'God d&%n this headache. Now I have Xurdion in a panic.' Xurdion had just landed beside Amelia and was proceeding to make up an herb remedy for her headache. "It's just a headache and I just took some Tylenol you can ask Jase." Amelia didn't know whether or not the herbs would affect the Tylenol she took or accidentally poison her but she was willing to try anything so that she could get back into the air again. While lying on the ground for the third time that day, Amelia looked up at the sky and saw Jason, Sophie, Jordan and Sky talking to each other. Sophie was making some gestures 'Making fun of Xurdion and I no doubt.' Ever since Amelia met Xurdion she felt this connection between the two of them that they could sense when something was severly off with the other. Apparently, Amelia wasn't the only one that noticed since Sophie and Sky kept dropping hints that Amelia and Xurdion should get together. 'The alchemist and the auror, a lethal combination in battle.' Amelia thought to herself. "You know guys. ..." Amelia said calling up to the team, "A "How are you feeling Amelia" would be nice instead of making fun of me." .....

"A headache? I don't think muggle medicine will do the trick, but don't worry. I've got just the thing you need." Xurdion searched through his small pouch and grabbed a few herbs from it. He ground them up with a small rock he always carried with him just incase of emergancies where he needed to produce an herbal remedy. He looked around and saw some blades of grass nearby that could suffice as a constant so he took about five blades and mixed them into the concoction(?). Soon there was a small ball of herbs in the palm of Xurdion's hand. "Here, this should help a lot. But be warned, it's a little bittersweet." He said with a smile as he handed her the medicine. "Go ahead and play. I'll be down here with Amelia until she feels better. Oh and, thanks for blowing my cover guys!" He shouted up to Jace, Sky, and Sophie.
"Sorry brother! I didn't know!" Sky said with a small laugh. "Well, let's leave those two alone and get back to practice." He added but just then he realized what Xurdion had meant so he quickly flipped his broom around and had a huge expression of shock on his face. "Sorry, what did you say?!"
"You heard me!" Xurdion shouted back, his face was turning a deep red color. "Amelia, I was wondering...maybe if you weren't to busy...you'd like to go out sometime?"
Sky's expression of shock turned into pure disbelief. He had to slap himself before he realized this was real. "Bloody hell..." He muttered and felt as if he was going to fall off his broom. "Impossible, why does he choose NOW of all times to ask? Now I might not be able to focus during tryouts!" Sky said as he awaited Amelia's response.

Sophie gaped at the two, her expression pure shock. "Holy. Freaking. Heck." She said, staring at the two of them below. After a minute, she regained her composure, and after she shook her head, Sophie was back to being Sophie. "Frick, Xurdion, nice timing," she said with a laugh. "Next time, try doing it not in the middle of Quidditch. Sheesh." Turning back to her shocked teammates, she smiled. Hm, I guess Xurdion changed in the time I was gone, she thought to herself. Looking around, Sophie could barely contain the laughter that came at her. "Jeez, I don't think anyone could take any more surprises. Otherwise they'll all get a heart attack." She said, returning her gaze to Amelia, awaiting her response.

When Xurdion finished preparing the herbal remedy, Amelia took the ball of herbs and ingested it. As she was taking the herbs, Xurdion asked her if she would like to go out sometime. 'Xurdion. The guy I've had a crush on since 5th year has finally asked me out? Wow.' Amelia turned beet red and had shook her head trying to regain her composure. 'Holy smoke, am I hallucinating or is this for real?' However, seeing the look on his face and the chatter die down in the air, Amelia knew this was for real. Deciding to give a response before she made everyone go crazy Amelia responded, "I would love to go out with you."

"Holy crap," Lori said, so shocked that she became limp. Leaning backwards, she pretended to have a heart attack, putting her fists against her chest and fell backwards, off her broom, at least sixty feet in the air. After preforming several 360 degree spins like a rag doll while falling, Lori snapped her fingers and her Firebolt 2 zoomed down and caught her. Shaking some hair out of her eyes, Lori searched her pockets as she lowered herself towards them, circling around where the two were. As she got about ten feet above Amelia and Xurdion's heads, Lori finally found what she was looking for. Taking out a bag of rose petals, hey, you never know when you need them, Lori continued to circle around the two, whistling 'Here Comes the Bride' while throwing the rose petals over them.

Xurdion's face was still a bright red color when Amelia responded, it seemed like she was, also, embarressed(?). "Great." Xurdion said with a smile, his voice was rather dry and hoarse so he cleared it up quickly. "Heh, so...you feel any better? I mean, with the medicine." He was truely over-joyed but he tried to suppress his joy as much as possible so he didn't start jumping up and down like an idiot. "Lori, heh heh, could you stop that?" His voice was getting stronger but not by much.
Sky blinked repeatedly at Amelia's response. "Well, I'll be damned." Sky couldn't believe what was actually going on. "Thanks, Amelia! You're not helping the cause! Can we please get on with my tryouts before aliens come down from space and take us all to their planet?" Sky felt as though nothing would suprise him anymore today. "Also, I must ask, is this an alternate universe? Because I never thought you two would get together. If so, can I do a matrix move or something?" He was referring to one of his favorite muggle movies ever made, and he was quite curious as to whether or not he could do something like Neo did.

"Well excuse me if I don't ignore what I feel Sky." Amelia said with a laugh. "Just wait until I get back in the air again and I'll teach you a lesson." 'Though if I tried to get back into the air now I would probably fall down again.' "By the way we go to a school where we fly on broomsticks for sport, cast spells with sticks, some of us turn into animals, and we see ghosts every single day. I don't think we get more alternate universe than that wise guy." Turning her attention back to Xurdion, Amelia replied, "I feel a little off but I should be fine in a few moments. I can already feel the herbs kicking in. Go back and join the team. They seem to be getting a little impatient espcially if Lori has now decided to toss rose petals." "Seriously, where does she get all this stuff from?' ......

"Hm, touche." Sky responded with a smile. "I see that your wit is still intact, Amelia. But how about your throwing arm? Is that stable as well?" He flew back to his position at the goals while he awaited for the rest of the team to test him. "Alright, seriously guys, I want to tryout for the last time before I have to leave." Sky was a bit sad that he had to leave Hogwarts so soon but he already had a career waiting for him back in Ireland. A famous dragon hunter was going to teach him everything he knew and Sky would eventually become one himself, though he would have preferred becoming a magical animal hunter instead, mainly because it seemed to involve more action. "Alright, I'm ready whenever you are!"
Xurdion smiled at Amelia. "Are you sure? They can wait for a while longer, you should rest more." But it only seemed like Amelia was going to persist until he finally left. "Alright, if you need anything I'm just up there." He said as he straightened himself out. He walked over and grabbed his broomstick, he cast one last glance at Amelia before he flew up into the air to join the others. "Alright, jeez Sky, you need to be more patient."

Lori grinned at them, stuffing the bag back into her pockets. "Bye!" Lori said, rising back up will saying in a sing-song voice, "Amelia and Xurdion sittin' in a tree." Flying back to the team, she continued the little chant. "K-I-S-S-I-N-G. First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes Amelia with a baby carriage." She giggled as she hovered in the air, her head swaying back and forth casually. "So, come on, then! I don't plan on wasting my entire life waiting for you guys." Lori began to fly in circles impatiently.
((Gah, writer's block.))

Looking at Xurdion Amelia replied, "I'll be fine. I'll see you in the air in less than three minutes." Then she heard Sky making a comment about her throwing arm."Someone give me a Quaffle, I'll show Sky that I still have my throwing arm." Amelia shouted up to her team mates. In a few more minutes Amelia would be back in the air again. She already felt her strength returning to her and she knew at that point she could throw the quaffle to Sky from where she was on the ground. 'Just hope to God that I don't knock him off his broom.' While waiting she heard a sing-song face in the air that she recognized as Lori. 'What is that girl singing now?' Pausing to think about it she vaguely heard the tune of the rhyme that all kids used to sing when their friends like each other. "Jesus Christ Lori! Quit with the jokes and go play Quidditch. Xurdion is back in the air so what's your excuse now for being so impatient." .....

"No, it's quite fine, really." Vlaityn murmured at the rapidly disappearing form of Kanita. She had looked so...so...pained. Something Vlaityn hoped she'd never have to see in her face again, but such things are inevitable, one must suppose, so Kani's need to leave would, of course, be understood.
Somewhat. Actually, not at all. It only made Vlaityn more and more puzzled and worried, but with Kanita gone and the whole team antsy, this was not the time nor place to pursue.
But on the lighter side, this gave Vlaityn just enough time to catch tid bits of her teams talk. which was mostly chatter and some romance. Between Xurdion and Amelia perhaps? A large grin broke out across Vlaityn's face and she finally processed what had just happened.
"What's this? I don't remember telling you guys so go about hooking up while I was busy. Is this a new team rule?"

"No it's a sick person on the ground who just happened to be asked out. Well look at the bright side Vlaityn....." Amelia said to the some what confused captain, "I won't be asked out again in the middle of a Quidditch practice cause I agreed to date Xurdion." Amelia started laughing. She definately felt a lot better now and was ready to get back into the air. Amelia still had a score to settle with Sky. Getting back on her broom and putting her Quidditch robe back on Amelia took off into the air once again. "Someone pass me the quaffle. I feel fine and I'm about ready to show Sky that my throwing arm is still intact." ......

(( Excuse me, but I think this thread is still needed. After all there's still three people who would love to show off their quidditch skills as keeper. I think the only reason we haven't been posting is because all of a sudden the emphasis of the thread was directed elsewhere. Since that seems to be the case, I'm going to be rude and obnoxious and intrude upon the dialougue between other characters. Sorry. Edit: I just saw quidditch updates. Sorry, I wasn't notified that I made keeper. Oh, well. This could still pan out to be a good oppurtunity for some roleplaying.))
Jordan was beginning to grow impatient at the suddent standstill of the mock practice. He hovered silently for what seemed like ages before finally deciding to step up and take some initiative. After scanning the surrounding area, Jordan saw some slight commotion below him. Amelia was speaking to the team captain, and the two seemed to be holding the practice up. The young Ravenclaw students took a chance and flew down to stop next to Vlaityn. "Hey," he said nervously, "I don't want to be a pain, but could we go ahead and start?" Jordan forced a nervous smile, hoping he wouldn't tick off anyone with his interruption. "The thing is," he continued, "I think most of us might have some homework to get done. I know that I still need another five inches to finish off my Divination essay, but I'd like to get some practice in before tryouts." Jordan then waited silently and hovered awkwardly hoping for a positive reaction.
