Richard cocked his head but smiled at her happiness as she brought him his cup. He nodded his thanks before sipping the coffee black to see how it was. "Heh, you make me out to be some sort of hero..." He laughed a little, knowing he was nowhere near such a title.

"But you are..." There really was no hiding the sadness in her voice. To drive her point home, Lorey sat right in front of him and tried to meet his eyes. "You really are a hero to me, Richard. You came to comfort me when I was hurt and alone, then you showed me a wonderful night out... and then you carried me, dozing away, to a safe place where I could really sleep for once. If that's not being a hero, then I must have a terrible misconception."

Richard rubbed his neck but stopped quickly, realizing his habit. "It was the right thing to do...ecspecially for such a jem as yourself...." He said modestly, looking down at his cup with a quiet smile. It was strange to have someone look up to him as a 'hero'. He was used to being spit on and looked down upon, ecspecially when he left the force.

"Well... this gem appreciates being found and polished up." Lorey was feeling rather impulsive already, but seeing as her past little endeavors had gone over well, she went right on with her next idea. When he had his hand posed just so with the mug somewhat out of the way, Lorey slipped forward and wrapped her arms around his middle in a hug.

Richard let out a surprised, yet quiet "oh" as he set the mug down and looked down. With a smile, he placed his hand on her head affectionately and brought her in tighter with the other. He was surprised to find someone as wonderful as her, ecspecially here on Veratia. Richard took this as a sign that things would hopefully go smoothly from now on, though he knew better.

And yet again, it just worked. Everything felt so safe and warm there that it was a moment before she even broke the silence.
"I'm out of my apartment now," she whispered. "I did that this morning, too. Said goodbye to it all." A thought that had been bothering her surfaced. Since Richard had a ship, would he be leaving Veratia? She certainly didn't want to say good bye to him.

There was a slight rustle and rather unusual groan that came from a set of moving sheets that held Deilita in a death grip which seemed to try and hold him in a peaceful slumber. But since the Warmth of the sun had awaken him, Deilita began to move about slowly, first moving the sheets off of him to notice that he was asleep alone, then sitting up and hearing voices that weren't Vidori's. This struck him as peculiar, especially since he didn't know who or what had gotten in his room and was....cooking?
"What in the hell is goin on...?" Deilita's soft voice sounded a bit growly and low as he mumbled to himself while making his way out of the main bedroom and out to the small living room that both Richard and Lorelee were in. When Deilita saw this, he was slightly confused, but he didn't mind however, although it was hard to tell from the morning glare he had on his face from the bright sun outside. "When did you guys get here? Vi let you all in?" Deilita asked in his groggy voice.

Lorey let go of Richard with a gasp, as if she had been caught doing something wrong.
"Oh! Uh..." A few mumbles later and with a brilliant blush, Lorey had stood up to face the sleepy Deilita. "Yes! Yes, Vi let us in. See..." Well, what better way to explain the situation than to just be out with it?
"I've been barred from all hopes of future employment, Richard found me in a time of desperation, we had a great night, then he was beat up defending my honor, and after all was said and done, we had no place to go, came here and... I'd like to take that job you were talking about yesterday." Lorey finished her ramble with a big, awkward grin. "Oh, and there's food."

Richard was a bit annoyed that that their perfect moment had been soiled, but he let it go. He stood as Lorey explained their evening, feeling a little bit as gallant as she thought he was. It was the first time he had noticed the food, for his stomach rumbled from the lack of dinner foam yesterday. He wanted to thank her or say something sweet, but kept quiet with Deilita around. That's when a thought hit him..."Where is Vidori anyway? And Enty? ...I Don't recall them returning last night..." He asked, a tad concerned.

Lorey looked around as if they would suddenly pop out of the woodwork.
"No, they didn't come back." Her brow furrowed at the thought that something might have happened to them. "Maybe they just spent the night wherever they went to?"

Delita held his chin for a moment before walking to the bathroom without saying a word and closing the door behind him. He figured he would shower first before he would plan anything. After taking off his clothing, the sound of the shower starting to run could be heard even outside while he stepped in the shower itself and began to began to bath himself for the morning.
After about thirty minutes, the shower was turned off and Deilita was back out wearing just his pants while drying his hair with a towel at the same time. Eventually, he threw the towel on the bed he was sleeping on and sighed. "Well, I'm gonna go to where Vi and Enty might be. Oh, I'll call Harry and ask him about that job for you. If I know Harry, he won't be giving you a position as a janitor or some other cleaning job, he's been using robots for that. But anyways, if you guys want to come with me, then be my guest. If not, then you two have some fun together, eh?" He was kidding about the last part, but it would have to be caught since his tired eyes didn't give away the fact that he was joking. As he slowly walked towards the exit of the room, he grabbed his shirt off of a nearby chair and put it on. And with that, he was out of the room, and making his way down to the first floor of the hotel.

Richard rubbed the back of his neck at Deilita's comment. Though he left before Richard could shoot back a response. "Ah, I'm sure Enty and Vi just went to work on my ship's engine...no big deal. Knowing Enty, he probably lost track of time and they're probably still working....We'll check on 'em after awhile...." He reasoned, standing and stretching slightly as he inhaled deeply. "Something smells amazing...is that bacon?" He asked curious, spotting the small spread that Lorey had provided. "You're the best." He smiled at her kindly.

She smiled at his thanks.
"It is! And there are eggs, pancakes, orange juice, a few waffles, I think... sausages, and... oh, they even gave us toast! Along with butter and all that." Lorey nearly skipped over to the table where it all sat. "Here, take a plate," she said, handing him one without a chip. "Take what you want first..."

Richard chuckled a bit, taking a seat, though hoping she would join him. "It all looks delicious. Thank you for taking such good care of me." He said with a bit of humor behind his voice. It seemed the tables had turned from him helping her out last night, to her caring for him today. He humbly took a little bit pf everything, making sure he left some for her and the others. It had been a long while since he had had a decent meal, and this looked good.

Once he was taken care of, Lorey took a seat next to him and began getting her own food.
"Of course. I couldn't just let you lay there in pain... and I won't let you go hungry now." A small blush came to her cheeks as she remembered kissing her thumb and pressing it to his cheek only hours before. Had he felt that? Their latest hug was also making her heart race a bit. How she wanted to hug him again, to make him feel at ease with himself.
