"well for now i have to take care of something, i feel the precence of intruders" hidama replied. with that she jumped out of the window and spread her wings to meet the intruders before they got too far up the mountain. she landed right in front of where they stood " halt, who are you and what are your elements" she growled at taun.

Zig's eyes widened at the obvious aggression in this woman's tone. "I'm Ziggurat Swood of the Air Kingdom," she answered honestly. Never before had someone come to ask what element she was when she entered Palpisol. Something was definitely going on and she had a feeling that it wasn't too good.

Taun was taken off-guard, but quickly regained his formality. "I am Taun Riannon, an emissary from the Water Kingdom. I seek an audience with Princess Illusion."

" i guess i can let you both in but taun you might not want to say you are from the water nation" her expression softened as she could feel she could trust the two. " please excuse me for my rudness, we have to be carful about who we let in the castle" she informed them. " my name is hidama and its very nice to meet you both" she shook both of their hands. " may i help you up the mountain?"

Zig shook Hidama's hand and gave her a small smile. "I thank you for the help, but may I ask exactly what's going on? I've never had anyone ask me my nation before I entered the city before," she said as she continued to make her way upwards toward the castle. I wonder if we should be heading toward the castle at all if there are more serious problems with Taun being from the water nation now.

"Why wouldn't I want to reveal my nation?" Taun asked as Hidama shook his hand warmly. "I realize there was an attack but I was coming to tell the Princess that it was the work of terrorists, not the Water military."

" its better if the princess tells you herself" she replied to zig. "thank you for coming all this way to tell us this important news, i did not think the water military would do this for i am half water myself" she said to taun.
" come we must tell the princess as soon as possible" she started to walk up the mountain in a rush. she was eager to tell her the somewhat good news

Zig was still a little worried about what Illusion had decided, but since Hidama was so excited she figured things might not be as bad as she'd imagined. She looked over at Taun, gauging his expression, before heading up toward the castle just a little bit behind Hidama. She wanted to find out what was happening as soon as she could.

"Alright, I just hope that the Princess won't decide to have me killed before I can tell her the news." He said as he ran up behind Hidama. "But I have a question, can I possible claim citizenship? I am also half water, half air."

How odd. All three of us are water-air hybrids. Zig hadn't actually said anything to the other two although she had told Taun earlier. Her lineage wasn't particularly pertinent in this situation, but it was still rather interesting.

hidama turned around and grabed tauns hands, her eyes twinkling with excitment " your like me?, i have never meet anyone like me of course you can gain citizenship.... i think" she replied. she hopped up the mountain happily.

Zig was surprised at Hidama's burst of excitement. She wasn't quite sure if she wanted to say something about herself or if she should just leave the situation as it was. I guess it couldn't hurt... "Actually, I'm also a water-air hybrid. My father was from here and my mother came from the water kingdom. I never knew there were three of us. I wonder how many 'hybrids' there actually are," she said trailing off at the end of her sentence to think about the question she'd posed.

Taun gave Zig a pleading look as he ran up after Hidama. As he ran, his mind whirled. Alright, if I can technically become a citizen of the Air Kingdom, then I can downplay the water bit so the Princess will actually listen to me.

she laughed excitedly and turned around again and hugged them both. " you dont know how long i have been waiting to meet people like me" she grabed both of their arms and dragged them up the mountain. " lets be friends from now on" she almost shouted. she was so happy to find people just like her. back in her own village she was shuned my everyone when her water abbilitys awakend.

Zig looked at Taun and replied with a shrug. There really wasn't much she could do about the overexcited elementalist. She was quite surprised by the sudden hug she received but since she was soon being dragged up the mountain once more and Zig had to regain her composure so she wouldn't fall. Well, now we're both being pulled up a mountain, although I hope Taun's lineage can help him. According to Hidama's actions the Princess isn't feeling too lenient right now, but maybe Hidama's excitement could help us out.
