David was quite surprised at the speed and ferocity of the attack, but this only made him happier. He began to chuckle.

David spoke, but it seemed that two phrases came out. This was his armor, now in his skin, manipulating the sounds. "Spirit Leak." "Spirit Guard.".

David's white claymore disappeared. In its place was a massive, white, tower shield. There were tiny slits in the shield, and into one of these slits he shoved the black claymore into. Though it seem like this would take a fairly decent amount of time, this was executed in much less than a millisecond.

At the moment the black claymore collided with the Tsuga Niho, it began to lose energy. The energy began to peel off of it. Though still powerful, much of the energy was lost in the few inches it had to travel.

The Tsuga split around the shield, blasting right past David. The resulting heat and light created from the friction and origin of the beam was absorbed by David's armor, lending even more energy to him.

"Spirit Mirror." "Spirit Doom." David withdrew his black claymore from the shield, and ran towards the remainder of the Tsuga Niho. The white tower shield still parted the Tsuga Niho around him, while David began to slice the Tsuga Niho on both sides of him. His black claymore was leaving tiny black particles within the energy. There was a flash, at the rest of the Tsuga Niho was shooting back and Ulquiorra, only further condensed. I was very unstable, grows of energy coming out of it, as if it were boiling. It was an eighth in size, but was even more powerful. It was injected with some of David's own energy, which was used to make it highly explosive and unstable.

The light coming from the reflected Tsuga Niho was huge, as it was concentrated. Mirrors and lenses of ice formed around David, concentrating a huge amount of light and shooting it at him. Once again, he absorbed this by converting it into spiritual energy. Though it was quite a bit of energy, David's chest storage was still not filled, nor was even close.

"Hahahahaha! Now that is truly amazing. That is not something I expected at all. The majority of this battle, you have used brute force. And now this? Oh, how truly unexpected." David laughed out, his eyes glittering.

He then stopped laughing. No abruptly, but he did indeed stop. "I suppose I have to find a way around this. I think I may already have. Of course, there is truly no way "around" so to speak, but you will see..." David said.

The energy from the still increasing ball of light and heat was quite bright. David decided to use this as an example. The excess light that shot out from it simply dimmed.

"See that? That is the energy still being absorbed into my armor. Now comes the conversion phase." David said.

Now, it seemed that David's energy had gone up ever so slightly.

"You see the increase? That is not to me it is now being patched to, but my Alchemist's Armor, which is composed of crystallized spirit particles. Now, you may be wondering what help any of this is at all to me. Well, because the Alchemist's armor is actually within me, and because it is becoming more powerful, my physical abilities are still increased. Not just that, but the WinterWind energy is unique. You know how I use my own spiritual energy to manipulate your attacks, with abilities such as Spirit Spike, and so forth? Well, same principal, only that the WinterWind energy allows me to do so without me using any of my own energy. And don't tell me you haven't noticed. With the Alchemist's Armor being composed of the energy from my WinterWinds, do you think I'd waste my own energy trying to condense that much energy? Not at all. It does it on it's own." David explained.

So, in reality, though the energy would not go back to him, he would not lose any more of his energy, while still being gable to use quite a lot of spirit energy.

The Alchemist's Armor took the energy created from the light energy and began to create tiny crystallized shards of energy, which floated around David in a myriad of colors.

"Once again, you prove yourself to be an amazing opponent. Well, then I suppose we should resume?" David responded.

It seemed the light from the orb dimmed again, but this was something quite different........

"Not really." David replied to Ulquiorra. He didn't sound surprised at all, and he seemed to be completely calm.

A tiny black dome formed quickly around David, thousands of tiny black tentacle like structures shooting out in all directions. They whipped and shot about wildly, hitting the Bala Bala Blasts, causing them to pre-detonate. The explosions would have seemed diminished to Ulquiorra. For each one that exploded, the tentacles seemed to become stronger and faster, easily picking off the Bala Bala Blasts, until Ulquiorra decided it was time to cease his attack.

It seemed that the black tentacles and dome were getting so strong to the point where the Bala Bala Blasts were just ricocheting off the black material.

The dome, and tentacles, exploded, sending a shower of black shards everywhere. It seemed that this was the same material that David's armor was made of, and was directly linked to it.

David appeared behind Ulquiorra, his right arm shooting at Ulquiorra's mid-back area. The fingers were fully extended, attempting to stab through Ulquiorra. But there was more to the attack. Not only was the tips of David's fingers covered in spikes, but Ulquiorra would find that the strength and speed that the black material had absorbed would be added onto David's attack. As for the spikes, they were explosive, holding pockets of condensed heat and light. Upon hitting Ulquiorra, they would explode, adding more destruction to David's attack.

"Reform..." David said quickly. Ulquiorra may have noticed that David was attacking with his hand, instead of his black claymore, which had previously been in his right hand. He still had the large white tower shield in his left hand, but the black claymore was gone.

The large white tower shield formed around David's forearm, creating somewhat of a cone. As for the black claymore, it was now actually formed around David's hands, the spike emerging from the end.

"Spirit Destruction." David said. David's hand would literally slice through the Tsuga Niho, rending it in half. It did not explode at that very second. David's hand would continue forward, and would stab Ulquiorra if he wasn't careful. At the moment David's hand would have made contact with Ulquiorra, the Tsuga Niho exploded, sending David flying back. The majority of the attack would be blunted by David's shield, but a good portion of his midsection armor seemed to peel off his skin. That was no matter though, since the energy that the armor gained from eating the light and heat created by the Tsuga Niho, was more than enough to repair the lost armor, and more. Whether the stab, or explosion, did any damage, would be decided one the smoke cleared.

The black coating that had been the claymore disappeared, being absorbed into David' skin. A huge beam of energy shot at David, lancing out from the orb of energy. It hit David's having a huge impact. It quickly disappeared. David seemed to grow slightly, part of the black armor in his skin literally leaking outwards.

David raised an arm at Ulquiorra. Around him appeared tiny black spikes once again. But there was something different about them, heat seeming to literally peal off of them. In a bright flash, thousands of tiny beams of heat shot from the spikes. This was the heat contained from the energy beam that had hit David earlier. It was not absorbed, but more of rerouted. But it was even more powerful. When the late black claymore had been absorbed into David's armor, the reflective particles were stretched and distributed throughout the armor. The particles, though not inherently reflective of normal energies, did have the property of being shiny. So, the energy reflected back and forth between these surfaces, concentrating, and empowering itself.

While this all happened, another beam arced out at David, colliding with him once again. This energy was rerouted in an instant, shooting from a large spike that appeared above Ulquiorra, a huge beam of energy shooting down from above Ulquiorra. This was once again reflected inside David, and made more powerful.

The spikes shot in simultaneously, including the large one, all converging upon Ulquiorra.

As the Dragon's beam shot out, David had another, much larger than the rest, beam of energy shoot at him. At the moment of the explosion, he caused the energy inside of his armor to explode outward, making an opposing explosion. The explosion stopped the other explosion, and was completely canceled out. As the smoke cleared, David looked at Ulquiorra, the same way he looked at him.
