Razu's eyes softened. He stood up and sat next to Layna. He reached out and pulled her into a tight hug,"I don't think it as your fault but as my own selfishness. When I get happy and content something always happens to screw it up. That's how I got here...though now I'm happy that happened. I will help protect Gabriel as well as you. I sweared to it and I'll stick with it."

Layna whimpered into his shoulder, hugging her body close to him. Razu was so kind...so warm. "You don't realize how much this means..." Though it struck her hard to know that someone would protect her, she was adoring it. She leaned up and gently nuzzled his cheek, truly content.

Razu nuzzled back, truely content but that's where it all comes to hell.
The door slammed open showing Konstantin slumped on the opposite wall and Shenai laying on her side. In the door frame was someone who Razu never expected to see. His face paled drained of all color. Fear all over Razu's face. Fear and sadness.
The figure in front of them had burning red eyes and his hair in a wild yet tamed way. His clothes were the same since Razu last saw them in the city. The voice was growly as he spoke,"Surprised to see me Rasheed Mazura?"
Razu asked whispering gripping Layna to him as he picked up Gabe and holding him to his body as well,"How is this possible?"

Layna blinked, and felt her hackles raise as she stared at the figure. She felt a storm of emotion snatch at her mind, daring if at all for the man to get closer. She wouldn't ever let someone get close to her son who she suspected was hostile. "Who is this...?" She whispered softly.

Razu handed Gabe to Layna and stood up,"He is someone I thought I killed." His face twisted into a mask of insane hatred. "Lucife lets take this to the place where it should of've ended."
Lucife held a hand up,"Wait Razu. Is this your pretty new mate? and your son? When did you aquire them? After you 'Killed' me?"
Razu snarled,"That is none of your buisness!"
Lucife shrugged,"I just wanted to say hi to your pretty mate and to say congrats. You know. As your old best friend."
Razu moved swiftly lifting Lucife and throwing him out of the window. Razu jumped down after him landing on top of Lucife.

Layna was whimpering softly as she watched him jump out the window. What was going on? She was utterly confused. Who was this Lucife? She whimpered once more and quickly scrambled to the window sill to stare downward at where they had fallen. Gabriel let out a cry, unsure what to think.

Razu punched Lucife in the gut before being thrown off. Razu landed on his feet and quickly threw poisoned needles towards Lucife following through with a dagger.
Lucife knocked away the needles with disdain and drew his sword out stabbing Razu in the gut.
Razu dropped his dagger in a state of pain. He leaned on Lucife sliding to his knees gasping with pain.
Lucife glanced up to see Layna,"Hey Razu you shoulda said good-bye to your mate and son before you died. Well you'll get to see them when I send them after you. Aren't I nice? I'm gonna send them after you when I make sure you're dead. Which is what I am going to do differently then what you did when you thought you killed me."
Razu's face froze before taking on an inhumane look. He snarled standing up,"You will NEVER touch them!" Razu touched Lucife and sucked him dry of his energy and life using the life energy to push the sword out and heal his wound. When Lucife was out of his life for good this time Razu stummbled against the building breathing heavily. His face was still a pasty white.

Layna whimpered, pacing in front of the window, her eyes wide with worry. "Razu....Razu..." She continued to whine. She found this horrible, and hard to actually think about. Razu was hurt, he was hurt, she knew it. She felt ready to leap out the window herself and run to him.

Razu sighed and ran a hand over his face and felt it was close to transofrming. He took a deep breath closing his eyes trying to gain control over his rampant emotions. Once controlled he climbed the stairs up to his apartment and opened the door.

When Layna heard the door, she ran helter skelter from the room, and threw her arms around Razu, her hands checking for injuries. Her eyes were wide, afraid. But she wasn't afraid for the known reason. She was afraid to be alone and without someone who cared for her.

Razu blinked and said gently,"I'm ok." Razu's voice hardened with Hatred," He's dead for good this time. I made sure of it. He won't harm you guys ever!"

Layna blinked, and raised her eyes to his face. He had been protecting them. A glisten of missing light seemed to shine in Layna's eyes. She slapped his arm, and growled. "I can take care of myself." She said with a stubborn air. She crossed her arms and stalked off, holding back a laugh in the back of her throat. She felt suddenly lighter than she had the whole night.

Razu said insistantly,"But if you ever needed me I'd be there to help you! Please note that I didn't interfer when that girly kidnapped you. I figured you could handle yourself more then Jaden could at that time! Girl you're more tough then I am I think!"

Layna flicked a nonexistent tail and looked back at Razu, an eyebrow raised. She pounced forward, throwing him gently, though carelessly to the ground, and sat upon his chest. Her nose tickled his as she growled softly. "Is that so?" She whispered, her grey eyes staring into his.
