Proudly_Jewish ...you make mistakes in English because you're constantly thinking in French. domokun (for example, you say "the" more often than is required in English because that's what it's like in French, and you say "give me it" instead of "give it to me" because learning about such sentence structures in French has messed up your understanding of English ninja ) LOL...yet another coincidence. **When you can spell better in Spanish than in English. (It's so much easier though!) 3nodding

Vyethi You listen to radio in that lanaguage, more so than your own. lucky bum! crying if only we had French radio here in English-speaking parts of Canada... crying crying crying @Raquelita - I know what you mean... xd ...when you decide that you will spend 3 or more hours a day studying one single language, every day, even on holidays/vacations/when you're ill. domokun

When you invent a written language with one of your friends, then try to learn the language from Final Fantasy X to have confusing conversations with your sister. I want to do that...

That's odd. neutral Well, they do, but only in areas where there are large amounts of French-speaking people, like in Quebec. As far as I know there's no French radio station in Toronto, seeing as how only 0.001% of the population here speaks French and the few who do speak it, speak it as a 2nd or 3rd language, not first cry where art thou, mine precious French peoples... cry

Proudly *coff coff* ...when the dictionary that you've been using for 4 years looks like it's been used for more than 10 because of the frequency at which it's used. domokun ...you listen to music in more than 6 languages. domokun

...sentences such as "Me, I like better the cats." are a normal part of your English as a result of studying other languages. domokun

Yup. smile Things like that happen to me with English, usually. Speaking English has become such a natural thing to do, I don't even notice when I do it. When you watch a movie that speaks a foreign language and has subtitels in another foreign language, and you can understand both.
