This cold was already starting to kick Rai's a**. But this was actually an a** kicking in a good way. It wasn't allowing his ADD to kick in. Even being in thought he was completely aware of his surroundings. When he heard the crunching of a footstep against the ground he turned quickly. His hand got up there to catch the snowball. Bad idea.. very bad idea. From the velocity of the throw coming from Giglamesh's hand the snow ball had slightly hardened from flying through the cold, damp air. He then dropped the half snow/half ice ball on the ground and shook his now beat red hand back and forth. His eyes narrowing at his sensei's approach at telling him about the second step of his chakra training. But what could he do about it except for just follow orders?

"I am supposed to concentrate my chakra when trying to regenerate it at the same time? Is that even possible?!" That last line Raisuke would have just muttered to himself. Then he would just step out of the way as to not be in the firing range of his sensei's attacks, or flying clones either one. Then he would perform the handseals with haste. Causing the clones to materialize from bubbles forming. Rai had found an easier way to cast his clones. He pulled the moisture out of the elements in the air. It was naturally damp here so he did it with ease. The clones would appear in a cresent around Giglamesh' front side. Ready to attack. But Raisuke wasn't too hasty. He knew where that kind of foolishness would get him.

((i never said he approached he could of been standing there in plain sight using henge with his coat rai hassnt been here long so he would be squinting from the bight snow))

Giglamesh for a slight instant would scan the clones, in that instant he counted eighteen clones in a arched formation in front of giglamesh. Good he can already make more than i thought he could....but he should know better than a forward charging ark....the large numbers would cause it to get crowded in there attack. Giglamesh reached down slowly, raisuke would probably watch whit grimace as he slowly reached down towards his belt, the boy was probably thinking his clones wouldnt make it a minute against his....chopstick? Giglamesh removed one of his chrome chopsticks and held it in his right hand, pointed down between his index, and middle finger like a long pointed claw. The giglamesh physical chakra was seen physically creeping down the chopstick and the cold and snowy air almost instantly took on the property of ice chakra. He wassent even sure it could do that, until he was practicing and learning fire elemental chakra, he saw his physical chakra not take the earth property but instead it took ice chakra because of the snow and ice above the earths soil. It was like a single icicle extending down off his two extended finger like devilish claw. He would extend that ice claw upwards pointing at raisuke which he would then curl it back two times as if saying come on with a twisted grin across his face.

Mizu clones werent nothing much a single penetrating blow should should be a like a bullet to them killing them in one shot. But it didnt seem like it but giglamesh was on incredible edge, he was watching very closely to those clones. not only was he on the defensive but he was on edge, because while he could move much faster than the clones, in the situation where one would move right, or that raisuke would strategize right and one of his clones would actually hit him, giglamesh would be there to hit it before it could him. His eye constantly moving his hearing covering the entire area not a sound avoided him in the gorge, his concentration was being held back it was at its peak. He didnt tell they boy the fourth part of the training was to use strategy to hit him at least twenty times that part he would have to figure out on his own if he could make it that far. As well as he wanted raisuke to replenish his chakra, but he didnt tell him why that reason was because he wanted him to keep making as many clones as he could once he had enough chakra to replace the broke by rai's concentration or but gig's attacks but again that part was for him to figure out...he might tell him after he destroyed half his numbers.

The snow held the imprint of her foot as she walked further into the arms of the gorge and an odd feeling of calm came over her. Something about the crisp cold was refreshing. "Bet I won't be feeling so pleasent about it after a few hours..." she thought to herself with a chuckle. Amaya had been in a better mood than ever lately. She could only hope to enjoy it while it lasted. Life had a way of always keeping you balanced. Sooner or later, despair would interrupt hope. It never did anyone any good to think on it though.

Making her way along to her favored area, Amaya saw that Raisuke and Gig-sensei had also taken the trek out here to train. Just a she had though, there would be opportunity to learn from others it would seem. She wouldn't get involved for now though. The Getsuei Odori was still to be mastered. The young girl set her pack into the snow and untied the plum-colored coat from around her waist, slipping into it easily. It wasn't anything very thick, but it was better than skin for the time being. A deep breath was taken and she closed her eyes a moment to recap over what she had learned so far from her attempts at the basic level clan jutsu. Concentration was key, as well as chakra control and absolutely precise timing. "Hm. I'll try it head on, just to get a feel for it again."

Ready to roll, Amaya crouched into a fighting stance, her hand at the ready of the hilt of one of her butterfly swords. And then she lunged forward into a series of practiced steps, focusing her chakra into the bunshins that would appear behind her to imitate her every move at a delay.

Raisuke's eyes were watching Giglamesh very closely. And as soon as he reached for his belt, Rai started to tense up quite a bit. He figured he was actually going to draw a blade. But then as he withdrew a chopstick Rai's expression drooped. It was one of disappointment and shock pretty much at the exact same time. Was he serious? He was really going to fight with a chopstick? But then Rai saw that little glow of the physical chakra just before it turned into a spike of ice. What the hell was he? A fubuki? How could he use ice chakra? Rai didn't understand it at all. But that didn't matter. He didn't need to understand to be able to fight. He had never as much as touched his sensei in a battle where Giglamesh was actually trying. But there was a first time for everything, right?

Next, by the way it looked almost every clone would pull the exact same move. Unsheathing Raisuke's ultimate skill thusfar. His ninjato. Then the clones began to fan out around Giglamesh a little better. Only five would rush in at Rai's opponent. He didn't want to get all of his clones destroyed at once. The were about one hundred and eighty degrees around Giglamesh's front side. The attacks would all me hit and go. He didn't want to let the clones stay in one place for long. If he could keep his clones alive any longer by just using the little details such as leaping away, he was going to do it.

Not going to post rolls for each attack since I know auto hit is only way to hit.

Giglamesh just grined, he only attacked with five of his clones on his first rush, a vaery poor error in judgment. As the first one came in to attack giglamesh dissappeared only to re appeare ever so slightly to the left of the attacking clones actual attack. Then as the second attacked he did the same vanished almost in a teleporting type fashion out side the attack of the clone, as the third came in to attack he used his forearm guards to block his blade with them would great ease, and at the same time another clone took advantage of that and tried attacking giglamesh's back and he would again disappear away from the clones attack to reappear behind the fouth attacking clone which put him in to the path of the last attacking on which he ever so easily jumped corkscrewing to his right side of where he was standing in the air horozontally several feet away from the attacking clones landing leg wide apart leaning foreward on his right hand as well incredibly low to the ground right arm with his ice chopstickile still between his index and middle finger pointing his arm out and upwards some...with that same grin across his face looking directly at raisuke. How serious was giglamesh even trying to be was a very good question at the moment for rai, was he being serious and trying hard to evade his attack while trying to egg him on some? Or was giglamesh still playing with the boy still not showing the full potential of his skill to raisuke, and doing nothing more than teasing him? They are very good questions, and they were for gig to know and raisuke to find out or decide for him self what giglamesh was doing, being serious or toying with the boy...either way he was going to have to work on strategy better if he had even the sligtest hope of touching giglamesh.

It was probably true that Raisuke needed to use strategy to have any hopes of even touching Giglamesh. But Giglamesh knew how to press Rai's buttons quite easily. Rai had always been quick to anger when it came to dealing with his sensei. All the way back to his first days at the academy, Giglamesh seemed to find some sort of sick pleasure in tormenting him. Teasing or not Rai would get angry at how Giglamesh as just jumping and flipping around. All the sudden the clones fanned out three hundred and sixty degrees around Giglamesh. Rai didn't seem to have taken any time to devise any sort of plan for hitting Giglamesh. If he rushed with any more then six clones at a time then it would get hazardous and he would only hurt himself.

Rai's anger would be reflected in his performance. Because one of the clones in the back row would just seem to disappear. It dropped as easily as it was cast. He would have to find a way to settle down, at least a little bit. At this rate he wouldn't learn anything or grow. It would just be the same old cycle over again. Him getting angry with Giglamesh and then getting his a** beat for having a bad attitude. Damn his sensei.. damn him to hell and back. Well... maybe not back.

They had now surronded him, giglamesh would stand upright once again, now it was time for the fun to begin. They would begin there charge and giglamesh's eye was constantly moving watching each of there paths and movemnt watching predicitng how they would move from reading there body language. Even still as they rushed they did not all attack at the exact same time the attacked wit very short period of time between one attack and another, and that exactly what giglamesh made use of. as they would begin rushing his he would use his far superior speed to even raisuke, and the clones were nothing more than fractions of his speed. He made incredible use of them not attacking simotanisouly, as they rushed in giglamesh would seemingly effortlessly shift to the side avoind there to him slow attacks, he would dodge several attacks by shifting from side to side back and forth, it was as if he was glideing between there attacks. And it truly was done as if it was done effortlessly because several times he literally closed his eye while dodging. The attacks kept coming, third fifth sixth and seventh, with each attack giglamesh would gracefully side step each attack avoiding it almost as if he was danceing, and ...he kind of was. Raisuke proably could here it but his radio was playing music, since it was so close to him he could hear it, but because of his super hearing he heard it quite well. His radio was on his privaite pirated signal, and it was playing Metallica's "Orion". Blow afer blow giglamesh was avoiding but then as he stped back to avoid the tenth clone's attack he moved himself right in to the path of another incoming attack, this one was surely going to hit. Giglamesh slid his right foot around in a sweeping like motion and then as he turned his body he would lash his right arm and literally poke his chop sickle literally at his clones attacking ninja to as if a poke would stop it. Actually giglamesh poke went right threw his ninja-to and continued in to the clone face where it stoped but from the pressure it was like it was shot in the head with a magnum basically the back of the water clones head exploded away from his body before the entire clone would splatter in to a puddle, And giglamesh remaind in the stabing pose with his chop sickle. But it didnt last long more attacks came in. In his current post giglamesh would tuck foreward and rol to avoid one and as he rolled back to his feet he wpuld jump over another attack landing behind the twelveth clones attack. He would lash his chop sickle to block another clone attack on one knee, then as the last clone tried to attack giglamesh literaly caught the ninja-to with his bare left hand and did so with out even getting a scratch He would then use his supering strength to push the two attackers blades away from him, and as he did the final attacking clone rushed striahgt at him, to which giglamesh just disappeared and reappeared behind him useing his superios speed. This was incredibly entertaning to him.

Despite his numbers they weren't even able to make a scratch on him. What could Rai do in such a wide open environment? Giglamesh would be too well aware of his surroundings now for Rai to have any any hope in pulling off any kind of sneak attack on him. Rai didn't have enough chakra to do anything except for what his training regimen told him to do. To attack and try to build up more chakra as he did so. What a pain in the a**. Giglamesh had just shoved a finger through his clones head. It seemed like there was no strategy to be had here. It was simply coming down to the concentration and focusing upon his own chakra control, and its wielding properly. One chance he figured he would have at this was to make his clones attack more simultaneously and to attack as many time as they could to improve their chance of scoring hits on giglamesh.

With that though in mind it would appear that all of the clones prepared themselves. This time they would be split off into two even waves of 8. The first wave would then drop their shoulders and rush in. Coming from all sides the only way they could avoid striking each other were thrusting techniques. As the points would near their target, the aim would change. The blades would slash upwards in a quick motion. Followed by backflips out of the way. And just as they had performed the backflips the other clones would rush in. Trying to slash out at Giglamesh's legs, since his attention should have been diverted to the airborn clones. After which, these clones would shove one hand down to the ground and attempt to bring a food up to his midsection. All the while the real Rai was overwatching, hoping not to disappoint.

Rest of attack rolls
PostPosted: Tue Mar 31, 2009 8:14 pm

Giglamesh noticed raisuke was starting to already be pushed to the ropes, and he was the one attacking. He face looked as if it was ready to pour down sweat, if it wasent so cold and lightly snowing. Rai's glare was like piercing dagger shooting towards giglamesh, he had such a animosity towards him, giglamesh enjoyed that look greatly, if his has dis like for him he will try that much harder to accomplish his goal. This was the way giglamesh worked and always would, make those he teaches dislike things about him, possibly hate him, because they would use that hate to strive to be stronger than him, in time they always figure out why so he has to think of more fiendish ways to torment them so for the moment, they would hate him, but in time would know why he works in the ways he does.

This was one of those times, all giglamesh had to do was keep smiling and it would urk raisuke enough where he would try harder and harder to find ways to try and knock that smirk off his face, it was as simple as leading him on. It wassent hard to lead this one on like gig he has pride so it was easy to press his five foot eight inch button to piss him off so he would want to injure gig. He would see them circle around him, this time they all rushed at same time they were attaching as a full circle at the same time but he already knew exactly how to avoid that attack he would squat down some to get ready to do it, but suddenly them withdrew there attack and flipped back and from under then rushed the second wave of attackers....there attack was aimed the same way and they could both be avoided in the same manner. Giglamesh would just seem to vanish from the center even though he was in surrounded all he left was a shockwave in the light snow which sat softly on the ice below, that was under him before he disappeared. Giglamesh was high in the air corkscrewing and flipping incredibly fast then as he would turn and stop himself he was positioned perfectly to launch a massive amount of shuriken below at all the clones like it was raining metal death. But he only pointed his finger at the one below like a gun and lip synced the word "bang" to give a signal of what he cold of done exactly which was take them all out in one foul swoop with no effort. He would land back behind them out even further on to the ice, he was drawing them out slowly but surely on to the ice to give them a even less favorable fight and that grin...that grin was still there.

It wasn't that Raisuke didn't know what Giglamesh was doing. It's just that.. he got so furious with being taken lightly that he would put a hole in Giglamesh's chest if he could. Rai's temper at times was just completely insatiable. And it would become even worse as Giglamesh just avoided his clones attacks as if he was merely dancing in the wind. Then it would almost look as if Giglamesh shot something at the clones due to the fact that two burst as he pointed at them with his iced claw. But the real truth of the matter was that Raisuke had just lost control of his chakra with his rage towards his sensei. But at least Raisuke was gathering his chakra while doing this. He could feel a small reserve building up again. Even though it wasn't much.. he would be able to do something if his clones were destroyed more. Rai would narrow his eyes and let them fall closed. He was still angry and on edge but he was forcing himself to take some control. Taking small, deep breaths, he would start to focus. It was a form of meditation to take control of the situation, at least in his mind if no where else.

Raisuke wouldn't need to open his eyes to know the exact positions of his clones. His control was getting a little bit better and he could make them move with ease if he could just control his anger a little better. But of course Giglamesh knew how to play on that frustration. He was a profession shinobi after all. But Rai had gained enough control over his emotions again to control the clones. Then the next action still looked like Raisuke was angry but that wasn't the case. Each clone would moved in a different direction with what was normally a great speed for Raisuke. Using a small amount of chakra in their feet the moved in different directions, launching three shuriken. Then moving in a different way and throwing the ones from the other hand. This made is so almost every single shuriken flew at Giglamesh from a different angle. This should have made it much more difficult to avoid then his other attacks.

Then Rai could feel it and his eyes opened. He felt some of those shuriken hit Giglamesh. And he damn well better have. He couldn't even exactly count off the top of his head how much metal he had just launched at his sensei. It would look like he was really trying to kill him. And ontop of that feeling he had throw even more in a second attacking effort from the clones. He had mastered that anger he had for the time being. But controlling the flying of so many shuriken, he lost control of some of his clones. They just froze up and lost their skin, clothes and so on. They had become statues of uncorrupted, pure spring water. They still looked exactly like Rai but were unable to move at all. They were done, that was for sure.
