He smiled then wrapped his arms a little tighter around her. "That ring to you is a promise..I will always protect you..always love you...always be there for you. You just have to say my name when I'm not around. I'm kinda like your hero." He kissed her shoulder then slide his arms from around her body. "Are you hungry?"

"There is no kinda," she informed him, matter of factly as she kissed him softly.
"Hungry? I hadn't really thought about it." As he pulled away slightly, there was a small sense of loss, replaced only by the thought that he was here now, and wasn't going anywhere.
"Lunch would be good though."

Aiden thought for a moment about the things he could cook and realized, there was nothing he could cook. He had never thought about cooking anything. He mainly ate things out of the woods and whatever Val decided to cook for him. "Hmm...well I can cook...well if you call fish over a fire cooking then maybe one dish. Want to go out to eat? For real this time?"

The fairy laughed lightly at his comment. "I can cook a little, and prepare meals," referring to salads, or sandwiches that didn't require much cooking, "but I would very much like to go out to eat with you." She smiled and added, "for real this time."

Aiden thought for a moment then looked over at Leilani. "Well let's not go back to that place we went to last night. That waitress was looking at me all funny and stuff." He shivered and picked up Leilani. "Where shall we go my dazzling princess."

Laughing lightly, she said, "They only look at you like that because you're so cute." Patting the side of his face affectionately, she added,"but if you like fish, there are a couple of good restaurants at the port. It's not that far from Cassiopeia, and you can get a good view of the beach."

That stirred Aiden a little. He removed the subject and just hopped off the ledge of the house. "Well seafood it is." He moved the beach more then anything and maybe Leilani knew that.
When he got to the beach he put Leilani on her feet then looked around. He saw fish bait stores, swimming stores, and two little dinners. "Well take your pick, m'lady."

Leilani snuggled happily in his arms as they made their way to the beach; she'd never been carried before, not like this, and she liked it. She felt safe in his arms. When he released her, onto the warm sands before the pier, she looked at the diners. Crab Daddies or Mayflower?
"The Mayflower looks nice," she suggested with a smile. The little white building was the closer of the two, and the closest to the water. If they were lucky, they could get a seat by the window so they could look over the ocean. The water was a little rougher today than it had been the last time they were at the beach, bit it had a dazzling effect on the waves, crashing on the shore.
Looping her arm through his, Leilani smiled up at him as she began the short walk to the restaurant.
"I haven't been here before, either," she said. "I like going new places with you."

Aiden tried to walk forth to the diner but with each step he sank down into the sand. He glared at his feet, wiggling them to get the sand from between his toes. "Maybe I should invest in shoes.." He snorted and ran with all his might through the sand, falling once or twice..or five times till he reached the sidewalk. "You need any help getting through the sea of dirt?"

The half walk, half flutter that Leilani did kept her from sinking too far into the sand, so when he asked her if she needed help, she looked down at her feet, wiggling her toes in the sand.
"No, thank you," she answered, flitting up onto the sidewalk. "I don't think I'd be comfortable in shoes. Though it would keep from tracking sand into the house..." The chandra brushed her feet off before continuing on, not wanting to do the same in the diner.

He copied her, by getting the sand from his feet, then walked ahead of her into the diner. He didn't expect the waitress he did when he walked in. There was one male and female in nothing but jean bras and short shorts. He was tempted to close his eyes. They were all blond and looked to be in their teens. The one with the black hair and green eyes came up and gave Leilani a smile. "Hey darlin', seating for two?"

"Uh, yeah. Nonsmoking, please." Living on the islands for as long as she had, Leilani had seen a few scantily clad women, but she hadn't seen any working. She still smiled, though, polite.

The waitress walked over to a corner spot that sat by a large window, over looking a good part of the beach. "Anything to drink?" She aimed her question at both of them.
Aiden looked at the menu ad shrugged. "Lemonade?"
The waitress giggled and moved her long black hair from her 'Cassie' nametag. "Is that question? If it is I would recommend out lemonade...it's fresh squeezed. Might take me a while to make it though."
Aiden just nodded and turned his menu over to the lunch side.

"I'll have sweet tea, please," Leilani told Cassie as she took the seat across from Aiden, likewise taking a look at the menu. Five star cuisine this was not, but then, the food would probably still be good.
"I'm glad we got a seat by the window," she told Aiden with a smile. "It's got a great view."

Aiden looked out at all the humans in the beach and some chandra there too. "Yea, I think she read my mind about the seats" he looked down at the menu and tried to see what his stomach would be able to handle. Nothing with too much seasoning. "What would you recommend to eat, m'lady?"
