Edgar waited quietly for Nikki to return. The modern technology here confused him greatly. Who needed a mechanical device to communicate long distances when it could simply be done with the mind? The mortals and half-breeds puzzled him so. Regardless, it was they who obtained power beyond their comprehension. It would be Edgar's duty to ensure they use their powers wisely, unlike many of the Children of Hades.

Nikki came back after a few minutes with a pensive look on her face. "My mother is acting odd; she actually agreed to let me go. I'm sure she's up to something." Nikki started muttering to herself, trying to understand her mother's actions. She shook her head after a minute and continued talking to Edgar. "She'll make arrangements with my aunt about my belongings and I'm free to travel with you as long as I call once a week and don't die. Still, my mother was too willing to let me go; I was sure she would say no. Hmm, I wonder what's up with her..." Nikki started mumbling to herself again, but quickly stopped and looked up at Edgar. "So, where to now?"

(( Yes, well, I wouldn't wait up for her actually. She's not coming back anytime soon I would think, she'd probably still playing Maple Story...I'll go check for you actually. stare She's reading Bleach and she says she's not coming back on Gaia because it's boring. Yeah, seriously, she pisses me off too. ))

Foxxenne "Carile?" Foxx said absently staring out the window of the PT Cruiser. "Can you let me out? I've changed my mind. I'd like to walk around for a little while. She fished a fresh water bottle out from under the back seat and unbuckled as Carile slowed the car and parked then turned to look at Foxx confused. "You've never passed up swimming for anything." She said squinting at her. "What? Did you see some kind of super pool or something?" She asked. "No I just want to walk around for a little while." Foxx responded innocently then quickly added, "Alone." When Carile started to unbuckle and get out as well. "Fine go ahead." She said, "Meet back here in about two hours!" She yelled out as Foxx closed the car door and hurriedly set off back down the street. She stopped two blocks away and closed her eyes. The spots were back. She chose to go the the closest one. She followed it, closing her eyes at each corner to decide which way to go. Eventually she came upon Nikki and Edgar. 'Who?' She wondered as she closed her eyes again to confirm that the glow was the girl. ((i think this is it for me for tonight... i've got to keep my computer privilages you kno XD)) (( Yeah, this was your last post. ;] ))

((Ah, sorry Foxxenne; I didn't notice. Though, I could just blame it on my character being completely oblivious. sweatdrop I'll just pretend your appearance happened just now.))
As soon as Nikki asked of their destination, she felt odd, as if somebody was watching at her. She turned around to see a brunette with violet eyes staring at her. The brunette's eyes were probing her, looking for information, making Nikki feel uneasy and a little scared. She stepped behind Edgar, feeling threatened by her gaze.

Edgar was just about to answer Nikki's question, when she suddenly moved behind him. He saw a young girl with violet and felt a power within. "She is another Child, Nikki," he explained, focusing upon the girl. "A Child of Poseidon, just like you." He took a step forward. "I am Edgar and this is my companion, Nikki. Who are you?"

"Ok, got all this crap-I mean, all these important documents to take to where now...?" Blake mumbled to himself as he searched around for the piece of paper that told him about the job he was doing. Needless to say he couldn't find it right now, even with going through every bag he had and dumping them out on his hotel room bed. Blake sighed, he had searched and found nothing eight times and it was about time he gave up. So he did, and decided he needed some water before all his strength left him. So Blake got up and poured himself a tall glass of water for him to chug down like a dieing man in the middle of a desert.
(( Ok, so I do believe I said I was going to leave. I guess that was a lie. sweatdrop This is still a pretty nice RP and even if I don't have the time for it I still get bored sometimes, so i'll use this RP to escape that bordom I guess! xD ))

Noticing Foxx's step back, Nikki became a little less afraid and stepped forward, making sure to stick close to Edgar. Still unsettled by Foxx's stares, she stayed silent and simply waved hello. She thought to herself, 'Could she really be my half sister? We look nothing alike. I wonder if she knows of Poseidon and has powers.'

"Ok, now where'd my gallon jug go...?" Blake asked himself as he searched for it. It had been taken from him at the airport before he got on the plane, stupid airport security, and he had never gotten it back. So now he needed a new one if he was ever going to last the day. 'Snaps. I hope there's a store around here or something...' Blake thought as he realized he didn't know the area around here. 'Might as well go out searching...' So out into the town, or city, whatever, he went!

Edgar approached the girl. "You have been blessed," he explained. "You are a Child of Poseidon, like Nikki here. If you like, you are welcome to join us. Nikki is trying to discover her powers. Perhaps, if you do or do not, you could work with her." His eyes suddenly went gentle, a power of his mother's. "I know that being alone can be tough, but this way, you can have some company."

Foxxenne did not take another step back but nor did she step forward. She closed her eyes and jumped falling on her butt as the sudden strength of the glow at such a close range surprised her.
"You..." She said pointing Nikki and blinking away spots in her sight. "You have a glow like water! But stronger by more than double!" She rubbed at her eyes still blinded. "How do you know about my powers?" She asked wondering as a breeze blew past revealing her right eye. The crescent moon next to her pupil sparkling brightly.
She realized too late letting her eye go exposed for both of them to get a good look at it. She hurriedly covered it up hoping they hadn't seen.

Nikki ran up to Foxx and helped her up, completely forgetting her feelings of uneasiness. "What do you mean by glow? I'm not luminesce." She didn't notice Foxx's eye or her motion of covering it. "Edgar knows a lot about people like us; he's one too, but from different gods. He can tell who our god parent is and he says we have the same daddy. Oh, I don't have any powers yet, but from the sound of it, you do." She smiled at Foxx, trying to make her less nervous.
