Mivi HellsBitch Poor Pistil!
Swedish is hard with braces with all the knots you have to do with your tongue and stuff... ...Knots? surprised Danish translations sucks.

Pistil Is it actually pronounced the same way? Because I made my sister blush. It was soooo funny. Oh yeah, the exact same way.
The funny thing is that sex both means six and sex in Swedish... which leads to amusing misunderstandings all the time.
We were invited to a party a Friday and I was supposed to come to my friend first, and go with her to the party. I said to her I would be there at six, but I wasn't that sure I'd make it. So I was all like
"OK I'LL AIM FOR SIX(SEX) TONIGHT! biggrin "
Can't understand why people looked so funny at me xd

Mivi Proudly_Jewish Mivi TheTrien the danish should actually go: kan du bære min taske for mig? but you were close blaugh Doh! >.< I was going to write that at first. gonk Speaking is a lot easier. ._. Is there a huge difference between the written and spoken language? ninja Yes, at least it is in Swedish. *goes to Swedish GD and posts more info, since this is the Norwegian one* ^^, (Taken from the Norwegian discussion.)
Actually written and spoken Swedish were never closer to each other than now. I recently made a massive research about how the Swedish language has changed through the times and what we call "nusvenska" (i.e. the Swedish we talk in Sweden at the moment) is mainly characterized by that the written language and the spoken language are very close to each other. Closer than in most other Germanic languages and definitely closer than in the Latin languages.
