Yeah. It was. "Better then sleeping." She sighed softly, recalling just how far of a walk it was to get to magnus'. Now they had to walk BACK. With this awkward conversation neither of them knew how to go about. "You don't have to try so hard Criofan...I know you feel differently." Maybe he could relax now? There wasn't any reason for him to try to cushion her feelings. The worst part was already over.

"Who said I felt differently?" That was an odd comment, and Criofan had to wonder where in hell that came from. So, he started thinking aloud, almost trying to rationalize the words that came out of his mouth to himself as well as to Erylia, to some extent. "Ah don't really know what I feel. Ah'm confused, right? Yeah, Ah'm confused. That doesn't sound right. Ah'm an eejit." He furrowed his brows in frustration, not knowing where else to go with that train of thought.
After a few moments where he had even stopped walking while he tried to recapture where he might have been going with that thought other than 'You're an eejit, Criofan!,' he gave up and shrugged hopelessly. "Magnus would get a kick out of this." He offered, attempting to lighten the mood just a little. "That's why he said that. He loves causing chaos. Ah wouldn't be surprised if he were following us while snacking on popcorn."

Her head snapped so fast around it caused her hair to flick around her shoulder. Did he or did he not feel differently then? WHY did he insist on doing this to her?! She stopped with him, looking at the male. Not in any particular way, just, looked at him. "Yeah..." She laughed softly. "He would get his jollies up watching this wouldn't he, after what we did. You were quite the actor."

"Mm, thanks, but Ah couldn't hold it. Ya were better," replied Criofan, with a laugh. She definitely was better. As much as Criofan could pretend to be an attractive female, Erylia was an attractive female, and there was definitely a difference even when Criofan had been all dolled up. (Heck, he was still dolled up.) "Ah mean, ya left me alone with him for five minutes and Ah broke character and started runnin'."
And then Magnus stated what would shortly after make them all awkward. Damn that Magnus, he really knew how to get revenge better than Criofan thought. He should stop doubting that intoxication faerie before he came up with anything worse... "Ya, no, ya were stunning." It was hard to tell if he was complimenting her act or if he was complimenting her, but in context it would be her act... right? Criofan had to convince himself of that.

Thank the goddess. She could blame it all on magnus. The female laughed lightly along with Criofan, taking the oppertunity to get as far away as her earlier outburst as possible. "You must have done it at the perfect time though. What a spectacular reaction from him! Did he try going up your skirt or something?" She bobbed her head slightly towards the headquarters to indicate walking again before starting towards the building once more. "I could just imagine him getting a handful of something he didn't expect."

Criofan nodded in agreement with her idea of walking forward, starting forward himself so he could keep up the pace. "Nah, he tried kissing me, which was actually even better." The faerie snickered to himself, a smirk growing on his face. Yeah, if they focused on Magnus and put all the blame on him, maybe they could forget that had ever happened. "Especially since Ah got to laugh right in his face."
Everything was better now. It was Magnus' fault, nothing had happened, and they could put it behind them. Criofan determined that the guy probably had some chaos magic or something, that made Erylia start crying and running into trees, even though Magnus actually didn't have any sort of abilities despite being an adult. The leprechaun was okay with pretending, though. "An' now Magnus can be happy 'cause he caused chaos. It's all good." No it wasn't. Who was he kidding? ...Oh right, himself.

"His expression must have been priceless." She snickered at the thought of Magnus' lips puckering out to kiss Criofan the moment before he realized what was going on. Just like that, the awkwardness faded. They were just two good friends, going to get lunch, recalling an excellently executed trick. "Everything cleaned up nicely." But it didn't, did it? She had a problem now...with no clue as to how to solve it.

"Yeah, everything cleaned up perfectly." No, not really. But he could kid himself into thinking there weren't any problems, albeit temporarily. Maybe they could deal with this situation later. For now, they wanted to make some peanut better and jelly sandwiches, an incredibly ordinary meal for two ordinary friends. Yup.
Criofan glanced over at her, suddenly noticing that not only her dress was gone, but the necklace was gone, too. The necklace from all those years ago was gone. The leprechaun wasn't sure what to think. Maybe he should go back and get it so he could put it in his own stash. The leprechaun didn't exactly realize he was staring at where the necklace used to be while he was contemplating running back so he could locate the necklace.

She couldn't care less about the dress she just left in the forest. But try as she might, a piece of her mind was always focused on the absence of her necklace. She skipped a head a little bit when they came close to the headquarters, opening the door so she could slip in first and not to the awkward shuffle as to the order of entering. "Mmm...Airconditioning..."

The fact that she went off ahead of him helped him get his eyes off of where the necklace used to be. Despite the fact that it was definitely a valuable shiny, he left it alone, for the moment, and headed inside after Erylia. Air conditioning? But it wasn't really all that warm outside, either... "Why do they have that on? It's February." The leprechaun shivered when he entered, before shutting the door behind him.
"Alright, kitchen." Without wasting any time, Criofan headed off to the nearest kitchen in the Headquarters, hoping to find some peanut butter and jelly so they could quickly make themselves some sandwiches and eat. Sandwiches were good distractions that would help him fool himself longer.

"Malloren and yuki complained. With their fur coats still partially on, they were dying of heat." You wanted to see creepy? Try pae with hairball problems. The female sashayed after criofain, startying to feel like her old self. Afterall, she had to act like it had all been under Magnus' influence. She missed her necklace.

"Bah, they should've just asked for an air conditioner for their rooms, then. This place is huge." At least their small talk was starting to turn into something longer than a few awkward words about peanut butter and jelly now. They were actually making small talk conversations! This was good, this was good. Perhaps they really could forget anything had happened, and perhaps Criofan could bury it for good.
Criofan decided, "At least it'll be warmer in the kitchen. It's always warm in kitchens." After all, anything that cooked food tended to radiate heat. Therefore, they could stay in the kitchen and not be more freezing than necessary in February. Of course, at the same time, Criofan felt a tad warmer than usually thanks to the dress he was wearing.
(( Whenever you get back, let's wrap this up and start another one. I don't want anything too major happening in the past that might mess with Criofan's entire timeline as established already. xD ))
