And I remember from a thread... I can't remember what thread it was or when, but... xD
Oh yeah! It was on "How to make tacos" or something. xD
And we were talking and this girl goes: "I hate crunchy tacos! I take one bite of it and all of it comes spilling out!"
And someone else in the thread goes: " What, really? You'd make a great terrible lesbian." Either that or a great lesbian. Can't remember.
The girl goes: "I... Have nothing to say. xD "
It was epic. :3
And Aeris haters make me LOL.

All haters make me rawr. mad Especially Tifa haters!! What I find disturbing about the Aeris haters is how they all say "the b***h is dead!!!" It really really irks me. Even the days when I hated Aeris, I could not imagine myself saying such things. I felt bad when Aeris died...and worse when I kept dying against one of the Jenovas only to replay that scene!! gonk Ohhh, the horror....

That was quite the... interesting read. Well... I only get online once a few months now so it looks like I have alot to make up to you guys. And then I must unfortunately disappear again.
First.... the topic at hand. Why some people hate Aeris. Now, I have actually heard people that hate Aeris give legit reasons for doing so. Strangely though. Here's the funny thing though, they aren't anti's. Just gamers that could not connect with her.
A couple of weeks ago, I heard quite possibly the funniest bullsh*t reason for hating Aeris ever. At an oWoD LARP (old World of Darkness Live Action Role-Play) someone complained to me that my character reminded him too much of Aeris. Well, slightly confused on several levels, I asked how? Being that my character is a fourteen year old pet werewolf and the person said this after my character had just killed another character for hiring a group of assassins to kill my master. I could not make the connection between my character (Freya) and Aeris.
His answer, they are overly obsessive over one man to the point of being willing to blindly die for them. I couldn't help but laugh at him. In part because that was utterly true about Freya (it was his character I had just killed, he knew that about my character and didn't see me killing him coming), and in other part because Cloud was not the reason that Aeris "blindly" died. At least not the only reason.
Silliness that is people I suppose.

People's hate for Aeris are extremely irrational sometimes. Though, here in America people hate her more because she is the stereotypical damsel in distress; they're tired of it. They like the kick-a** girls and femme-fatales.

Yup yup. You can thank Disney for that....even if Aerith technically isn't a "damsel in distress" if she can probably blow somebody/someone up if she wanted to...xD I believe the only reason she get herself out of the Shinra building is because of all the innocents there. Cause she's ya know thoughtful like that. =3

I mean, not connecting with her sure, but hating?
I've seen horrible characters, but I still can't bring myself to hate any of them. O;

He was too good-looking to hate. xd Except with all the tentacles....I loved how he looked when you first meet Sango. But anyways, it's off-topic.
I used to hate Aeris because she was so clingy to Cloud and a little selfish and inconsiderate. Even when Tifa was around, she would purposefully just steal Cloud to herself, which hurt Tifa. Those views are still the same, but I don't hate her anymore.

I can't hate. D8 It's like...extremely difficult for me to HATE someone. Seriously. >>; The only person I'd say I'd hate would be the kid who molested my leg in 10th grade. D:
