 And so they arrived. Nothing spectacular really. Except that one house was a bit water logged as they walked past it. But the house where 'base' was, was just a bit down the way. It took him a second to remember the address, but once he remembered, he strode right towards it. "I bet you would just like a chance to hang around with Sammie girl." The only female in the group really, he wasn't sure what to consider the girl Eileen, cute little spunky thing though she was.

He let out a deep breathe, and then he noticed something.
He could see his breathe. He didn't remember that at all earlier.
"Damn, it really is getting colder. Something changed in this place" Akechi was pretty glad he atleast had the proper clothing.

"You're right...it is getting colder." Raymond chimed in as he rubbed his wet and now cold arms, starting to feel the effects of the cold. Reaching over he pulled over his backpack, and after opening the top pulled out his arctic clothing from before. Standing up he pulled on the pants and zipped up the jacket...ah, much better. If he had a gun he would have set out by now, but his weapon was still inbound from wherever Joseph had ordered it from.
"The unity field collapsed? how? why?" Raymond asked, now on his feet. It was only a matter of time until his weaponry would arrive and he would be back to the chase.

Lahren immediately glared at the Palace area, quirking an eyebrow even with the odd look. "What. The hell. Is going on in there?"
This was starting to feel like a major mistake, coming here.

"Well the viable distortion where those fields were just disappeared." He looked slightly distraught now. No more joking manner, "Some s**t is going down here and we're not on top of it. We can either bunker down here and be blind or do some more reconnaissance, and hell, we still have people out there."
The flashing device fell to the ground at Ray's feet.
"This makes me worried."

"Alright.... Not usually the guy to run into danger, but... I'm going to the Palace. Anyone coming with? This is ridiculous."
Lahren was now very on edge. The place he could run to if s**t went down was now no longer safe, and that also meant that something really serious just happened.
He was going to investigate. Seemed to do that a lot recently.

Eileen nodded to Lahren. "i'll go with you. ...ano...maybe after I find a jacket...it's getting cold in here...." She scurried over to the closet, and rummaged around in there until she found a decently thick, if oversized, coat. Shrugging into it, she nodded to Lahren, and said, "...gomen, i'm ready."

Lah unstrapped Right, checking over it and making certain it was still loaded. After confirming that, he glanced over at JB, pausing a second. "You got anything I can use to talk to you guys?"

Eileen nodded, then went through her transformation sequence, becoming HoshiTe once more. As the brilliant light ended, she said in her metallic voice, "That would be me. I have the walkie talkie frequencies programmed into my engram core. You may in addition utilize this spare walkie talkie that Sam passed on to me." She passed the device over to Lahren with one gloved hand.
She paused, then nodded to the door. "We should leave. There is definitely something drastic that has changed, and there is a 70% probability that it is not good." And with that, HoshiTe stepped out the door, leading the way.
