Judas shrugged. "I suppose I'm fine with either. I am getting a bit hungry, though." He looked around the classroom. "I have to agree with you, though. Anywhere without him is perfectly fine with me."

Moira smiled at the younger boy and said, "We should picnic! I used to do it all the time with my little brother. I rather miss it." She smoothed her hair back from her face, cursing her ability to yet again lose her hair tie.

Judas nodded. "A picnic sounds fantastic." He frowned, trying to think. "I've never been on a picnic, I don't believe. My mother always thought they were too dirty." He shrugged. His mother's cleanliness had become law in his home. He was used to restrictions at this point.

Moira's eyes widened. "N-never? Oh Judas! That settles it. We are going to have a picnic. Oh gosh, never. I just, never? I don't..never. Well. Ok! We need to get some things then!" Moira could barely comprehend what he had said. She gave a smile and headed towards the door.

Judas laughed. "Yes, well, I suppose I am a tad bit sheltered." He followed Moira out. "I'm excited, though. It always sounded fun." ((Meet you in the "By the Lake" thread?))

Moira laughed with the Slytherin, excited to share in his first picnic. "It IS fun! You'll see!" ((Sure thing!))

ooc: wow, looks like I might still make it for this lesson, I think... (despite name still not on rooster...)
Kathos had been somewhat in the back off the room working quietly on his neatly set up table. He had ignored the usual banter or chitchat his fellow schoolmates were having as they worked, if fact he practically all but tuned out his careful thoughts and calculations as he worked on the task at hand. He liked potions, even out of the fact he was required to do well in it by family expectation he still liked the working, chopping, gushing, mixing, careful turns of the ladle, as well as the sounds and smells of the very potions and ingredients.
He had already let the water boil slowly as he lightly crushed some moonstone on the side. Once the water had began to boil nicely, he had added in the Bounce Leaf, watching the water as it changed from it's clear texture to the green mixture it was required as per both the text and blackboard stated, as well as his memory as he recalled former lessons at home.
Having crushed now a spoon full worth of moonstone, he slowly added bit by bit of the crushed power like moonstone into the cauldron with his right hand while the left hand stirred slowly and calmly counter-clockwise. He kept that pace until all of the moonstone was added and stirred in well into the green mixture.
After having completed that stage, with his free hand he picked up some Essence of Euphoria and added enough until the mixture became the correct tone of yellow requested, shame it had to be such a color, being he preferred darker tones.
Kathos began to mentally count down the stirs as he stirred the ladle clockwise, 17, 16, 15, 14... and so on until all seventeen stirs were completed. He left his work area momentarily and obtained a empty sea-glass vial. Picking up the ladle, Kathos carefully and neatly poured a bit of the mixture into the glass vial, closing and labelling it neatly. He then glanced about discreetly before casting a 'Geminio' on the sea-glass vial, in thus producing a carbon twin which he in turn slipped into his robe pocket before cleaning up his work area.
