He pulls a frying pan out from under the two burner propane stove, turned on a burner and started heating the pan. "I'm interested in all things occult and a lot of other things... do you want bacon on your burger?" He starts tearing the lettuce into bite size bits.

It's hard to say that I was wrong, it's hard to say I miss you.. Karissa giggled, "I would love bacon on my burger." then she walked over to Alaric, "Do you always eat alone? If you do, don't feel bad, I usually sit alone too. Not many people like me. I don't understand why though.." Since you've been gone, it's not the same..

He tossed the lettuce into a bowl and sliced bacon into small chunks, sliding it into the pan, he then washed his hands, cutting board and knife. "I usually eat alone... I like eating alone... but I am enjoying your company." He pulls out another bowl and spatula, flips the bacon and chops a pomegranate in two. He scoops the fruit of one half into the bowl with the lettuce.

It's hard to say that I was wrong, it's hard to say I miss you.. Karissa glanced around his room. She pulled out the two pictures she had drawn of him. She placed them on his dresser. "So that you don't have to miss me when I leave." she joked. Then she sat back down on his bed. "Your eyes have not changed color in a while." she stated. Since you've been gone, it's not the same..

"I didn't know they changed in the first place, until you pointed it out." He scoops the bacon out of the pan into the empty bowl and formed two patties with raised edges putting the bacon inside and closing them with more burger. He washed his hands again and pulled spinach out of the fridge, tossed some into the salad bowl and put it back into the fridge. "...thank you for the drawings... even though they make me look better than I do normally."

It's hard to say that I was wrong, it's hard to say I miss you.. Karissa giggled, "That is how you appear to me." she blushed. "I don't think it makes you look better. If anything it downplays how handsome you are." she tells him quietly, as she lays back on his bed. Then she said a bit louder, "Sorry if I upset you by pointing out that your eyes change. I think it is neat." Since you've been gone, it's not the same..

He pulls some burger buns from a cupboard along with some paper plates, "It's not upsetting, I just never knew that it happened, if anything, you piqued my curiosity about it, cheese?" He opens the buns and places a bit of lettuce on each of the top halves.

It's hard to say that I was wrong, it's hard to say I miss you.. Karissa nodded when he asked about cheese, then realized he was not looking at her, "Cheese is good." she told him. She inhaled the aroma of the burgers, they smelled very nice. She began to wonder about his eyes. Maybe they changed when he was what her doctors called, "sleeping". That could make sense. Although they could also change with his mood. She was not sure. "Do you think they change with your mood?" she inquired. Her voice made it clear that she was deep in thought. Since you've been gone, it's not the same..

He put some cheese on the patties, an waited for a minute before he put the patties on the lower half of the buns, "Could be, but I don't think I had much of a mood swing when I was talking to you earlier..." He pulls out a vinaigrette lightly drizzling the salad with it, and tossing it with two forks, he pulls out some ketchup and honey mustered. then pours the salad onto the plates, split equally. "It's pretty much ready... you should eat the salad first though, it will let the burger meat rest and keep the flavor in it when you bite it..." He turned and handed her the plate and fork, then sat next to her, his eye about half brown and gold.

It's hard to say that I was wrong, it's hard to say I miss you.. Karissa nodded, "It didn't seem like a mood swing. Although that seemed like a plausible explanation." She got a forkful of the salad and took a bite. It was the best salad Karissa had ever tasted. She quickly gobbled the rest of it up, then blushed when she realized she had just pigged out. "I apologize if that was gross to watch.. the salad was just so good!" she exclaimed. Since you've been gone, it's not the same..

"I'm sorry what?" his plate was empty. "It was a good idea... but it doesn't fit the situation..." He burped while covering his mouth, he blushed a deep red, "sucuse me." He said softly. he got up and tossed his plate, and put the dishes in his sink. then sat next to Karissa, cross legged on the bed.

It's hard to say that I was wrong, it's hard to say I miss you.. Karissa grinned, "I was saying sorry for pigging out. It seemed rude." Then she smiled, and laid back. "Your room is a very calm place. My room is always different. It can be annoying." She remembered how this morning she had to put her posters back up, and lay out her drawings. Someone had stashed them all in the closet, leaving the only color to be the blanket on the bed. Since you've been gone, it's not the same..

"Oh, well it seems I was more of a pig than you..." he rested his back against the wall, "I think my room is calming too, no clutter, but it can be a little boring..." He blushes and opens his mouth, then reconsiders and closes it, his eyes have gotten more brown.

It's hard to say that I was wrong, it's hard to say I miss you.. Karissa was looking at Alaric as he spoke, so she saw that he was starting to say something. Then he stopped. She frowned, "You can say what you were going to." She assured him. Since you've been gone, it's not the same..

"I... usually go through a kata after I eat, I was going to ask if... you wanted to... watch..." He blushes even deeper red, and is looking at his blanket, picking at the pattern.
