Malkin nodded as she took off.
"Lunch. That's in the cafeteria...crap. I'll need to get directions again," he sighed heavily pulling out a stone used to seal fiend's spirits once released from their bodies. Nodding to the guards, he got their permission to go down. Sensing the amounts of fiends down here, he breathed out sharply. "Do they ever clean this place out? I can feel one in combat but, my god." Shaking his dead, he opened one of the cages feeling the fiend coming toward him as this overly-spiked scorpion thing popped out.
A few minutes later.

Stepping over it's dead body and picking up the stone with the fiend's soul in it, he walked over to some dark mush growing in the walls. Tugging it out, he stuffed it into a handkerchief and pocketed it.
"Awesome. Now to get out of here and locate the cafeteria." He was smiling as he walked out, unusually long teeth showing slightly.
((Sorry about the "few minutes later" bit. In all honesty, I didn't want to post a really long post.))

((That stone with the fiends spirit will have to be turned into the Sealed Fiend Spirit Storage building, which is the building between the Executive Apartments and the Maintainance building. The building is only one story high, though there are over a dozen levels below ground level. This building is where they file and store all sealed spirits.

On a related not, each seal, used to seal a fiends spirit, can only be used once. This is why most seals are simply drawn or painted onto sheets of paper or scrolls.))

"Why wouldn't I show him around. I'm not doing anything important today, and he's new. He's gotta learn his way around eventually, and who better to show him than myself. Besides, maybe someday we'll do a mission together and he'll return the favor by saving my a** or something." Matt said, his cocky grin spreading across his face once again.

"That's not what I was referring to. I meant the slamming into the wall part..." Isaac mentioned. It didn't matter to him whether or not Kiro went all out, or even if he had won. The careening into a wall with your back part was what would have bothered him. Isaac suddenly smiled on the inside. If need be, he probably just found a way to provoke Kiro.

Emma snickered as she snuck to the library. She could see Isaac and Matt, she couldn't quite see Kiro. But she knew it was him, if only because of a fraction of his clothing was all she saw. sneaking up on Isaac and Matt she suddenly sprung up, messing with the both of their hair. "Hey boys! Is this the end of the tour or are you two still just getting started!?" She winked at Kiro then, "Hey there Kiro."

"Gah! Why do ya got to do that?" Matt exclaimed and ran his gauntleted hand forward through his hair, laying it down again. The he swept his bangs back up off of his face. "Yeah, this is pretty much it. Showed the kid around the place, introduced to a few people we ran into. He should be able to make his way around here on his own from here on."

((By this time I'm gonna say that it's about 11:00 AM. Getting close to lunchtime for everyone...))

A figure dressed in dark brown pants and a matching shirt, with a green jacket and cloak stepped out of the library. His jacket and cloak were both heavily laden with loose patches in varying shades of green, with some brown mixed in. There were fingerless leather gloves on his hands. A wide leather belt was around his waist. Hanging from it were a quiver of arrows, several pouches, and a set for forked daggers in their sheathes. He wore a bow, strung and ready, over one shoulder and a large box like object, almost as tall as himself and half as wide, over the other. He had dark brown hair, which was hard to see because of the hood of his cloak being up, and piercing golden eyes. He stopped as he came out the door and glance around at the gathering on the steps.

"Heya, Gene." Matt said. "How's it goin'?"

Genes eyes shifted to Matt without turning his head, his blank expression never altered in the slightest. His eyes shifted back away and he stepped around the group and made his way down the path and out of sight without a word.

Matt shook his head sightly. "That's Gene Clancy. He's all kinds of useful on a mission, but he's kinda a jerk otherwise."

((Wow, this post looks like Christmas....))

Malkin started to walk in what he hoped was the direction of the cafeteria. After passing the Storage building he paused then dropped it off inside, picking up a new stone. The lady behind the counter smiled when he asked for a rock, instead of a paper.
"Worried you're going to smoke your seal again?" she asked laughing. Malkin, embarrassed, just stared at her until she stopped. Handing him the stone, she walked off grumbling.
Leaving the building, he walked around, passing by a hooded figure. Pausing as he walked off, Malkin whispered, "He's got gold eyes," shrugging he noticed the group outside the library. Turning around he started to walk off.

Interesting technique... This could take a while...

William, seeing that Sol apparently had everything under control, released his grip on his swords handle and leaned back against the steel bars of the cage arena. So long as Sol didn't appear to be in any real immediate danger he figured he'd just sit back and enjoy the show.

The boar creature lined Aries up in his sights again. Again, predictably, it dug in its hooved feet and charged head first. Electricity again coursing over its thickly furred body. The field of static that it was emitting expanding and causing dust and other small particles to rise into the air.

((Alright, creed, go nuts.))

((Sorry its been so long since I posted))
Aries looked at the boar, lowering the staff from the throwing position. He reached into his pocket and retrieved his ID dagger, flipping it around mid-air so that he could grab the blade with his fingertips, he then brought his arm full swing around and threw it at the fiend. He hoped it would fly true and get a clean it on its mark. If it were to, the blade would sink into the skull of the fiend, and hopefully put the beast out of its misery. However, if it didn't Aries planted his feet firm and prepared himself for the dodge and strike that would follow should the beast get close enough.

The blade found its mark, sinking deep into the think skull of the boar fiend. Blood began to pour from the wound into the creatures eyes. Though the beast was horribly, and more than likely mortally, wounded it would still not lay down dead. It thrashed its head from side to side, trying to dislodge the painful blade. Blood coated its face and eyes, blinding it, and had even dripped down to its snout, where it rapidly inhaled and exhaled the red liquid, creating a pink froth. The enraged, and terrified, beast charged forward, several feet to the right of Sol, aimed straight for the heavy bars of the cage.

Aries watched as the crazed beast charged past him towards the bars of the cage. "Stupid..." He sighed, Putting the metal staff up over his shoulders, grabbing and holding onto it with his hands. He stepped towards the beast, cautious still, ready to dodge, ready to attack if necessary. However, it was clear to him that the beast was likely dying, his blade had found its mark, blood ran profusely from the fiends head, Aries could see the froth that breathing its own blood was causing. The fight was over, the fiend just wasn't dead yet.

The beast ran headfirst into the metal bars of the cage and there was a resounding clang as the haft of the dagger embedded in its skull collided directly with one of the bars. The fiend collapsed into a pile of dead flesh against the edge of the ring.

William walked over to the monster, recognizing that it's life was no more. He removed a scroll tube from a pocket in his jacket and pocked the lid off. He removed a rolled up piece of parchment and a brush, already wet with ink. He quickly, but also carefully, painted a rune onto the sheet. As he was doing the this the incorporeal spirit of the fiend was emerging from its body, pulling to separate itself from its dead shell. The spirit was almost fully emerged from the dead body when William calmly walked up and thrust the seal against its head. There was a crackle of energy and then the spirit fell into the seal, almost like water out of a spigot but in reverse. William calmly rolled the seal up and tied it with a piece of string. He pushed against the boar fiend with his boot and its body rolled over.

"Good luck getting that out." William said, referring to the dagger that was now embedded into the fiends skull partway past the blade.

"It'll come out, just gotta finish cracking the skull open is all." He smiled a little, bringing the staff off his shoulders and bringing the staff vertically into the air and bringing it down, smashing the end against the boar's skull. A faint crack could be heard, but it was small, it was clear this would take a few times over. And so he proceeded to, almost savagely bash at the beast's skull repeatedly until it smashed open with a final hit that pushed the metal rods end deep into the soft fleshy lump that was the fiend's brain.
"Well that did it." He smiled, some blood has splattered him, but not a lot, he bent over and retrieved his dagger from the mush, cleaning it off with a cloth he took from the inside of his jacket. He put the dagger away, and proceeded to clean his staff. "So, what now William."

"Well, now I have to go turn this scroll into storage. After that maybe we could get in some more actual training. And at some point today I have to go see Kimiko at the Medical Building. I promised I'd read to her again today." William said. He reached through the bars of the cage and undid the latch on the outside, then opened the door and stepped through. "Any of that sound appealing to you?"
PostPosted: Sun Mar 08, 2009 3:03 pm

"I wouldn't mind some actual training, perhaps a spar, unless that is, your still recovering from your spar from earlier." He smirked a bit, and followed William out of the cage. "I need to make a trip to the smithy at some point, or at least make a quick trip to the armory. Thinking I'll pick up some daggers."

((*cough*William*cough*....))

"I'm up for another match. Ty may be tough as nails and freakishly strong, but with that big sword his attacks are easy to predict. And that makes it easy for me to turn the brunt of the blow aside. Truth be told, I really didn't take the fight as seriously as I could have. Don't tell Ty that though. He'd get pissed, and then I wouldn't have a choice but to fight him seriously. Anyways, I need to drop this seal off before we do anything else." William said.

(( Oh, sorry about not posting right away. Some stuff has been happening... >.> ))

"I see..." Kiro replied to Matt.

Kiro stared blankly at Emma. Kiro never had a good memory when it came to most people unless he spent a fair amount of time around them. "Uhh..." Kiro stammered. "What's you're name again?" Kiro asked very plainly to the girl, it wasn't in Kiro's state of mind that this might hurt her feelings.

(( Wow, I just noticed there was a new one. >.> Hello. ))
