"With that, should we find some shelter. I'm afraid that mine is a tad small for your body..." She said, dropping off. "We could try over there." She added, pointing to her right with her quivering silver nose.

Monroe saw the place that the kit was gesturing towards, she spotted a barely noticeable indentation in the ground. "I'll go check it out, stay some distance behind me." She heaved herself up and cautiously approached the spot, for all she knew a dangerous animal or some hostile fox may reside there.
Up close, Roe noticed that the den was dug up by a prior inhabitant and seemed deserted. It was also well covered by a patch of flowers."Hello?" A stupid idea it was, calling down into some unidentified den, but it had an unoccupied feel to it and she received no answer, "I'm gonna go check inside, okay?" She looked over at Riima.

"Oh, okay." She replied crestfallen. "I'll hide in that bush," and with that she walked over and crawled underneath a small bush.

Monroe placed each step carefully, just in case. The passage ran down about ten feet and opened up to a cozy circular hollow. She sniffed around, every scent musty from age. 'This will do!' She surfaced and walked up to Riima was hiding, "It seems fine to me! Although a bit stale..." She wrinkled her nose, "Lets gather some flowers and herbs to make it pleasant."

"Okay," Riima replied, struggling out of her hiding place. "What kinds?" She asked walking over to Monroe.

"It would be excellent if we could get some mint leaves and a bit of lavender, since Luna Grove is so floral, it would also conceal our own scents and the aroma will be heavenly! Not to mention how your minty coat fits in!" Monroe motioned to a cluster of stemmed plants not too far off from where they were located, "There's some mint!"

"Okay, I'll get some," Riima said walking towards the aforementioned plant and took some sprigs into her mouth. "Is this enough?" She asked once she got back to Monroe.

Monroe nodded approvingly at Riima's effort, "Yes, that's just the right amount! Do you think you can go down there by yourself and set it down or would you like me to join you? There's no danger, I checked, but it's a bit dark."

"Sure," she replied through her mouthful mint. She padded over to the den and crept down. Once she got to the bottom she spread it out, now it smelt nice. "I'll just stay down here." She called loudly up the tunnel.

"Alright! I'll be right back with some lavender!" Monroe called down. She didn't await a response and rushed off in search of the fragrant plant. It took her a few minutes to pick up the delightful smell and followed it to an exquisite lavender bush. Sparing no time for admiration, she picked some lavender and hurried back to the den.

Riima waited patiently in the bottom of the den. She circled a few times to make an indentation to sleep in. Smelling the mint she smiled happily.

It was getting darker, nearing twilight. Monroe lowered herself into the den and set a couple sprigs of lavender on both sides of the entrance. It took her a moment to spot Riima among the alike colored leaves that surrounded her on the floor.

Riima had already fallen asleep snuggled down into the mint. She was dreaming of fish again and strange colored foxes. Mumbling, she flipped over onto her back and started flapping her paws in the air.

Monroe, having traveled the entire previous night and slept half the day, had her sleeping schedule off so she didn't feel tired. As the light grew dimmer still, Roe observed Riima in her sleep.

Soon enough Riima woke up again. She was confused. "Where am I?" She asked Monroe sleepily. Then it came back to her. "Never mind, in a den right?" She added, brightening up.
