I burst into Scarlet's apartment, alot different from the little house she owned, I thought to myself. I didn't find her but instead found the porch door open, the wind made my long cape ruffle in the breeze, I pulled my wide brimmed hat farther infront of my eyes, I had had this most of my entire life, I thought, my memory was full of holes, but I could remember parts, like all the times I wish I had my vampire hunter's hat, which I left in a house somewhere, couldn't remember anything about that but I did manage to summon it up. Infact, I had unconcsiously managed to buy alot of gear I had had in my old life. I walked out into the cool night air and peered out for Scarlet, I tried to use our link but it was so old I couldn't manage to contact her at all, I could feel it like a chain buried deep underground but I couldn't reach it. I sighed sadly and went to sit on a couch. I needed time to think.

I had taken the ring out of my goggles and placed it on my ring finger, I looked down at them and saw a rose pink colored flame, a safety device I had installed in it, Scarlet was in trouble. I jumped up and ran at the porch, which was still open, and jumped head first out of the apartment building. An old trick I knew, I held my hands out behind myself and shot fire out at a hyper speed, I proppeled myself through the air like a jet, I had to raech Scarlet in time!

I cut off the fire but was still proppelling forward, I grabbed the shadowy figure by the shoulders and threw him over ym shoudlers as I flipped over him, he flew through the air, right at Scarlet. "Scarlet catch!" Just as I guessed, he wore the mask of Death's heir, he was back. And this time out for Scarlet!

I took one long jump and soared over next to Scarlet, "Dammit, my evil twin is back....again." I looked over at Scarlet and saw her holding a wound. I held my hand over it and it glowed bright white, the flesh and muscle knitted back together under my hand as I healed her. "Scarlet, I rememberr some, mostly.....you!" I reached over and hugged her tightly. She didn't know I was myself again but I wnated to see what hse would do anyway.

I shook my head no. "That isn't realy my twin, but rather....well.....the embodiement of my evil, your father." I poked her in the chest, she always hated that, now that she saw me as a stranger she would probably hate it more, "He created that, I was almost named Death's Heir, but you saved me.....does the name Roseblades mean anything to you?" I would hope she would get this, I didn't want to have to pull out her father's head, thats hwo Scotts had cured most of my amnesia.

I shook my head, "Don't worry Scarlet, I just used to study history, you and your fiansai lead quiet extroardinary lives. I'm sorry for your loss." It felt so weird saying such things, but I had to, who knew what she would do if her long dead fiansai was the man she just threatened to kill....twice. I vowed I would keep it quiet till we finished this.

I shrugged, my eyes starring into a far off sad place, "I dont know....I guess because im different too, I was a vampire hunter, hating vampires more than anything else, I sold my soul to a demon just to help along my malice for them.....then I became one....then I learned magiks and became a summoner and now.." I twirled small balls of fire in my hands then let them die out, "now im a deathbringer, I never seem to stay the same for very long, and then I lost my love.....but I think she may be out there still....somewhere. I suppose I could relate to a sad life." I sighed, damn I was being moody!

It took my entire being not to jump forward and help her, my entire body tensed under the soft folds of the assassin's garb, "I'm sorry..."I managed to choke out, she did that for....me?"I might be able to find a way to help you, as I said, I was a summoner, I still remember everything of ebing a master summoner.....there are some things in this world with amazing healing powers, water nymphs, ter'angreal, white dragons too ofcourse....but only if you want." God I wanted to do it without her permission but that would definately give me away, or make her hate me...
