We don't have uniforms. We're much too cheap for that. D;
Band kids are required to wear black pants and a long-sleeve button-up black blouse. It's terribly difficult to find a long-sleeved black top any other time than winter. >___>
Oh, and it's also difficult to find shades of black that actually match. .___.''

for our concerts guys have to wear black pants with a white button up shirt and a black bow tie and black shoes, girls have to wear a long black dress (school supplied) that when you're trying to hold a trumpet up properly it cuts off circulation to your arms and leaves marks... I hold it'll be diff now im on french horn this year....sorry i get you a pic but we dont have one i can access. I have a picture now!

we used too wear black pants whit button up but our school made shirts for band,strings etc on the back it says when words wont do music rocks!

Last year girls wore all black and the guys wore white on top black on bottom but my band teacher decided to "switch it up" to make us look more " fancy" so we now wear: White on top, Black pants, Bowties, and a black vest. I HATE it! We look like Olive Garden waiters! D:

we hav 2 wear concert dress: boys plain white man tailored shirt, tie, black slacks and black dress shoes
girls:plain white blouse black pants or skirt hem must b knee length or longer and flat dress shoes

Girls and guys: Big ugly burgundy shirt, big awkward silver tie. Black pants.

We have maroon polos with out school's symbol/mascot and name printed on it on the left side. Dress shoes and dress pants for our lower half. 8th grade needs black pants, 6th and 7th need khakis. Nothing more nothing less. smile Oh! And the 8th grade has beastly shirts wink  The front just has the BMS bee and the school name written on it smile The back says, if you can't read it.....

Lets see~
Middle school Begining/concert band- Purple polo shirt and black slacks
MIddle school jazz/symphonic band~ White Dress shirt (longsleeve) and black slacks and black dress shoues, leather uppers.
HIgh school Freshman band~
Girls~Black dress or all black top(blouse, long sleeve) and slacks (girls wearing resses encouraged to wear heels)
Guys~ White Dress shirt BLACK bow tie, Leather uppers,
HS WInd I and Wind II~
Guys~ Black leather shoes, Tuxedo, Black bow tie
Girls~ Blacck dress , just like freshman band basically. y
Top: White coat with a lightning bolt on it, black gloves and gaunlets
Hat: Changes every year, but recently "marauder" styled (i guess? O_o)
With a purple white plume.
Pants: Black and white bibbers, the white is in the stripe goiiing all the way down to the bottom.
shoes- typical painful black marching shoes...

I think I'm gonna find mine and wear it to school.

Holy crap that's exactly the same dresses and tuxs our band wears. And I hate the dress. Gah. That's what both our concert and symphonic band have to wear. As for the jazz bands, guys wear their tuxs w/o the jacket and girls have to wear a white dress shirt (white jazz) or a red dress shirt (red jazz). Oh and for both jazz band girls get to wear PANTS! Go pants!

we have options at my school :] guys and girls can wear white shirts and black dress pants, but can also wear all black dress clothes if desired (it's preferred that you're in jazz band when you wear black though). girls can wear black dresses if they want too as long as they dont flash anyone (bcuz we're sitting at eye level to the audience). the only thing they're really strict with is black shoes. you have to wear black shoes

For my School District it varies on what we are getting dressed up for.
The Beginning band's concert: Boys have to wear a nice shirt, slacks, a tie, and dress Shoes. The girls have to wear either a dress or blouse and skirt with dress shoes.
The 7th and 8th grade wear dressy stuff (above) for concerts. For All-Region Try-Outs we host it so we all have to wear a band shirt that says our band. If you make All-Region you wear dresy stuff. For contests wear a white shirt, khakis, and dress shoes. For the contest at Frontier City(Amusement Park)we wear our Band shirt and jeans.
The High School have band uniforms. They are "overalls" with a jacket that buttons and zips up the back, and a front piece. They wear dress clothes for concerts and i know they were Marching uniforms for All-Region. I go up their next year so i don't know what they wear to contest
