Interesting. You do fold it right? Not that I've seen a lot of pensises (penii??) in my life, but the cups are about the same diameter of an erect p***s. The v****a is flexible to accommodate different sizes in penises so it won't have a problem with cups. Here's another run down: http://menstrualcupinfo.wordpress.com/menstrual-cup-brands/ Scroll down to view the stiffness, apparently the Diva Cup is one of the stiffer ones: http://menstrualcupinfo.wordpress.com/cup-stiffness-comparison-chart/ Keeper doesn't ship to Canada, so I'm going to go with the Lunette.

LOL. The average size p***s actually takes a lot of effort to go in me. The sex partners I tend to keep are either below average in girth (but don't tell them I said that!) or don't mind the lack of vaginal penetration. And yes, I do fold it. As mentioned before, I'm not doing anything wrong and I still have the instruction sheet to my Divacup. I don't think I should have to carry lubricant with me to get it in. Thanks for digging up all that info. I'm going to see if I could get a small Meluna or something.

Other then the minute differences in sizes, it's pretty much two sizes or the highway. I don't know how old you are, but many companies have this "over thirty" (or vaginal birth) cup, like your v****a magically goes "ooomph!" and expands sightly. So, if the Meluna doesn't work now, keep it and try after the big Three-Oh. There's also Instead, which is a disposable cup. It fits right over your cervix. It looks a lot more squishy so it might work for you. Not sure if the price difference between those and tampons. http://www.softcup.com/content/what-softcup

After using Diva and Lunette I can say with certainty that Lunette is softer and more comfortable with a lot less suction. If you have trouble accommodating Diva, Lunette should be much, much nicer. I also have and IUD and had no negative pressure issues with Lunette.
NomNom, possibly TMI but: Are you sure you don't have an extra thick or imperforate hymen that hasn't ruptured? Some women have it and have to have a hymenotomy.

Ordered my Diana. Lunette wrote me back saying that I just got in before UPS increased the shipping. (They increased it the same day I placed my order.) I think that's pretty spiffy. I like it when companies don't nickel and dime.

But it just seems that I have tiny EVERYTHING. One doctor said that my cervix seemed abnormally small so she sent me to someone else to check it out. They couldn't find anything wrong. It was just small.

Got my Diana today! Lunette was SO awesome. I got a little wipe and the Lunette cup wash - complimentary due to a delay in shipping. That my friends, cannot be beat. Moar: onetwothreefourfivesixseveneightAnd a video of squishing: hereI can't remember if my Diva Cup instructions were as thorough, but there are some great tidbits on my Lunette: when removing, pull while pinching the tip (not the stem) or you'll have leakage rise first in cold water to avoid staining and smell (this is good to know!) putting toilet paper in the toilet first should avoid having to flush again I'm going to say it: can't wait for that time of the month. xd

sometime last year i finally decided to get a diva cup and good god do i love it. the looks you get from people when you try to explain it to people can be pretty priceless too but they also come from people who aren't very open minded at all so whatever.
LOVE IT.
what are the pros of the lunette over diva? i havent had too many problems with mine aside from sometimes having to try over and over to get it in properly and sometimes the fold doesn't like to unfold i guess. user error?

For me the Lunette pops open easier. I have to twist the Diva a lot to get it to open. It's a softer material so I guess that's why. It also has bigger holes and a different shape so there is less suction. Diva had way too much suction for me so I had to turn it inside out, which actually helps.

I don't think the Lunette is superior to the Diva Cup. It's just whatever works for you. The Diva Cup didn't, so I'm trying the Lunette.

Okay, right now, I love, love LOVE my Lunette. I'm so glad it works like it's suppose to and it's not a pain to remove. I wasn't sure the minute difference in size would be such a big deal, but man, wonderful.
Also in good news: no cramps which I have to thank P90X.

I'd check out the stuff on Lunapads, but there's not much of a point seeing as I never get my period. neutral
It's really great though to see eco-sensitive options that are actually comfortable and functional for us gals.

I think I got my period around 17 or so. Mine was thankfully really irregular when I was young. It would of been really nice to of known the options before hand. My mom basically tossed a package of pads in my room and told me not to flush them down the toilet. I'm not sure if you could flush them if you wanted - they were monsters. burning_eyes

I got mine around 12 or 13, while packing things up during a hurricane here in Florida. I'm almost 18 now, and it's never become regular- in fact as stated before, I rarely have it.
My lack of period is due to multiple medical issues, mostly confirmed but one speculated. That's just how life is I guess lol. I've been told I'm lucky over it, but I don't really feel that way... especially given the HORRENDOUS cramps that sometimes appear.
