I'm not saying it isn't stupid. But granted, Gaia moving around so much could've played a role.
You could just keep switching the banner in your profile if you wanted.

Yes, but that's also the same with the picture posting thread. People may have deleted the image from their hosting site, it the url has changed. We can't help it.
