"Bat wings?" Haradhel repeated curiously. "Bigger, I would imagine ... like demon wings, then? Not like ... our demons but ... well, Elnara said there were demons in your world that weren't evil, even though they looked ... similar ..."


Arwen nodded. "That was a very long time ago," she agreed, "in the First Age. I don't know exactly how long ago that was, I can't count that high so it doesn't make much sense to me, but Mama says it was longer than most people have been alive."

"Ah... yes... Shiro by definition of his wings would be considered a demon neko. They can be as good or as evil as any other being. I should know, I have one for an in-law," Kara mused thoughtfully, "It's just how the races turned out somehow... I don't think it's the result of mixing races, though then again it could be possible, might explain a few things. It's just for some races there are more than one type within that one race. Like, you've seen Triton, he has no wings by nature, he is the definition of what a neko is. A being who holds cat like qualities of ears and tail, but has no fur anywhere else except those two parts. He has no wings, and no other extra parts that set him apart, unlike Kaito or Shiro."

She paused for a moment, it showed how different the two worlds were.

"Though... it is possible that they are a mix too... it wouldn't be unheard of, deep down most races have the same I guess base form somewhere. Whatever that might be."

"Oh....." Miyu mused.

She supposed it would be then like long back in history, she had heard of history. Studied a bit of it, though it didn't interest her as much as it did Lin.

Celebor followed quickly after Donovan, closing the door behind him so that Celeborn could change in peace.

"Does it always go so smoothly, so quickly?" he asked curiously. "Just ... you're here, therefore you leave in the morning and that's it?"

It seemed quite nicely organized to the teen, he rather liked it.

"I think it would be nice for Serenity to meet him, as well," Aliya put in, "though it would be a shock for her, too. After all, she was the one who had to leave the place where she was born because of the demons. I don't know if he would remind her of them, but ..."

She shrugged.



Adan glanced over his shoulder to see how Lin was following. It looked like she was keeping up all right, but he was a bit taller than her so his stride was a bit longer ... he slowed down a bit so that she could keep up. After all, in her own words, they weren't supposed to be by themselves.

Donovan made his way back out of the barracks, he had to think about it, "More or less. We still have preparations to make before we go, but it's become fairly routine. Which is why it is going quickly, we don't start parking though until we know where the children are and how many slavers there will be. Once we know that, we start packing according to what will be expected."

He paused for a moment and turned slightly to look at Celebor.

"Which reminds me, how good is your first aid?"

Lin ran slightly, catching up with Adan.

"Don't worry, keep going I won't fall behind."

"I imagine Ruel was one of the biggest problems for him," Haradhel remarked. "But if he were to come here, I promise you he would be treated well. Like you, like Cindy, it's just something that we need to get used to - and to be honest it would probably be better - or easier at least - if we were to get used to him while he's still young, and not as intimidating."

Of course, she really had no idea what he looked like, she was only guessing he might look fierce when he was older.


Arwen closed the book again and returned it to the shelf.

"So what do you want to do?" she asked Miyu, smiling and clasping her hands behind her back. "Do you want to play something?"

"Actually.... I heard Ruel was being pretty decent... for someone who didn't like to have a demon at the dining table. I don't know much, Celebor of course would know, and I think Lin has a rough idea of what happened," Kara commented. I'll make note of doing that, besides Elnara and Lore owe a visit here it has been so long...." Kara trailed off for a moment, "Though I can't imagine Shiro being intimidating, he's awful polite...."

She paused and giggled for a moment.

"In fact Kaito is slowly picking up more words from his brother, so he's been mixing in Japanese too."


"Okay," Miyu replied without really thinking about it, "What do you want to play?"
