So I've re-applied at the urging of Shattered Moons, Savith, Starsong, and a few others of you here, and it looks like I may be joining you all after all. I think we've reached a fair comprimise and a better understanding, so we'll see how that goes. I look forward to playing with you guys, if I get the chance.
As for the name change, I made a new account because I wanted different eyes, and that's one of the three things you can't change after you set your avatar (eyes, skin tone, and gender are irreversible, and I don't know why). I'm still saving up for the right clothes, and for some reason I can't get my shirts to layer correctly. That, and when I wear my other shirt with this one, you can see my boxers from the back (but not the front -- weird, huh?). Bummer.

Perhaps we can say it's a day later guys. Finding some ten elves in one day, while only a slight exageration, is a bit annoying. Anyone else want to say some time passes?

Well, why don't we skip on over to our little shin dig at night? We can do a little feasting and talking and getting to know each other, which would be more fun than posing "Llune walks over to the water and takes a drink." ... "Then she goes and sitts back down." ... "Now she's making more baskets..." Etc.
Let's just say we got a little shelter built, Llune made some baskets, the group gathered wood for a cook fire and made up some meat and some coconut and some flowers etc. for dinner, and we can pose the relaxation after the eating? Short scene where everyone tells a little of their back story and then everyone passes out, so that we can start a new day tomorrow?
Thoughts?

My pleasure, Llune. What can I say? They wouldn't let the subject die.
If you guys are really playing the "Find 10 elves in one day" game -- meaning probability is being stretched and it's getting ridiculous -- perhaps some of us should start RP in a separate location, as a second group? I mean, I can't play yet, so I'm still just yelling from the sidelines, but it may make more sense for a second group to gather for a bit and ultimately meet up with the primary group. This prevents us from all playing together initially, which is a bit of a bummer, but does allow for more reasonable opportunities for elves to meet without completely defying reasonable expectations. Plus, as we grow larger, it will become functionally impossible for us to RP together simultaneously anyway (too many elves to keep track of at once), so it'll help us get used to the idea of splitting up.
Or maybe I'm wrong.

I totally agree with you Rook! Maybe another group could be traveling toward the cove and pick up others on the way? Just another idea.
