Tirsden You know you're old when you say "and knowing is half the battle! *cue GI Joe theme*" and get dead air in a large World Of Warcraft chat channel. OOHHH!!! I can relate to that one!!! You know your old when you not only remember MTV playing music, but you remember the commercial with the astronaut on the moon before it was taken off the air. And Madonna was still doing weird music videos, just with more hairspray and ripped up clothing XP

Little Joni records are way gone......even vinyls. Actually, they're starting to come back (and some bands have kept producing them regardless). I think in part because it is still the best sound, and true music buffs (who are new to the concept of vinyl) are finally realizing it. Digital music is only an approximation. But then I still own a cassette walkman and listen to it occasionally. xp What? I have good music on tape! xd You know you're old when you use the term "whatever they are calling it now" ( case in point).

Miniar You know you're old when you see someone in a M*A*S*H T-shirt, mention that that's an awesome show, and then watch the look of confusion spreading on their face as they have No clue what you're on about. You know you're old when you know the title of the intro-music to M*A*S*H. (Do you know?) Suicide is painless It brings on many changes And I can take or leave it if I please... lol yeah I've had that happen too

lol You know you're old when you can completely and utterly remember the show Reading Rainbow and the first incarnation of the Power Rangers. >_>
EDIT: Oh, and Bill Nye The Science Guy and when Sailor Moon actually first aired on the WB at 8am every weekday, plus, How popular the song Sweet Dreams was in the 80's. (The original song Sweet Dreams done by that grim looking red-haired buzz-cut chick from England.)

You know you're old when you start looking for a wheelchair. You know you're old when you pee, fart, sneeze, and cough at the same time. You know you're old when you don't remember what you had for lunch the day before.

YOU KNOW YOUR OLD WHEN: You mention Roboetch at a anime convention, and some dumbass kid askes "IS THAT LIKE GUNDAM!?" (Note: I had that happen when I was 18, I subsequently explained the history of anime in the states in a nutshell,) When you remember getting up in the morning and catching VOLTRON, Battle of the Planets, Tranzor-Z, Transformers, Robotech (Incase you all havent realized, its one of my favorite series), and various other cartoons. You remember going to an ACTUAL arcade.

you know you're old when you have to explain to someone what an 8-track tape is...
Happened to me a couple weeks ago at the salvation army... I was surprised to see they had 8-tracks, and my niece didn't know what they were...
