He didnt say anything.he just leaned in and kissed her gently.

Kenna's eyes widened in surprise but she found herself kissing him back. It was strange, from all the things she had ever seen or read, first kisses were supposed to be awkward, but it wasn't. She leaned her head back after a second, her eyes full of tears.

She smiled, tears slowly leaking out of her eyes. She put her head down, hoping he wouldn't notice that she was so emotional at the moment.

Kenna smiled through her tears and hugged him tight. Suddenly, she remembered her promise to Ian. "I'm sorry Tyler. I am supposed to be helping make a snowman right now. I really was worried about you, I wanted to be sure you were ok." she told him, wiping her eyes on the sleeve of her already wet hoodie.

Ian had finished the snowman while Kenna was away. He was starting to wonder what was taking her so long. She said she'd be right back.

Kenna came back out into the blinding snow. She walked over to Ian and saw that he had finished their snowman alone. "I am really sorry." she told him, the tears welling back up in her eyes.

Kasey got up a little bit after Kenna did to go and find Tyler. After a few minutes of searching, she heard what she assumed to be Tyler and Kenna talking. The talking stopped as Kasey reached the threshold and worried for a moment they had stopped because they were talking about her. But no; they were kissing. Kasey's heart skipped a beat and the ache returned into her eyes, intesified now.
She didn't cry. Kasey never cried when it came to these sort of things. She just pretended to read the paper when really the letters seemed to be in some strange language she couldn't understand. She sighed.

Ian smiled. "It's okay. If you want, we can build another one from scratch." Looking around looking for deep pockets of snow, he spied Kasey sitting on the steps of the building, and sad and tearful look in her eyes. "What's wrong with Kasey?" he asked Keena. "Hey Kasey! You wanna build a snowman with us?"

He walked out of the clocktower then went back to his room. He slid his Headphones back on and was listening to some linkin park.He climbed out the window and sat on the little ledge of roof looking at the group below.

"Um...I doubt she will want to help if I am here." Kenna told Ian. She looked over at Kasey and the knot in her stomach tightened uncomfortably. Now she had hurt all of the people she had ever cared for...Ian, though he didn't know it yet, was sure to be upset when he inevitably heard what had happened. She looked down at the snow. "I will come back out tomorrow, I'm cold." she told Ian, very truthfully, although the snow was not what was the cause of her chill.
