Roger Silverwood Leo walks briskly to a couch near Bennings and takes a seat, looking politely quizzical. "...Leo Argent, am I to assume you're the one who called?" He continued a stoic lenient smile, continuing to inwardly curse at being called away on his day off. Bennings looked surprised. What did it matter who called? "Of course it was me." he answered in an almost violent tone. He was beginning to doubt his source. He sighed afterwords. "Sorry, I've just had a long day for this case." he looked out the window to watch the rain.

Shawn walked towards the two men, flinching at the detectives violent reaction to Leo's question, and simply asked "Why us? What could we add to the investigation?" Now he interested and curious.

Netalia burst into the coffee shop, soaked in rain, and stormed over to where the three men were sitting. "So sorry I'm late sirs. I got caught last second with the phone." Netalia announced, taking off her coat. She proceeded to sit beside Leo. "Sorry about the intrusion, sirs. I'm Netalia, Netalia Furrows." she said, opening a small notebook and retrieving a pencil from the pocket of her coat.

"Sorry, I've just had a long day for this case." he looked out the window to watch the rain. Leo began drumming his fingers absently on the pleather armrest of his couch, and turned to follow the gaze of the detective. "So...what is it you need, eh? Something wrong with the 85-footer? BiLevel? Need a custom job or something? Whatever it is, I'm you're man." He flashed a selling grin toward the man for a moment, before carrying back looking at the skies.

"About time young lady." Bennings smiled as he looked from one to the other. "I was just about to explain that." he sighed as he brought out a file full or report information. "This may take awhile..." he scoffed as he started with the basics.
"Last night, Joanna Fellowes and Harriet Cluthe, both English Majors, were last seen at a party. I got a mysterious contact message saying how I could trust you with helping me on this hard case. We have about 60 hours before it's officially opened to the police, and I was hoping you could jump start my own investigation." Bennings took in a breathe. "They're a Missing Person case right now, so I'm not allowed into their dorm room, but if you three could..." Wink wink. "I'd greatly appreciate it."

A young, slim man of about average height stepped in from the rain, shaking his head before brushing his medium length hair back behind his ears. He wore a cocky grin and strolled up to the table, hands in his jean pockets.
"I'm assuming you were looking to contact Joseph Byrum, my uncle," he said passively, looking about the shop and pulling the sleek, black phone of his uncle's from his pocket, examining the message one last time, "Unfortunately, he's... gone... for the time being. I've been put in his place in the meantime, though - I'm hoping you don't mind."
The young man looked at the other company with a mischievous grin and dropped into a chair, looking between the new faces. He also began to wonder just what it was his uncle did...

"Sounds fun. It'll be entertaining, especially if we get caught." Netalia said, sarcastically. "Although, I'm all for going in if these two are around." she motioned to the two guys. "Don't we have a larger team, though?" she questioned. Netalia tapped her pencil on her notebook and looked over the few notes she had on this case.

"Another one." Bennings noticed as the tall man approached the table. "Well, I see that you guys are all ready. If you could, please fill this new recruit on the way to the apartment." he then turns to speak to the man directly. "Perhaps. But I'm sure you will serve me just as well. If not better." he smiled before standing on his own two feet.
Alright gang. Time to make your way to the apartment ^_^ And, welcome back Zen.

The faux smile he was wearing slid off slowly as the detective came to the end of his proposition. "...you can not be serious" He said, rubbing his temple, feeling a headache coming on. "You must've had the wrong number, sir."

"...I may be able to get us in." Shawn said, sounding a bit shaken up. "I'm friends with the RA of their floor, so I can ask her to let us in. Not sure if it will work though." He began to play with the hilt of his concealed knife again, it was his nervous habit.

"But do you really want to know what would happen if you walked out that door and not go to the appartment? I'd have to arrest you for the theft of confidential documents." He threatened as he held up the files containing the Missing Person's report.

"Damn, I'm late."
Fuming, the young man stomped on his cigarette, and glanced at his watch a second time. By several minutes, he was indeed tardy, and looking up, he could see the Starbucks ahead.
Nathan Powell pushed the door open, and sat at a table. He could see the rest of the group that had been summoned, just a few minutes ago, by phone. His body craved the nicotine dose that had been shortened, but if he hadn't lighten up, he'd be there earlier. Powell cursed mildly under his breath, and got out a notebook and pen to take notes.
((I hope I'm doing this right, but I think I am. XD Oh, and it's a male character because I've never done one before. XD))

Shawn coughed, and repeated himself. "I think I can get us into their rooms. I'm friends with their RA, so I can probably get the master key for a little bit. Its a stretch, but I might be able to do it."

"I would call it 'Using my resources.' " Bennings replied lightly. "So are we going to do this the easy way? Or am I going to have to have a long drive downtown? With you under my arrest." Bennings thought about the other witnesses. He wondered how many he could fit in his car. He wished they would just behave.
That's when he thought of it. "I have access to the room from the Campus authorities." he smiled as he held up a key. "They also described something like a Stone Tablet with odd writing..." he sighed as he attempted to lure.
