Lorey walked out of the room to find Richard and Enty. After calming herself down a bit, it was like nothing had happened, and nothing showed to the contrary.
Once she found them navigating, she was about to say a good morning, but stopped once she saw the stars and the vastness of space.
It made her nearly stop her breathing. How small she was, compared to all of that.
"Is this what you've seen for so long?" she asked, putting a hand on his shoulder.
Damian didn't wake for quite some time, but when he did, he gave a stretch. Stretching, giving little noises as his muscles gave into being awake and then...
plunk.
He fell right out of the cot. Needless to say, it scared him right to his senses. His ribs gave a painful jab, and somehow, Damian couldn't have felt better.

Richard looked up at her with a smile. He had forgotten Lroey ahd never been in space before. "It's beautiful isn't it..." He sighed stanidng to kiss her. He kept one arm around her waist as he gazed out at the vast darkness sprinkled with stars.
Raquel jumped a mile but found herself laughing hysterically a she leaned over to make sure he was ok. Her soft giggles didn't calm down even as she reached a hand down to rest on his head. "well good morning to you too..I think..." She sighed smiling so contently as she just kept trying to stop her little chuckles.

"It is..." Lorey gave him a squeeze before taking a step back to look at him.
"You seem sleepy," she said, turning her head to the side a bit. "Can I get you coffee, or anything? And is there anything I can do around here?"
Truth be told, she would go crazy if she didn't feel needed. Not having a job was only proving to her how much she was a creature of structure and schedule.
Damian was sitting right on his behind still, slightly dazed. But he started laughing, too.
"How did we fit two people on that cot?" he asked, hoisting himself up to his knees to bring his elbows resting upon the bed. "And how are you feeling?"
There was such a lightness within him then. Living in the now, Damian could be happy. He could forget everything that had happened, and just focus on Raquel, because he loved her.

Richard looked around at the slightly dirty shop, forgetting it had been at least a few months since they had used the poor thing. "I think we have some coffee and whatnot in the kitchen...its a small room back near the storage area....hm...I had better see if the others even bothered cleaning up the med supplies while we're at it...I'll go with you." He smiled, loving the idea of a cup of coffee.
Raquel smiled amorously at him as she attempted to sit up, the blankets covering her slipping down, revealing her still mostly bare body. She looked down at her wound which seemed to be turning the bandage a bit red here and there as the blood attempted to soak through. She grimaced a little, sighing. "Better....just a little sore." She gave him a smile, feeling almost high from the sheer joy she felt around him. Just knowing someone cared about her...let alone someone like Damian...It made her head spin.

Lorey told herself that she would clean the ship, from top to bottom, just for him. With her cleaner's eye, she could see everything that had to be done. But that could wait. First, she had to make sure that Richard was taken care of. And herself, of course.
Once in the back, Lorey dug out some packets of coffee and began to fashion them both mugs of the hot beverage.
"Have you slept at all?" she asked over her shoulder, doing her very best not to spill a drop as she poured his first.
Damian looked at the wound, and then at her... but quickly diverted his eyes to her wound.
"Do you have--" Clothing, he wanted to ask. But of course she didn't. No one but Lorey had the foresight to gather anything.
Without hesitation, Damian began unbuttoning his own shirt, hoping it wasn't too unclean for her to wear.
Once it was tugged off, he gingerly set himself behind her to help her maneuver it on.
"Here, so you can be a little decent... and warmer. I'll get you new things once we get to wherever it is we're going, alright?"

Richard sighed at the mess Damian and Raquel had left as he shoved some of the left over supplies back into the small box from which is had come. "A bit...just a quick nap here and there...I'm fine though, really." He called over his shoulder, realizing with a grim frown that there was blood everywhere as well. He managed to wipe most of it away, even throwing away the bullet from Raquel's stomach before realizing among the trash on the floor, and a soiled dress, was a mostly empty bottle of vodka. "Oh you've got to be kidding me! Enty you had to give them this?!" He growled over his shoulder to Enty who sputtered out an excuse from the cockpit. Richard sighed. It was a very expensive Vodka he had received as a gift from an old friend. Though he tried to think positively, at least it wouldn't be around for him to drink...which was bittersweet in itself.
Raquel's pale face turned a light pink as Damian shrugged his shirt off, then even more so when he sat behind her, his body inches from hers. She tried hard to act as if it were nothing but she couldn't fight the slight red that was slowly working its way up to her ears. When Damian eased the shirt around her, she slipped her arms through, already realizing it would be just long enough to provide her with some decency as he had said. Though once she had it around her, she brought the collar close to her face, trying to be subtle as she took in his scent from his old shirt. She smiled lightly, not looking back at him. "T-thank you..." She said softly, buttoning the shirt up to give her more coverage. "But you really don't need to buy me anything more...I'm sure I can just borrow clothes or something. You've done more than enough for me so far..."

Lorey listened to him rummaging about with a little smile upon her face. He did need help around here, and she could give it to him.
"Richard, do you have an incinerator on board? I'll be doing some cleaning and things to help out."
In just the way Lorey said the words, there was no arguing. She needed a purpose, and by the skies they sailed through, she would have it.
He kissed her neck lightly before giving her shoulders a hug. The rest of her, he was too scared to touch for fear of hurting her again.
"No, you need things of your own. Clothes are the basics." Damian also noted how she would need shoes, pants, a blanket... better than the one she had here. But there was one thing she needed right then that he could give her.
"I love you," he whispered with a smile he hadn't worn since he had last seen her awake, which seemed like ages.

Richard wanted to give her anything she asked at the moment. So he wouldn't argue even if he wanted her to relax and not work. "I think we o...actually I'm positive...though where it is...I'm not so sure..." He chuckled more to himself as he joined her in the 'kitchen'. "Just...don't overwork yourself ok? and take it easy with your injuries..."
Raquel sighed with a happy little content moan as she touched his arm gingerly, turning her head to get a glimpse of him. "Thank you...for everything..." She mumbled, feeling as if her voice wouldn't work properly right then.

"I will, I will!" she said, laughing as she handed him his mug. "They're getting better every day. Just like me."
She just had to keep telling herself that. She was getting stronger, and healthier. Happier, too, she told herself, because of Richard. He was so wonderful to her that this was how she wanted to repay him.
Damian stole a kiss as she turned her head.
"Thank you for putting up with me and for saving us all." His refined senses could detect coffee coming from somewhere... which sounded like a good idea, once he attuned his mind to the lesser qualities of what this ship could carry. "Are you hungry?"

Richard gave her a smile, content with that answer. He wrapped his arms around her carefully, kissing her sweetly. "I'm so glad you're mine..." He said softly in her ear as he gently moved a bit of her hair behind her ear.
Raquel let her gaze drop, not feeling that his words were true. But she tried to hide this as she thought about food. "Hm...actually no, I'm not really..." She said honestly. She never seemed to be hungry. It was simply how she conditioned herself growing up.

Lorey smiled, so brightly. She loved hearing him say that. She needed to hear it.
"Mm, I love you... I'm so glad you found me. Or maybe I found you, who knows." Lorey pulled back a bit so she could plant a big kiss right on the lips. For some reason, she was so... chipper. So happy then. Maybe it was knowing they were going someplace new, where no one knew them, or that she would have something to do with her time now. Whatever it was, Lorey was happy, and kissing him made her even more so.
"Alright then, if you're sure."
Damian wouldn't fight her on that. If she was fine, then she was fine. He had to start believing her on that.
In the little silence, he wrapped her up in her blanket once more, tucking her in here and there. Even though he still regretted with all his heart using that gun, he knew he could make up for it in little ways for as long as they were together.

Richard chuckled a little. "We found each other..." He said with a small smile as he pressed his forehead against hers. Just having her near him like this, with seemingly no worries was just....amazing.
Raquel Sighed, leaning back into him slightly. "Damian...can I ask you something?" She inquired, , shifting herself so that she was sitting sideways, still touching him but so she could see his face. "Have...hm...Have you ever...well been in love before?" She asked, like an innocent child asking a question on something she knew nothing about. She looked down at the bed, picking at a loose thread on the blanket before looking back up at him.

She kissed his nose. It was an immediate reaction whenever they were that close.
"So, where are we going?" she asked. "Someplace far away? And what will we see there?"
Lorey could forget about her coffee, and cleaning, just to be with him.
It was a very good question. He had thought he had loved Lorey, but... it was a silly thing. Love was never silly, though. But what he had felt for Lorey was something more of a fancy rather than a serious commitment.
"I am going to say yes and no. Though I know that is a terrible answer." He knew that much. Rethinking with his forehead against the top of her head, Damian gave a better one.
"In a different way, I have been."

Richard smiled, blushing a little. "We're going to spend a few days at Enty's home planet...Altru...its a beautiful little tropical planet...a bit small and a bit primitive in parts but..overall not too bad...We should be there just for a little while until I'm sure we're safe from Sveriana..." He noted wit ha sigh, kissing the top of her head.
Raquel seemed to nod, trying to understand. "...D-does it ever go away? Like after you decide you don't want to anymore? or...I'm sorry that's a silly question..." She sighed, annoyed with herself.

"Tropical?" Lorey didn't bring any kind of swim suit or anything with her for tropical weather, which from what she understood was very hot and humid, but people still liked it. "Sounds lovely..."
Though the real loveliness was right in front of her. Lord, she thought, how silly they must sound and look to everyone else. But it didn't matter, because it simply didn't.
"I think I'll start with this little area right here," she said, now thinking of cleaning. "And then go around the halls... wash windows, all that fun stuff. And everything will be shining, just you watch."
"I'll answer any question, no matter how silly you think it might be."
Even if it meant some serious searching within himself to do it. Damian thought about Lorey... mostly about the days they really thought they knew each other in the Ballroom. A part of him still thought she was beautiful, and sweet-tempered. How could he answer her question?
"You never decide that you don't want to love someone any more. Things just... happen. And soon enough you find that they are all you can think of, or act for. It all comes back to that one person, no matter how much you want to carry on with your life. I know that I will always love you, for example, because I have never met anyone like you in all of Veratia. You possess a strength and beauty unlike anyone else, and your spirit has captivated me like none other. That is how I know."
