"Well, in all honesty, camp > wilderness..."
Asakura mused, ignorant of the anomaly she had created by actually pronouncing a '<', then glanced over her shoulder.
"Hey, she is indeed. Ohayo, sensei!"
Despite her great strength, she still couldn't deny the up-pulling effect one got when holding hands with someone who stood up. Unknowingly she still kept his hand clasped in hers; her mechanisms had locked temporarily, or so would be her excuse. The light, the air, the beauty, the people-
-How beautious mankind is! Oh what brave new world, that has such people in'it!-
Within this bliss, this reverie, this golden glow, the mecha girl couldn't help but smile, the kind of smile you only got from being high on happiness. The life of sterilised needles and scalpels seemed as far away as the moon that began to rise as the sun sunk.

((Heh heh, flirting isn't that hard... its sort of an unconscious thing... at least for me...))
Sally blinked, but sighed. Alone again. She went to toss her trash away, and began to move towards her tent.

Matt's face turned crimson, not only had he forgotten to let go. But it looked like she didn't want to. He tried to slip his hand free but her grip was to snug. He hadn't held hands with anyone for a long time. It was refreshing, but he felt like he was betrying his long lost love...Even though she never loved him.

((I was just putting it in Rin's perspective; she's very clingy. >.>))

Crystal watched and felt her heart warmed as Asakura had been able to cheer up Matt for a bit. Then, she was spotted behind the tree. Great; she never was good at hide and seek.

"Yeah yeah, in a minute; you two go on ahead." the young lady said cheerfully, then sighed, her mood suddenly agiated by the boy. Great; first she runs all the way out here and leaves her food behind, and the kid is fine and dandy. BUt her foooood, and Benny was still NOT here; she was gonna kill him! And Matt didn't HAVE to point it out like she was an idiot.....oh well.

She sat down by the tree and looked up at the sky; it was nice out, she had to admit.

"Let's go, Matt-san!"
Asakura began to bound off, only to finally draw her attention to their hands. The mecha girl, in accordance to her sunset-orange hair that placed her a 'redhead', flushed, her pale skin pinkening through pastel to a delicate shade of fuschia.
"A-a, gomen nasai!"
She untangled her fingers from his, digits moving slightly jerkily as the mechanisms pulled themselves together. She didn't seem too embarassed though, and she kept smiling. Asakura leaped neatly onto a nearby stump, a breeze taking her scruffy mane and exploding it out behind her head.

His glum and dark emotion returned..."You scaring me Asakura-san." Matt walked past her, hanging her head low like always.. At least he wasn't crying any more. He wasn't sure if she was behind him or not. But he walked along the camp grounds and made his way back to the dining area. "I hope you don't mind if I join you...I'll be quite.." He said to Rin, ignoring Ken. He sat down beside Rin and put his head on the table. He wasn't sure if Rin was still mad or annoyed by him.

((Good point!))

Kalli flopped on a bed, not caring if it was hers or not. She hummed sympathetically to herself. The first real conversation she'd had in a long time and the boy ran off. That was room to mope. She'd spoken more with him than her last friend (who lasted about a week before exploding and exclaiming, "SAY SOMETHING TO ME!"). She was really hoping she'd got it right that time...

The last statement the boy said before he left poleaxed Asakura. She made no effort to follow him, and it was slightly disturbing to watch her normally bright face crumple. Scary? Her brow wrinkled in confusion as she stared at the loamy ground, contemplating this. What did she do wrong? Her fist flexed, mechanics whirring. She'd have to check on that.
The robot stared at her hand. It caused a lot of this trouble, didn't it? She glared at it, then bounded off into the forest, following the trail of mained trees back to the camp grounds. Asakura hesitated on the edge of the food area, but returned to her tray a little more subdued. The hamburgers and potatoes were almost cold now, but she wolfed them down nonetheless. There were some things she still needed to do this evening.

Having finished off her last burger and scraped the plate clean of whatever food was left, washing it down with the last dregs of her soda, she leaped up from the table, bowing to the people sitting.
"I'm sorry Rin-chan, Ken-san, Matt-san... I have to be going..."
Setting her tray and things down with a clatter at the disposal, Asakura bounded off, heading towards to the cabin dorms. Busting the door down, she made a straight beeline to her bed and things, stalking right by the girl that lay on a nearby bed. She grabbed her messenger bag, the familiar clink of tools a soothing melody, and as soon as she entered she left, legs carrying her away from the camp campus.
Okay, assessment: required, a secluded place to fix and test... I won't tell people about my current state in case, like Matt, they find it scary...
The trees around her thinned out to a rocky outcrop that almost grew out of the ground up in front of her, sunwarmed rocks a faded grey lined with white. They overlooked the lake, a beautiful flat disc of sky wedged between mountains and forest, and Asakura knew, now.
It's... perfect...
Jinking from rock to rock, Asakura made it to the top of the outcrop fairly easily, and to her suprise found it was smooth and flat at the top, roughly circular and not unlike a stage. The mecha girl claimed it instantly, and flopped down to get to work. The bandages that normally encased her circuts she wound of, and, selecting a screwdriver, she began to tune her internal systems.

Rin and Ken had greeted both returnees, glad to see that they were both back safe and in one piece. However, Rin noticed the sudden difference in emotions; Matt seemed very quiet and almost nervous, and Asakura didn't look so great herself. Something had happened to the two; she KNEW she should have followed! But she also noted Crystal's lack of returning, but merely kept this at the back of her head.

But before Rin could ask the girl what was troubling her, or make ANY sort of coversation like she was looking foward to, Asakura wolfed down her food and suddenly left, and in quite a hurry. As if she were uncomfotable about something......what did Matt say to her?! For some reason she was still irritated at him, though she knew not why. She followed with her sole eye as Asakura left; for some reason she wanted to know more about her. For her expression almost matched one Rin was used to making.

Ken also noted the sudden mood changes, so was too nervous despite his usual cheerfulness to say anything. He merely ate his food quietly, but could sense Rin's sudden distress, but not sure what it was for.

Rin finished her food and got up, throwing her stuff away before turning to the two boys. "I'm gonna go ahead and head back to the cabin." she said, and Ken nodded. She then went out of the picnic area and started walking back to the cabin, going very slow and felt better now that she was out of that tight air.

As she returned to the cabin, she was sort of disappointed to see that there was no stuff from the girl Asakura, and the only one there was the Kalli girl from before. She sighed; did that mean she was not going to stay ehre, or was she not a camper at all? Or did she just not have alot of things in yet? Why was Rin even caring so much about the girl, anyways? It could be any option, and Rin's head already hurt to begin with.

"Aw, are we thinking too hard, widdle Winny?"

"Just can it, Sakura, will ya?" she mumbled to her shoulder; great, Sakura was back. Could this get ANY worse?

"TOLD you it wasn't gonna go well? Didn't I tell you not to trust that Matt kid? Ten bucks says he said something awful to her! Maybe even made her suicidal!"

"Quit it, you ol' bat..." Rin mumbled again as she went to look for her ipod, but Sakura did not leave, and kept floating around.

"Oh yeah, she's probably off somewhere cutting off her circutry and shutting herself down permanently, being robot and all. Too bad she'll never know you actually wanted to talk to her, being the same with being freaks and all-"

"SHUT UP, SAKURA! ShutupshutupshutupshutupshutUP!"

Rin suddenly grabbed the bat by the neck, throwing onto the bed and began beating it with her book in rage. While it would look to one she was trying to kill a invisible bug, Rin stopped for a moment and realized that she might have woken up hte sleeping girl. She grabbed her IPod and ran out of the cabin, leaving the bat demon squished under hte book.

"Mmmrff..."

She went outside, and began walking around, trying to use her music to calm herself down. Did she just actually defend this girl too? Oh man, what was going ON? And she didn't even know why...

Ken looked to Matt as he finished eating his food. "You alive?" he asked the boy.

"Uh yeah, I'm alive...Ken, I get the feeling somethings wrong with Rin...I can just feel it in the back of my mind... I'll be back later." Matt got up and raced over to the girls cabin. His eyes darted around and he spotted Rin running.

He insantly ran at her and tapped her on the shoulder. 'Rin..." He huffed and huffed, she was pretty damn fast. "Are you okay? I keep getting this strange feelign that your not.."

Something woke Lizzie up. She murmured softly, grabbing her pillow. She dragged the pillow out of the cabin with her, following the girl. She saw Matt and stopped. She rubbed her eye childishly, watching in silence.

"Mrrrrrfff!!! Ow...........gua.......can't....break.....free........DANG WOMAN! Arugh...." Sakura finally sighed, the book still on top of her. She wasn't getting out anytime soon.

Ken followed Matt, but watched from a hidden distance, in a tree. He couldn't help but sigh in fustration at the boy's poor tatics; he was going about this all wrong! Well......maybe he was thinking this cause he was her brother, and therefore knew most to all of her symptoms and what they mean. Usually, walking about blasting music into her ears meant "stay away for a bit while I cool off or I'll bite off your head"; a hard one to read and Matt would most likely die if he didn't figure it out soon. But still, one would think it was obvious....

But why WAS Matt caring so much about Rin? He knew nothing about her, other than that they had the same issue, but Rin had so many more, as well as bad experiences with people. One would think that the cruelty of a woman's gossip would've been worse, but turns out the men had let their idiotic genes shine brightly and had evened the playing field, just in a different way. Bullying with girls at least left you without physical wounds, not the same for men. Ken watched in interest, but was poised in case he had to jump and save on of the two-er, three out there from another.

Pratically trying to drown herself in her Ipod music to soothe her nerves, it was no suprise that upon the boy's arrival and a tap on the shoulder, Rin jumped about three feet into the air in fear before turning to the boy, her face still having a hint of rage.

She blinked for a moment as he just asked a question that should've been obvious question with "I get this feeling that you're not!" FEELING?! What was he, a psychic now? OF COURSE she wasn't great; why else would she be here?! Goodness, boys ARE stupid!

But before she answered the boy and let all hell loose, she noticed that the other girl had followed her out here. Guilt rose up; she must've scared the girl enough to have her follow. "U-Um, I'm sorry if I woke you up, Lizzie. Didn't mean to..."

When she turned back to Matt, she now did nothing more but sigh heavily, almost literally emitting steam from the top of her head. She turned on her Ipod again and continued down the path she had set herself on.

Crystal had still been watching the sky, when she heard fast footsteps fly past her. Jumping in surprise, she looked to see that it was Asakura, carrying her bag. That was odd; why was she going so far from campus?

She sighed; she'd have to follow the girl in case she got lost or fell into the river. After all, being half robot wouldn't be much help in that department. She began her journey to catch up, following the footsteps at a light jog.

Several minutes past, and she finally found Asakura working on something at the top of an outcrop. Crystal watched in fasination for a moment as the girl was working on some sort of internal thing, screwdriver and all. Well, she couldn't hide forever........so she finally came into the clearing and (very tiredly), made it up to the stage and flopped on her back.

"Whooo! Made it! In under 20 minutes too; hm, new record.

You got up here fast; you ok?" she asked the girl, turning her head to the side with a grin, assuring hte girl it was merely tiredness and that she wasn't hurt.

((I typed Lizzie again? ARGH! *bangs on wall*))
Kalli was confused. She looked at Matt. "Um... what just happened?" she asked him softly, clutching her pillow to her chest.

"Eh?"
Asakura, unsuspecting that she had been followed, glanced up suddenly from behind a curtain of hair; in her state of total immersion with her work, she had almost completely zoned out from the outside world. This was pretty obvious as a pleasantly suprised look flitted over the mecha girl's face, but she broke into a grin.
"Crystal-sensei! You found me."
She flexed her fingers once, checking the mechanisms she had just finished fixing. Not a sound was made.
"I was just... making some internal repairs. You know, the springs get a little rusty and all. Now to test it out!"
Asakura stood up, taking a few steps back to clear some space. With a bound forward, she hurled herself shoulders over knees, single hand shooting out to balance her weight in an almost perfect one-handed forward handspring. Landing neatly on the balls of her feet, she punched out.
"Ya!"
Resuming normal stance, she grinned.
"Awesome, all back in working order."
