entirely how far they where from the movies but she was with Caleb so it didn't exactly matter, she could spend all day walking around with him and never be bored. Starting to walk with him she looked at the tree's and watched the birds sing as she moved. "It's pretty out"she commented.

"Yes! Camping." He nodded happily. Then he though to himself; 'Heh, she's pretty and smart. Er-! Pretty smart! She's pretty smart!' Blushing under his fur at his own thoughts, he looked back at Gen with a warry smile. "It is very nice out." 'It's pretty out? Is she reading my thoughts?' "Too back we don't have any of those yummy white things though. Have you ever gotten one?"

Genesis saw him pause and wondered 'what on earth could he be thinking?' she thought she saw a hint of a blush underneath his fur, but she wasn't quite sure. It was enough of a hint to tease him and maybe find out if there might be the slightest possibility in the world that Caleb could feel the same way about her that she feels about him. It would make her the happiest fox in the word. "So was that a little blush I saw?" she asked sweetly winking at him, she couldn't help but smile.

If he hadn't been standing still, Caleb would have tripped. She had seen it! That adorable wink made his chest swell with longing. "Me? Blush?" He asked, throwing in a manly laugh, though his nerves shown through. "Whatever for? Just because you remembered the camping word before I did." Despite his attempts, he felt his face warm even more. She had such a radiant smile.

Genesis was shocked by his reaction, she seemed to catch him off guard "Why are you so nervous?" she asked sitting down, she was really confused. Her childhood friend never acted like that before why was he now. She looked at him with soft eyes wishing to know what had him so nervous.

"Me? Nervous? What gave you that idea? I'm not nervous. I have no reason to be nervous. I'm feeling fine. Just-" Caleb clamped his mouth shut. Right. He wasn't nervous. He always rambled like an idiot. Shaking his head at his mental sarcasm, he too sat down, head hanging slightly. He didn't want their friendship to be awkward if he said anything, but how could he explain himself? He didn't want to lie to her.
He sighed, digging a paw bashfully at the ground. "You're pretty." He said reluctantly to the hole he was making, but it was directed at Genesis.

She looked at him skeptically, knowing it was something that was making him act weird. When she finallly heard it she said "Really?, you think so" looking at him happy that he said that. What he thought meant a lot to the female. "Well I think your very handsome she said looking down herself.

Caleb's ears first perked at the silence. She wasn't going to laugh at him? His blue eyes were bright when he looked up while Genesis looked down. She thought he was... handsome? "You do?" He asked in surprise. She didn't sound like she was teasing at all. Maybe he could admit a little more?
"Also, I really like being around you. You make me happy. You're always there for me, and I just wanna be there for you always."
That was more than just a little... Not many words, but the meaning behind them was huge. He was beginning to see what he truly felt.

"Yes, I really do" she said really serious which was rare for her. She listened intently as he admitted how he felt "r-really?" she said, those words relieved her fears and she went up to him and said "I think...." she paused for a moment before saying "I think I love you."
