Every immortal that has agreed to turn against the mindless murderers. Every last one of them is a counterexample to that." He grinned. I love debating...

Mephlius got a message over the HIN. He read it. "Tokeru... We may not get to wait until tomorrow." He showed the message to Tokeru.Kuro To: Amnity and Melphlius. From: Kuro Content: I managed to get out of Las Noches. Had a little problem but I’m ok. I have an emergency from my past; I’ll be gone for a few days. PS. Raevyn is fine

Tokeru smiled. "Then everything is on track. I will go provide proof that he has been captured, and you will continue with the plan. It's the other hunters and Alasdair we need to convince, not us."
He stood up and walked out.

"Fair enough." Mephlius said as Tokeru left. He leaned back in his chair a little bit, then looked back down at Amnity. He smiled, then looked at the ceiling again.

Amnity thought about Tokeru's plan and bit her lip. Only a complete idiot would follow it, and luckily for him, she was a complete idiot. She looked down at the ground, trying not to make eye contact. The plan sounds like fun! I'm in! She shook her head at the thought. Before, she would be ready to jump into a dangerous mission in a heart beat, but now that she has something to live for...

Mephlius took a deep breath, waiting patiently. He looked to Amnity. "Am... what do you think Alasdair's doing to him? I'm kinda worried about Kuro. He's headstrong... and Raevyn being there probably isn't helping."

"We should do a search and rescue! Kuro is still our friend afterall." Amnity smiled, excitement filled voice. She grabbed took an elastic and tied her hair up, which she hadn't done in years. Her IRA tattoo was now visible, right under her neck.

"It's already too late, Am. We already got a false message from him... Surely they've already got him under their control. Besides, we'll be needed for Tokeru's plan any minute now." He sighed.

Amnity's smile didn't fade, she cracked her knuckles and stretched her back, as if she were going to run a marathon. "I can't believe you aren't...Anxious! Kuro is smarter then you give him credit for. Missions and plans like this is what keeps us on our toes!...Think of it as gambling, it's dangerous, but a hell of a lot of fun!" She tried to lighten the mood as she also waited for Tokeru.

Mephlius stood up from his chair. "It's not that I'm not anxious. It's that... I'm trying to be like Tokeru. I'm trying to run all the scenarios through my head. And every single one always leads to one of two results. Me going Lycan, or me drawing a gun to Kuro. I don't like where either of those lead..."
