"Thats good to hear, but you should still be resting." With little conviction in his voice Sang was glad that Mai was back on her feet and feeling relatively good. looking back towards her he held out his hand to her as he took a quick pause in attending to Surete.

Mai sighed. "But I can't stay in bed for that long," she complained sightly. She looked at Sang as he held out his hand to her. She pulled her hand out from the blanket to take his. She grasped onto his hand.

"I know." He comments with a smile as he pulls her up to his side. "Do you think you can help me with her for a little bit?" he asks as he gently places Mai's hand on Surete's wing. knowing that Surete's body was naturally a lot warmer than the air, and the sands below here still resonated with plenty of heat, other wise Surete would not be lieing their.
Surete jumped a little bit to Mai's cold but her touch did do a little to soothe her mind as he could feel a bit more about the person by their touch as could most animals. After her body relaxed her read rested on the ground once again as she waited to get the last few minuets of her grooming.

Mai felt more warmth flow into her body. "so warm," she commented. Rain wasn't even this warm. Rain had a bit more of a cooler touch. Maybe because of where she had found it. In a cold, drak, damp place under ground.

Smiling brightly he keeps a hold of her hand as he lighlty rubs Mais hand over the few grains of sand left on Surete's wing. "So do you think you can help me?" looking to her slightly sheepishly

Suddenly a rush blew over Sang and Mai. Both riders jerked their heads up to see a black dragon with silver marks zoom over their heads. The dragon was nearly three times the size of their own dragons, clearly making it quite a few months older than them. A spear of ice shot out from a dune some distance away at the dragon, slicing through its left hindquarters. The dragon let out a ear priecing cry and began to double back towards dune were there attack originated from.
The elf, awaken by the dragon cry, appeared by the two rider side looking at the dragon that was now letting out a series of fire blast at the targeted dune. The elf turned to Sang ready to accuse him but the dragon zipped over their head with it back revealed to show a young women, unconsious, in its saddle. Three nasty slash marks riddle her back likely a creature had swipped it claws at her. The dragon soon vanished from sight as it took higher into the sky.
The drawf was now with them and was able to see the dragon just before it vanished. He looked at the dune that was now ablazed, "That some serious fire power....was it the king?" The elf shook his head, "The dragon was to small and its rider was female."
The elf turned to sang, "What were the dragon colors? There are two more dragon rider known of by the varden. One still resides in the elven city...another is out on it own."

With not much time to react to the new dragons sudden appearance, watching what was going on in front of him with a slight look of shock mixed with fear that he might be the one doing this instead of what he hoped was the charred remains of a person. hearing the elf's words his head whips back from the sky to the duo standing in front of him. "Black and silver, i think." Sang comments calmly wishing he had gotten a better sight of the rider more than the dragon its self though both of them were hurt. "how many dragons have been hatched??..." sang asks himself as he looks back to Surete who was now standing on her legs waiting for her rider or requests for her to stand down the sand still spilling from her wings like water. Sang who despite his confusion had also made the switch to his tanning and was waiting for some sort of action to be issued weather it be to stop or go.

((You two make the decision to follow the two new arrivals or move on.))
The elf looked suddenly nervous and unsure. "It is one of the elven city dragon riders," he started, "It is the same one that took off with a large threat to the varden and elven city. They haven't been seen in months! Was there a male on that dragon?"

"No sir, i could only see a single female rider." Sang commetns as he looks down to the ground. "So even in the Varden their are some who wish to run." he thinks to himself. feeling Mai's arms wrap around his waist he looks back for a momne to see her face as she hide into his back. Sighing softly he looks back up to the elf slightly curious about what truly awaited them at their destination.
((hey relena, sense Mexy is out on her trip she asked me to get us up to the Varden city. and im slightly agreeing with her so. i dont think well be able to pursue unless you and i are on at a point to work it out quickly... but ill also need to requests jump)(time for this one))

Sighing deply in a slight tone of relief Sang turned around and wraped his arms around Mai's body. though she was still standing on her own feet she was out again. Letting a soft smile grown over his lips he softly kissed her forehead and carred her into her carrage getting greeted to Rain standing next to him once he steped out. getting starteled a bit Sang slowly aproched the gragon as her eyes were fixed on the side of the wagon asif she could see past the thick cloth. Gently patting one of her shoulders Sang keep quiet for a few moment before a gentle and cool breeze blew past him, sending Surete into a small coiling moction to the sudden chill. Smiling bright Sang looks back towards hte dragons eyes. "Shes going to be allright." He comments to Rain getting a soft twitch from her head. sighings lightly he walks back over to Surete and gathers his equipment. "Come on Surete, ill nedd your back for the last leg of this." HE commetns as his dragon happaly rose from the sand having burred her self a little bit into it the grains finished her gorrming as well as kicking up a good bit of dust. After packing up his tent and hte few blankets he had he straped them down to Suretes back catching up with the rest of the caravan as they headed out into the early morning wile the sun was still hidden beyong the worlds edge. sill the few torches they had shoed him the path and the elf was waiting for them as Sang had expected. Catching eyes with him he looked down to hte ground feeling slightly defeted. "im never going to fly free again am i?" he asks himself noticeing that nearly every place he had been held him on a tiht leash ether because he was unproven or a threat. ether way the cooling waters of the river that barred the deserts progress into the forest was a welcomed brake from the sering winds filled with sand. but still un able to rest it seamed like his "capters" were moving a lot harder than they were before olny resting once their horses could no longer carry thier load further and even then the brakes were only just long enough to unpack and then repack the supplies. but they pierced a grate way into the wood the first day. Even Sang who wile in the moctinless seas of the skys could find his way around was lost in the stacks upon stacks of trees and vines. even the bird calls were unfimilar to him.

Hearing the dwarfs words through the garbled slur of sleep, and the still unsettling signs of fatigue as the feeling of Mai's hand on his shoulder shaking him lightly. as she repeated the instructions to him as he rolled to a seat in the bed they had crafted over the few days of traveling through the woods. Surprisingly ever sense the desert sands were behind them Mai's health had perked up almost instantly allowing them, at least for the time of their travels, to work in shifts of keeping the dragons under control. Rain had been just as docile as her rider. keeping in line and nearly never complaining about anything. but Surete had tuned into a hand full after her body got restless from the lack of exercise IT had been at least a few weeks sense their last real flight and Sang along with Surete were worried that the down time had made them go a bit dull compared to what they used to be like. also the little display of how the fights might turn out to be in the near futcher only made them want to train that much harder. but as their elf friend had put it so delicately they were not trusted enough to do to much, as well as the fact that they did not trust them that much ether. so their sessions if any were short, and brisk. Still the new terrain did mean that they were getting closer, most of the maps only charted up to these mountains and stopped. at least heading northwards.
