"We can make a decision on it sometime tomorrow. I'll send word for some of the others to come to a meeting here and we'll decide that way." Firomis stood back up. "You can find a room here and sleep for the night if you'd like, or you can head wherever you want to."

"I think I will stay", she said. SHe really enjoyed his company, and either way she had nowhere else to go. "What meeting?"

"Currently there wasn't one scheduled, but the others who are fighting with me to go after Toren would be here on a moment's notice if I called a meeting." Firomis began to slowly walk towards the mansion. "I'll show you where the rooms are at if you'll follow me."

Kristin got up and followed Firomis inside the mansion. "Are you sure there is no problem with my staying here?", she asked still thinking about the meeting.

"I don't have anyone that I have to answer to, so yes I'm certain there is no problem." Firomis led her up the stairs to the second floor and down a hallway with a set of rooms. "You can pick any room you wish to stay in. The rooms in this section of the house aren't being used aside from the one behind me, which is my room. Of course, if you feel the need to stay by my side I won't stop you." he bowed slightly and leaned against the wall.

Kristin blinked a few times, clearly surprised. "I think I will be fine by myself", she said and opened the door next to Firomis room. Her cheeks were reddish again. Before going in she turned at him. "I dont remember thanking you for anything. So, thank you, for the room, the food, the help and the saving", she said getting a little bit closer to him than normal.

"I usually lock my door at night, but every two rooms are linked together, so yours would be linked to mine if you need to contact me. Oh and, one last thing. That storm earlier, were you the one who made it blow away?" he looked at her closely.

"Yes, but why would you care?", she said and a wicked smile appeared in her face and she got even closer. Connected rooms, huh, she thought, but quickly erased the thought. Only friends. Not mixing anything else this time.
((Sorry. I am in a romantic mood..... sweatdrop ))

Firomis took a finger and touched her cheek, slowly moving it down under her chin and putting his thumb on the front of her chin. "Because, that was a natural storm, which means the elementals will be angry. It's bad to blow away natural storms, and any time that someone does, the elementals create a second storm with several times the power of the previous one. Even someone like Kaneas, the legendary bounty hunter, can't prevent a storm like that or blow it away. I assume tonight will be very intriguing." he let his hand fall back down to his side and then entered his room.
( Wasn't trying to spark any romance per se, I'm just playing the character to his personality smile )

She just stood there for a few moments, trying to get her mind to work again. Which she didnt. Withiout thinking she followed him inside his room. "I didnt know that", she said, trying to apologise. "i didnt mean any harm. I just hate rain"

"I thought that was the case. This house is built pretty thick, so the rain shouldn't be too loud for us. I actually like the rain, it reminds me that no matter how dark and sad things become, they will always let up and things will become clear again." he walked over to the balcony and cracked open the doors leading outside. "I think-" thunder booms loudly in the air as he began to speak, deafening out his voice. He quickly shuts the doors and looks through the windows outside. "It's started."
( Oh, I just noticed you said you "are" in a romantic mood. Ignore my previous comment then, I thought you said you weren't in one. )

Kristin backed away from the balcony and the storm. She hated rain. It was raining the day her family was murdered. It was raining and she was late and she couldnt help them when she arrived. She was late because of the rain. The river they lived near by had destroyed the bridge so she had to find another way to get home, thus she was late. Without noticing, tears had started running down her cheeks.

Firomis walked over to Kristin and used his finger to wipe away her tears. "It was raining that day." he closed his eyes for a brief moment before he opened them again. "Hush dear Kristin, don't say a word. Take my hand, I will protect you, carry you away to a place of dreams. Fields filled with light, flowers all in sight, we will be together. Hush dear Kristin, take my embrace, it will keep you safe." he slowly began to sing a lullaby in a sweet and almost angelic voice, as he wrapped a black sheet around her and put his arms around her.

It was a if she had lost her voice. Firomis was so nice to her. She closed her eyes, not because she wanted to sleep but because she wanted to only hear the lullaby and sense his presence next to her. Her eyes had fooled her many times so she had learnt not to trust them. Being in his arms felt nice, felt almost safe. It was a feeling she hadnt felt for a very long time. She hugged him back, just to make sure that she wasnt alone.

He lifted her gently up, one arm under her legs and the other around her back as he continued to sing the lullaby. He slowly carried her over to the bed and gently laid her on it, singing softer and softer as he repeated the lullaby.
