Filled with a child like excitement Akira hesitantly reached out to take the hair pin. "That is amazing." She breathed softly, looking the pin over. She had been fascinated the whole time, watching the dancing balls. "You are amazing." she said looking up into Ewan's face. "What did they two colors stand for?" she asked trying to envision the magic again. She was baffled, amazed by the beauty and ease he had with it. She blinked, watching him like a child would a magician.

"I-its not that there is something on your face Calista. You are just very beautiful and exotic to me. I am sorry if my gaze offends you in anyway." Alex said embarrassed as he looked away. "Your appearance is very pleasurable to my sight."

“I don’t mind you looking at my face. I just thought something was on my face.” Calisto would gently touch his face as she turned his head to look at her. She didn’t want him feeling like he couldn’t look at her. She almost giggled in fact as she returned to holding the wood in her arms readjusting it so that she didn’t drop the wood. “Think we should head back?”

"Well," said Ewan, "that depends on the circumstance. In this case, the gold represents royalty. The white represents your purity. This hairpin will help to preserve the purity of the princess to which I now speak. As long as I live, it will protect you. Not only that," he winked again, "it'll look so cute on you!"

Akura tilted her head to the side, she smiled at him, looking into his eyes. He was special, she could tell that, a special person. She liked him. He was unique from people where she came from, and from the other two people who she had met. He had a spark of life that she loved. "Thank you." she said softly, blushing like a rose. With much care she lifted some of the hair that fell against her cheek, and pulling it back she fastened it back with the hair pin. She looked up at Ewan, smiling at him. "How does it look?" She asked having trouble coming up with anything else. She was thankful for his protection.

Ewan grinned. "It looks wonderful, dear!" He turned his attention to the fish long enough to notice that they were done. "Well now, it looks like our fish are ready to be removed from the flame. Would you do the honor, miss Akira?" Seemingly from out of nowhere, he produced a mat for the fish to be placed on, laying it on the ground beside them.

Akira smiled, "Thank you Sir Ewan." she said giggling lightly. She reached out to lift the stick from the rocks. She did so carefully so she would not get burned again. She placed it gently on the mat, and watching it for a second she looked up at Ewan. She threw her arms up in the air, "YEA!" she cheered. "My first fish!" She giggled happily. "Thank you for your help!" She said excitedly. She wanted to wrap her arms around him to express her gratitude, but she was not sure that it was alright here in this land.

"You are very welcome," Ewan said, chuckling lightly. He quite admired Akira's enthusiasm. It reminded him of his younger self when he lived at the monastery. The angel then noticed that the princess appeared to want to hug him and nodded to show that it was alright.

Giggling she wrapped her arms around him, her cheek rubbed against his chest. "I have already learned so much from you, of all people I could have met, I am sure you are the best!" She said sitting up and smiling at him. She felt very happy. "I hope the others are back before the fish cools off too much." She said looking into the forest worriedly.

Alex blushed slightly as Calista touched his face and guided his gaze to her's.
"I...yes you are right. We don't want that poor little fire spirit to get to tired. Lets get it some food." Alex said smiling as he looked into her eyes.

“Then let us get this wood to it, I’m sure the others are waiting as…” She would not finish her sentence as she sensed something practically trying to push Alex down. Her silver eyes looking around wildly as her silver dragon’s wings would appear out of nowhere upon her back.
“So, you sensed me little dragon. Makes things easier for me to kill you, someone has a hefty prices on your remaining asleep or dead. I think dead is better, don’t you?” The voice in question would not come out of hiding, but a dagger would come flying straight at Calisto as Nadia would teleport from the location practically kicking Calisto in the back towards the dagger before teleporting again vanishing from the battle.
Calisto didn’t know what to do. She knew the dagger had to be poisoned as she would quickly grab a potion from her pouch and drink it before the dagger struck her body. It’d impact her left arm as she fell back dropping the wood she had.

"I'm glad I could make you happy," Ewan said with a warm smile. "As for the others, I'm sure they'll be back shortly." As he said that, he thought he heard a faint sound of wood clattering to the ground. He looked toward the forest, adding, "I wonder what's keeping them, though..."

"You make me very happy." She told him truthfully. "Very happy, thank you." Akira turned her admiring gaze from Ewan to the forest. She watched it for a moment, curious as well. "Should we go see?" She asked hearing the wood fall as well, that didn't seem right. "Or do you think that they are searching for privacy?"

"I'm not sure," Ewan replied. He didn't hear another sound following the fallen wood, so he didn't think it to be anything too serious. "I think we should wait here for now. If anything is happening, I'm sure they can handle it." In reality, he wasn't completely sure, but he did have faith.

Akira nodded, she listened to him and with a happy sigh she lay back in the prickly green grass. She giggled feeling it poke her soft skin. "I love this." She said running her hands over the grass. "It's so beautiful!"
