...Have you installed the game patch first? Anyway... I'm between PCB and IN in terms of danmaku. I like both the same. :L In terms of fighting games, my favourite is Hisoutensoku. And spin-offs... Well, Koumajou Densetsu 2 FTW!

Vengeful Blademistress ...Have you installed the game patch first? Anyway... I'm between PCB and IN in terms of danmaku. I like both the same. :L In terms of fighting games, my favourite is Hisoutensoku. And spin-offs... Well, Koumajou Densetsu 2 FTW! Yeah, but it's okay now. Last night I downloaded a folder with all the main series games and the fighters, and luckily for me SWR was already patched and everything. Going to have to look up a manual or something though, I forgot how to play, lol.

My top two favorites would be Imperishable Night and Perfect Cherry Blossom!!

I can't really answer that question; I have many favorites for many different reasons.
If I had to choose only one, though, it would be either Ten Desires or Embodiment of Scarlet Devil.
EoSD was my first Touhou game, and it has my first favorite Touhou character (Flandre). Ten Desires surpasses it in most ways and has my current favorite (Yoshika) on the third stage. Plus, Futo is the only Stage 5 boss that I actually enjoy fighting!
Reisen, Sakuya, Youmu, all those Stage 5 bosses (and Murasa) irritate me to no end with their spellcards, and most games where I've fought the final boss, the final boss is easier than the Stage 5 boss for some reason (Remilia is WAY easier than Sakuya for me)

Embodiment of the Scarlet Devil was the first Touhou game I ever played. My first death was on Rumia's final spell card, and the farthest I've come to a complete 1cc run on normal,was getting to Remilia's stage, and loosing my last life on her first spell.
Stage1: WTF? Homing bullets!?
Stage2: Okay, okay -dies on icicle fall- What the(9)!?
Stage3:Okay, its okay. Chinese person, bring it on Meiling. -rainbow typhoon- (-headdesk-headesk-)
Stage4: Hey look a library, maybe this is easier -books appear-
-grazing- crying
Stage5: I'm almost there! Pretty meido. wahmbulance -Time Hax- wahmbulance That is just...
Stage6: Final boss! -Dies in first bullet- eek burning_eyes scream talk2hand
I havent dared to return to the Scarlet Devil Mansion since. Now I try my hand at Th11 and 13. I died on the first bullets, and damn he amped up bullet speed. I miss Rumia now.

My fav is definitely Imperishable Night, I like the buddy system and the game overall is absolutely beautiful. It also holds a special place in my heart because its the first one in the series I ever played :3 However, in terms of music Ten Desires holds the top spot biggrin

Remilia is super easy compared to sakuya it's so irritating. I'd have normal mode beat if not for sakuya scream

I like "Shoot the Bullet", "Unthinkable Nature Law", and " Double Dealing Character"
"Shoot the Bullet" teach me how to graze bullets in other Touhou Maniac Shooting games,
"Unthinkable Nature Law", i like it because it's a fighting game biggrin
"Double Dealing Character", i'm interested with the bosses ability (like, Kijin Seija, who switch the controls)

For the main games, definitely UFO. Something about the idea of shooting at spaceships as a Touhou character just gets me hyped.
But if we're throwing in fan games as well, Uniting Barrage Action is amazing.
