Hmm, I don't know offhand, as I actually play Veronaville the LEAST, but if you're looking at Veronaville from the Houses view (the one that lets you place new lots, if you wanna) you can click on one of the community lots and go in and look around, and actually ADD the clothes racks and a cashier yourself if there isn't one. Maybe that's another reason why I don't play Sims2 as obsessively as I used to Sims1 because it takes so dang long to load anything, like a town, or a family, or when you need to taxi your sim anywhere that it's almost not worth doing.

Another thing you can do is download that hacked computer that lets you shop online, and then you don't even need to leave your house! Where was that object again? mod2thesims or something?

Whee, I bought the game now whee I sooo want to open it and install it right away, but I know there's no point in that until I get my new computer xp

i was really pleased when i found the crystal ball version, as i have a witchy sim with a house full of cats, so this was ideal for her 3nodding

I love Sims 2! biggrin heart I'm on my 4th generation now, and I've already have one sim go insane and I've had an alien abduction that resulted in a pretty green baby lol I was not aware that it's only the male sims that can have alien babies, so it was quite a suprise when he suddenly discovered he was pregnant lol I haven't had any luck getting the kids into private schools, the headmaster usually turns at the door because my family isn't good enough rolleyes

Wow! You've done a lot! None of my families are even grandparents yet because I keep creating new families before I play one very long.

I've gotten a boy into private school, but on my first attempt it didn't work because I didn't understand how to give a tour. I can't remember which option it's under, but once you start the tour, in each room you're in (if you think it's nice enough) you have to click on the headmaster and choose 'Show Room' for him to rate it. (I think it might be under 'entertain'?) The first time I did it, I just led him around the house and didn't understand why he thought the house was so poor. You can show him the yard too, and fenced off gardens with a gate count as a room. You only have to show him a few though, so he didn't get to see my whole house. Oh, and cook him lobster thermador and make sure it doesn't get burned! Then call him to dinner when it's ready and he'll go eat.

My favorite download site is welldressedsim.com. They have some awesome furniture sets for both Sims 1 & 2, and I really like the clothing and hairstyles too whee Some of the items are only dowloadable if you're a platinum member though, which you have to pay for. I've been using the site for years, and I've never had a crash because of bad files from that site (unlike most other sites I've tried), so I don't really mind that it's not completely free.

Oh, and I was wondering about alien babies... Can you only get one from being abducted, or can alien sims have alien babies? And would both parents have to be aliens? My alien sim just had her first baby, and it's completely human. Kinda disappointing, I really wanted to have at least one alien family in the game razz

i did have a hacked wishing well of furtune, which i downloaded from Modthesims2.
this got my female sim pregnant with alien twins, but that is just one of the things that are likely to happen from using the well.
this page has lots of download sites listed, some are rubbish, and some are dead links, but there is still plenty of good stuff to choose from 3nodding
