Kitty suddenly poked Remu's arm and calmed down. She raised her eyebrows at Remu and looked from Thorn to Remu, and back again. "related?" she repeated seeing almost no similarities.

Thorn made a face that sorta looked like this eek .
"What did you just say?!"
Was that true? How the hell could that be right?
"It's true. My parents died when I was really little and I only just found out about you recently."
Thorn felt like she had been struck by lighting.
"EXACTLY HOW CLOSE ARE WE?!"
"...Twins..."

Kitty looked at Thorn then back at Remu, she then suddenly burst out in uncontrollable laughter. "twins..." she gasped then laughed some more.

Thorn was shocked, but at the same time, ecstatic. All her life she thought she had no family. Now she finds out she has a twin?!
"This...is...so....COOL! I can't believe it! Wait... does that mean I'm a shinigami?!"
"Actually yes... But you obviously grew up as a human so that's hard to imagine isn't it? I think the old man told me something about being able to switch back and forth?"

Kitty calmed down and wiped a tear from her eye. She smiled at their family reunion and couldn't help but smile even more. She was friends with a shinigami who had a twin that was also a shinigami. "this is cool" she said knowing that she was going to be ignored but she didn't care.

She looked at her over acsseorised wrist and raised her eyebrows. "Its about 10:30 pm....i'm going to bed. C-ya" she said then exited the room, closing the door behind her. She walked off to her room, locked the door behind her. She turned on her radio, changed into PJ's, turned on her night light and went to sleep.

Thorn nodded. "Night..." She closed the door after kitty left and got ready for bed. Then she noticed Remu was still standing there.
"Don't you ever sleep?"
"Not much. The way I see it, sleep is for the lazy shinigami."
"I'm not lazy I'm just used to it. You should still rest every once in a while."
"Have it your way then."
Remu sat confortably in the corner or the room and fell asleep quite easily. Thorn finally got into bed and eventually drifted off.
The next morning Thorn woke up to a big surprise. Remu looked human! Her pale white face had a little more colour in it and her blue lips were normal. Although she was now putting on black lipstick. Also she no longer looked like a skeleton. She was busy getting dressed into a light blue halter-neck top and violet tight-fit leggings half covered by a lilac zig-zag hemmed skirt. She was also wearing knee-length white boots.
"So you're awake. You like?" She said cheerfully while applying eyeliner to her now more human-like golden eye(s).
"Yeah you look great. But why do you look human?"
"You remember what I said last night? We can make ourselves look like normal humans anytime we want. So now I can join your classes and people can see me."
"Fair enough." Thorn replied as she got dressed. Since they were now twins, Thorn decided to wear the same as Remu except she wore different colours. her top was black, her trousers were black, her skirt was dark purple and her boots were black.
"I can't wait to see the look on L's face when he sees us!"
(sorry if I don't reply for a while tomorrow I'm going to france with school blaugh I'll be back on thursday or friday next week so plz plz plz don't do too much without me!"

((aw lucky! i've always have wanted to go to Europe, have a good time ^^))
Kitty woke up and looked around her room with tired eyes. She got out of bed and decided not to change yet. She exited her room and wandered down the hallway into the kitchen. She made some toast and waved to some of her friends, some in PJ's also. She walked down to the living room of the mansion and turned on the TV, but frowned when sound only came on, apprently no one had fixed the TV since L's broadcast. So annoyed she walked down the hall to her room. She closed the door turned on her radio that had turned off on its self timer when she fell asleep, and dragged a chair to the window and opened it. Cold, morning air rushed into her room and she smiled and sat down in the chair. She merely stared out the window munching on toast, daydreaming.

L listened to their conversation and stayed out in the hallway, sitting against the wall and chewing his thumb in deep thought. Finally, when morning came and others would be awake, he knocked politely on Thorn's door.

Kitty finished her toast and sighed. Might as well get ready for the day... She got out of her chair and got changed into a simple t-shirt jeans combo. She walked out of her room and boredly wandered around she turned around a corner and saw L at Thorn's door, automatically she turned around and hide behind the wall were she just was and peeped around the corner to eavesdrop. It was morning so she was still tired so she didn't realize that L could probably see her.

L saw movement out of the corner of his eye, but did not react when he saw it was not Thorn. Very well, he thought. Lets see how well your detective skills are...Kit.
He knocked once more on the door. "Rise and shine," he said, in case the girl was still asleep. He had heard of the expression used before, but rarely used sayings. L was not used to the idea of expressing one's feelings and thoughts through a play-on-words rather than simply explaining them.

Kitty raised an eyebrow rise and shine? is he her mother?... She blinked a few times then shacked her head, she continued to spy on them, still thinking that L couldn't see her.

L mentally reminded himself that using expressions were pointless, and to not use one again.
He knocked on the door again. "Thorn? Are you in there?"
((btw, L shouldn't be able to see shinigami yet - otherwise he would be able to solve the case in a split second ^_^))

Kitty was getting board so she leaned against the wall and since she was still tired she closed her eyes and almost fell sleep but she realized that she was falling asleep so she woke with a slight start.
