Arai watched Yuriko leave, then turned towards the curtain, facing Seta.
"You heard him, call his family," Arai said to Seta before turning and leaving.
I doubt that is all that is going on here, Thomas Rivers, ha! There is something bigger going on here, I can feel it. I'll look around my house tonight and talk with Ryuu in the morning.
Arai left Ouran with his Bokken, cane and bullet wound. We can only hope he will heed Yuriko's advice and return in the morning in the same condition.

Seta nodded as he pulled out his cell and called the Maxwells" hello mrs. maxwell is this everything going all right is everyone there fine" he asked as he was rensured that everything was fine there for now." your son is doing good Mrs. Maxwell he should make a quick recovery" he confirmed for her" well thank you Mrs. Maxwell have a good night" he smiled closing his phone.
He turned to the sleeping Terrance before sitting in the cair next to his bed" you hear that Terrance your family is fine you can rest with a light mind now" he smiled as the nurse came in to escort him out" all right well it's time for me to go" he grined standing up and walking to the door" good night Maxwell-san" he said as he walked out the door.

Arai carried Yuriko into one of the rooms and laid her down on the bed. He pulled a chair up next to the bed and sat down, laying the cane down on the floor. Arai brushed her purple hair revealing her face.
I shouldn't have said anything, she is in danger as it is, and I've just put her in the cross hairs. I need to keep Yuriko safe.
He sighed and sat back in the chair.

Yuriko started to stir. "Uh, um." she opened her eyes and looked around the room, she saw Arai sitting in the chair. She then realized what had happened. She sat up in the bed, "Oh no Arai, I- I'm sorry I didn't mean to cause you any trouble." She looked down, "Arai," her hands clenched the blanket, "I like you, but-" She shook her head and pushed herself off the bed wrapping her arms around Arai, "Why, why does all of this have to be so confusing?" She started to cry again, "I'm so weak. A yakuza needs someone strong."

Chiba grumbled slightly" I still don't see why you have to act diffrently to others just to keep reputation," He Looked to Miyuki," If you ask me I think that would then be considered a false reputation for they are baseing it on a fake outer shell" He smiled back to her," I really don't see why people have to 'pseudo-self' they should be able to express them selves and not be judged because of it!" He paused hearing Yuriko's words and cries" uhhh M....maybe we should come back?" he muttered to Miyuki. leaning down next to her ear, making sure not to bend the wrong way he whispered slowly," See like that."

"Let's, uh, go to the gardens. That is- unless there's somewhere else you want to go!" Miyuki whispered. "I can probably get one of our families private doctors to look at your ribs..." She backed slowly to the door.

"You are strong in your own way," Arai said softly, "Besides now my world isn't all about strength, the Gyakusatsu family doesn't have this dog any more."
He ran his hand through Yuriko's hair, gently pushing her deeper into his chest.
"I'll protect you no matter what," he breathed softly, "I'll talk to Terrence, you rest here, I'll be right back."

Yuriko got off of Arai and sat back on the bed. "I'll be ok." she still couldn't look into Arai's eyes. All of these things were so weird for her.

Arai laid Yuriko down on the bed and walked out of the room. Once in the hallway he looked down the hallway towards Terrence's room and then back up towards the exit, there he saw Miyuki and Chiba. He stepped into the long hallway and leaned against the wall favoring his good leg, it still hurt a little to put weight upon the leg that had a bullet rifle through it, his eyes transfixed upon the two underclassman.
If they heard Yuriko's and my conversation and spread it around school, Yuriko could become a target for my family, I know that they will want revenge against me for defecting. What should I do about these two?

Chiba looked down the hall seeing Arai as he leaned up against the wall, What and amazing looking young man, he had never seen someone like this, his eyes were so cold, yet he didn't seem too mean," Miss Miyuki the gardens sound fine, I don't need to see a doctor my ribs will be fine they're just a little bruised," he tried to explain his eyes not leaving the young swordsmens face, He feared something, but what? Didn't the girl say something about yakuza. He began to connect two and two together and suddenly realized the young swordsmens fear,"Miss Miyuki I think We should go." he smiled turning them both towards the exit and walking that way. He turned his head back to look at Arai and smiled" Don't worry our lips are sealed." he mouthed.

Miyuki turned to the strange young man. She smiled reassuringly, gave a little wave, and left with Chiba. She didn't understand much of what had gone on in the room but she wouldn't ask questions. She was good at not asking questions.

Arai's face did not change one bit as Chiba and Miyuki left. Once the door was firmly closed he turned around and headed into Terrence's room. Terrence appeared asleep in his bed and Arai didn't have the patience to wait for him to wake up.
"Wake up, I need to talk to you," He said loudly as he smacked the bed with his cane, "I know you can hear me, your wounds aren't that bad that you need to sleep all day."

Terrence's eyes popped open angrily giving Arai a startled but deadly look. Terrence was not the kind of person you would wake up all nilly willy and expect a bright smile from in the morning. Just the opposite.
"What's the hell is the matter with you?!?!" he growled shooting himself to a sitting position then cringing in pain. "What do you want?!?!" he shouted as his focus settled into Arai, "I told you everything already? What more do you want?" he asked the Yakuza child. What more could he do to pester his life?

"You are so ungrateful that I saved your life," Arai said coldly, "I didn't have to you know I could have sat there and watched you die a slow and painful death. It is almost like you want to be dead." Arai gave a dark chuckle, "You are staying here at the school, we'll take care of all of the arrangements, unless of course, you really do want to die."
Arai stared at Terrence as though he were a statue, cold and emotionless.
