I hate it when the band won't shut the freak up and one of us has to literally scream over the crowd or our BD has to threaten the same trumpet player repeatedly to get them to settle down, even a little.

i hate it
1.when this bass clarinet b***h talks about me thinking i can't hear her
2.when she sits two chairs from me
3.when the chair wiggles
4.when i open my case and see my f key in my bell (clarinet)
5.when they kick the bottom of the chair where it bulges up so when you sit it make a loud noise
6.whenthe BD calls the clarinet lycerice stick (pardon spelling)
7.when someone steal my stand and throw my stuff on the floor
8.when you have to make copies of music over and over again because people can't keep up with their music (i was libraian)
9.when you are the only libraian on days when i have to pass out music
10.when the trumpets conplains because they don't get the part they won't
11.when i get harrased by this baritone players
12.when the trumpets blast in your ears
13.when a trombone jabs you in the side while you pass out music on purpose
14.when you march in step but a b***h says you didn't (almost resulted in a fight)
15.when you're almost hit by a car because they do donuts on the practice feild

No I HATE it when (I sit first chair so it's even more annoying) When the last chair is like 'That's not how you play' Do I see you sitting first chair? I think not.

Or when The band director stopped us and every keeps playing.

gah. People who don't practice. They can go die. Seriously I work my but of to sound good. and there was a song we really wanted to play last year but because our low brass didn't feel like practicing we almost didn't get to do it. (it was such and awesome part of the piece and the only reason we got to do it was cuz our concert got postponed and we had an extra week to work on it....and all the band geeks like totally attcked the lazies and threatened their lives. xD

when people call instruments a tuba. I could understand like a baritone or something...but c'mon....calling a piccolo a tuba? X_X

k...well this isn't exacly a band pet peeve but cheerleaders annoy the heck outof me. I hate them so much!

When retarded people can't play whole notes just because it's not in common-time.

making fun of classical/theatrical music and call it boring. my music pwns your stupid rap.

WATCH THE FREAKING CONDUCTOR! FOR PEETS SAKE! X_X *dies of frustration* =P

and one last one. I can sum it up in one word and anyone in marching band will know exacly what I mean. "AGAIN!!!"

when our BD is out we have the student conductors conduct for us...(or at least we used to. Stupid ppl disrespected them and we lost the priveledge. now we have to do work....) BTW. Another pet peev. When people 1.touch instruments they're not supposed to be touching. ESPECIALLY non-music students. and then 2 not only are they breaking the rules by touching them. but they also play them wrong too. We got a brand new gong today and people not even in band were smashing it with drum sticks while Mrs.F was out of the room. X_X

When the stupid Basson player in my school band tries to convince me that a high Bb and entirely different note than a low Bb. And I've been at music longer than him. (Me= about 5 years total, Him = 1 semester)

when the trompones or clarinets dont play loud enough, when someone just sits there and dosent play, when the kid next to me sings along instead of playing, or makes loud noises during tuning, and when the stupid seinors play around during practice just to get on the bd's nervs

Mine has to be the fact of people touching my case or insterment just to annoy me. They are very EXPENSIVE scream and some days I want to wack them over the head with it stressed . But since you can't be voilent in scholl I threaten that they need to carry my case around ( i play the baritone sax) It can be VERY heavy espesily if they carry it for long disances, and paying for it if it breaks (i don't know how much it costs but my tenor was $1900 so I guessing it is more expensive). twisted

geez! my friend plays the bari (im alto) and i tried to lift it one time and almost broke something! (a bone or something nearby)

and when someone asks you to borrow a clarinet reed and you say no and then they go in your case and steal yours!! gonk
