I think setting up a thread to support the Olympics is a good idea. 8D
But if it's in the CB, I don't know how many would be interested.
To me, GCD seems more like a discussion forum circling Gaia, its items, avaters, etc. o:

Well, if we get everyone to carry banners in their sig, then we can slowly influence all the regular hangouts of guild members.. if that makes sense.. xD but where where where?! D;

The CB wouldn't be a good place to create a support China thread. There's so many trolls and noobs there that it's likely the thread will be hijacked. Plus most of the people there are bound to be semi-illiterate idiots who don't care about issues such as Tibet. I reckon we should hold the thread in the ED, right next to Kitty's thread, and rally support around it. That way we can attack the people who are most strongly supporting the Tibetans as well as point out the truth to the EDers who are probably the most educated in Gaia.

Does anyone recall this gaian hosted event from a few years ago?
It was were a bunch of gaians rallied by wearing rag clothes break the line between poor and rich? To try to get everyone equal?
xD By a chance does anyone remember where the thread was posted in? I say we should host it in the same section and make banners linking to it.

I just did a tag search for 'peasant', and it hasn't come up D; Just PMed Rosamaine, we'll see what she says.. The Fuwa are sooo cute <3 EDIT :: Rosamaine Hiya! I spoke to some of the other mods and we were originally going to say the Friend's Chat subforum. However, the fact there will be competitions and such events, CB is the only place >_< However, if you can make it more hangout focused, you can make it in FC.

xD Lets make it more hangout friendly?
Bringing people together to raise spirits for the Olympic games? Make it so people will be able to cheer for their favorite countries during the game? For now kind of a hangout count down thread? Then during the games, a place to cheer for your countries? xD

If we do chatterbox, it will require a huge team effort. Going to be dealing wth more trolls.
Edit: While we still decide on the thread, lets start drafting the thread in icu?
