Benji ran a hand through his slightly messy brown hair. "Just follow the path that way," he jerked his thumb to behind the first row of buildings. "It'll lead to the fire pit, and then it divides into cabins for boys and cabins for girls. As I said, your Cabin is B2." He smiled. "I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with it." And Victor should be, he thought, because it had cost them a lot to run this camp. Benji was one of the counselors who had seen to that. The kids deserved it. The cabins had two nice simple beds, two trunks at the bottom, two windows, and even an attatched bathroom. "Oh, and here's the activity schedules and map," Benji remembered, handing one of the brochures next to the laptop to Victor.

"Okay, okay, I'm coming," Henry said, failing to feign annoyance. He caught up to Rain, remembering they would probably hit the river eventually anyway - it bordered the whole east section of the camp if he remembered correctly. He hadn't reviewed his pamphlet that well, but then again, he hadn't been that excited about the prospect of going to camp.

Ayumi nodded at Alex. "That sounds good to me - I haven't been to my cabin either," she laughed. When she looked up she noticed the bus in front of the camp. "Oh hey, someone else is here. We should probably wait. It would really suck to be left out, especially when you have no idea where anyone is." She walked over to the main hall where the boy had apparently gone and went to open the door.

"Dunno," she muttered, staring up at him with half-lidded eyes. The left side of her head was throbbing and she could see two Camerons standing above her. "Stop moving," she begged, closing her eyes so she couldn't see anymore. She tried to sit up, but fell back again from dizzyness. "I was taking the turn....and now I'm over here." Opening her eyes again, she tried to focus on him, but failed. Her skin had paled by now and her eyes had closed again. She was unconsious.

"Okay, then we can go ahead and go to ya'lls cabin so that you can see where it is, then we can take a look around, no?" He watched both girls to see what they would say.

((Haha, cool. And sorry for the shorty on Alex's part...))

Nurse Christina Jenkins was growing bored. She slid her chair over to a laptop where she serached the programs list. With a click she knew exactly where the counselors were. A green tracking dot showed Benji was in the main hall, undoubtedly with his best friend, his laptop. Clarissa, a pink dot, was either watching TV or taking a nap in the Counselor's cabins. The teenagers were probably running around all over the place by now. That was fine with her. She exited the window.

Cameron groaned, noticing from her words and figure that she was in bad shape. They had wandered far from the camp. How would he take her back on a 4-wheeler? "Well, first things first," he said as she drifted into unconsciousness. "Let's get you out of that mud." Carefully and feeling strange, Cameron slipped his hands underneath Odori's body, lifting her up and getting mud all over his hands, which no longer bothered him. Should he come back for Odori's 4-wheeler and carry her on his own? He groaned again, at a loss, before laying Odori's body on her vehicle. Looking quickly it over, he saw that it seemed to have a burnt out battery.

Cameron walked back over to his own 4-wheeler and pulled it up to hers. He would have to drag it back with him to camp, carefully, or carry Odori on his own. He was at a loss. What would Odori want him to do? Making a decision, he picked her up again and put her on his own vehicle, carefully making his way back to camp. He didn't pass anyone on his way back to where the 4-wheelers were all parked, and there were no incidents. Odori was still unconscious as he picked her up and made his way into the nurse's office. "Hello? Is anybody here?" he called out into the dimly light room, with the curtains drawn, hearing a click as if someone was on a computer.

"That sounds good to me," Isabella said, before calling after Ayumi as she went towards the main hall. "We'd better follow her before she gets lost." She walked over with Alex to the main hall building where Ayumi was opening the door. "See anyone?" she asked before it had been completely opened.

Rain was tempted to run ahead just to be able to move, she still didn't know what she was going to do that night especially if there was curfew and she had to stay in the room. No that was a lie she knew what she would do but it was getting caught she didn't feel like dealing with. Looking over to Henry a smiled played on her lips as if she found the world amusing but the silence bothered her as they walked toward the river, "So what brings you here?" Rain asked for something to say but to be honest she didn't know where here was only how to get away because of the bus ride, "Cause I mean honestly you look less than thrilled earlier."

The nurse immediately shut down the computer as she heard a voice at the door of her office. She got up and saw a boy with curly brown hair - Cameron, holding a girl with red hair, blood soaking into it from a wound on the back left side of her head - Odori. She flipped the rest of the lights on. "Lay her down on a bed," she said, all business, nodding to two hospital beds with curtains that could be drawn around them. Christina could feel her heart beating quickly. She wet a clean washcloth, pulled out string and a needle in case stitches were needed, bandages, and some disinfectant.

"Here at camp, or here with you?" Henry asked. He decided to answer both. "Well, I don't know what my parents were thinking. I haven't been since the required 6th Grade one, and it wasn't exactly fun. I followed you because Odori and Cameron seemed busy, and I didn't really know anyone else. I guess that sounds selfish."

Rain laughed and shrugged, "No more selfish than my reasons for waiting on you. I don't like groups of people but I don't really like being alone, the silence gets to me." Waving a dismissive hand about her comment she continued, "If you didn't want to come why didn't you just tell them no?" she asked curiously. She never had a 'real' family so Rain never really understood the so called normal ones. She knew no life was perfect but she also knew few were like hers. Giving him a curious look she waited on an answer as they walked.

Henry shrugged. "They're just parents, you know? I guess all teenagers are a little rebellious, but once their parents have made up their minds, you just kind of have to go with what they want. This is going to sound cheesy... But I think it's because you love them, even if you don't always act like it, even if you fight like cats and dogs." He laughed a little. "Okay yeah, that was uber-cheesy."

Rain shook her head an odd look coming across her face like she had never seen another human before. Turning away to answer him, "It is a good thing you can still love your family and it isn't cheesy to admit. If you can still find the unconditional love for them you are born with it is something to be proud of. It proves you are still human." Looking out into the trees she found herself automatically picking out scenes she would like to draw, but she would do that later. She just wanted to get to the river right now.

Cameron nodded quickly and set Odori on the bed, looking at her with a troubled face. The nurse was a bit intimidating, but if she could help Odori, that was fine with him. He stood back, glancing warily at the nurse, wondering if she would make him leave. He rocked back and forth on the balls of his heels, feeling nervous. Odori's condition hadn't improved, and although he was careful on the ride back, she might have some injuries.

Henry, embarrassed, tried to think of a change in subject. "So... umm... Do aliens count as people?" He was grinning slightly. It was kind of random, but something he had been debating with someone on an online forum, mostly in fun, not seriously. It was something that would probably better the mood though. He thought he heard the trickle of the river in the distance, but he couldn't be sure.

Christina glanced at Cameron briefly. "Are you sure you want to stay?" she asked, going to sit by Odori. "I can't say this will be pretty." She gently wiped Odori's head with the washcloth, staining it a fading red color. "She hasn't lost too much blood. It's a good thing you got her here quickly," the nurse commented, emotionless, her eyes never straying from the task at hand. She hadn't imagined something this serious happening at Blackwood, especially on the first day.

She blearily opened her eyes, staring up at the large ceiling with confusion. She could vaguely see Cameron out of the corner of her eye, but she was preoccupied with the sight of this new person. She seemed...off. "Who...are you?" she asked softly, confused.

Following Ayumi and Isabelle to the main hall, he quickly caught sight of the new boy. Just from looking at the boy he could that he was probably going to get along very well with Rain and Odori, Henry as well. Maybe. Grinning, he let his personality take over and stepped inside. "Hey," he said, glancing from the boy to the man with the lap top, "I'm Alex. We'll be rooming together."

Benji looked up from his laptop again as he heard Alex. "Great. Alex, why don't you show Victor his cabin and introduce him to your friends?" he asked, noting Ayumi and Isabella standing there.

"We could come too," Ayumi added. "We haven't been to ours yet either." She noticed that the new boy didn't have the luxury of his parents putting his bags away for him. Maybe he came in a late bus?

"Don't talk, you'll get a headache," Christina instructed the stirring Odori. "I'm the nurse. It looks like you smacked your head pretty hard. Cameron brought you here." Once she finished cleaning most of the blood off, she reached for the disinfectant. "This may sting," she said, spraying it.

Cameron smiled weakly at Odori, who seemed to be drifting back into consciousness. "She smacked her head on some trees. Er... she was going at a pretty fast speed," he said, deciding not to mention that they had been on the 4-wheelers, in case it landed them in trouble. That was the last thing that he needed now, but he still needed to explain what had happened for Odori to be treated properly, he assumed. He just hoped they wouldn't be found out, even though they were both splattered in mud.

"Yeah, I pretty much forgot what number it was," Isabella said guiltily. "My bags and everything are there though." She looked at his bags as well before noticing that she was staring and looked quickly back up at the boy again. "We'd be glad to show you around the camp, too. At least, what we know of it."

Rain laughed as the thought of aliens brought her mind back to the real world. Turning to look at him she smiled back, "It depends. Do the aliens look like humans or like Jabba the Hut? Because honestly if I saw Jabba sliming down the road I would start laughing instead of thinking, 'what a nice person'." Laughing again she heard the river making her grin at the thought of swimming and where this conversation could go. Though she couldn't say she believed in aliens it was always fun to discuss.
