(Yay!)
The weather change was quick and almost unexpected. A breeze came, making Lexis shiver slightly. It was colder than he'd ever experienced. He smiled, and said, "It might! I think it's cold enough."

"Oh! If it's going to snow I need to get some stuff!" she ran off down the hill, "I'll be right back!" She reappeared five minutes later with a scarf around her neck and a green and red sled dragging behind her from a string she held in her teeth. "All set!" she said, dropping the string as soon as she was sure the sled would slip down the hill again.

Lexis looked at all the stuff Talitah brought. "Wow, I think sledding's gonna be really fun!" He looked up to the sky again, wishing for the first flurries of snow to come down.

"Yep!" she laughed, "Really, really fun!" A lone snowflake landed on her nose, making her blink and look skyward, where tons and tons of fluffy flakes were floating gently down from the clouds.

"Hey, look at that!" exclaimed Lexis, "It's the first snow of the season!" he smiled and watched as millions of little flakes fell upon the ground, stinking to the grass to give it a nice, pure look.

"I wonder how much needs to be on the ground before we can go sledding?" she said, trying to form a snowball in her paws.

"Hmmmm...a thin layer I believe. Enough to make the ground slippery." He wasn't sure how much that would be, but perhaps an inch or two would suffice.

"Well... Until it get's deep enough," she had given up on the snowball, so slung a mushy pawful in Lexis's direction, "How about a snow ball fight?" She grinned and laughed, getting a paw tangled in her scarf.

He dodged the mush and, smiling, he replied, "A snowball fight, huh? That sounds neat!" He gathered up a bit of snow and balled it up. "Ready?" He tossed it out toward Talitha.

She tried to dogde, but got caught on her paw tangled in the scarf and fell in a heap in the snow. "Grrr," she shook the snow from her ears and gathered up more snow in her paws, her green eyes gleaming with delight. "Gotcha now!" she threw the deformed snowball and once again got tangled in her scarf before winding it around her neck a few more times.

Narrowly dodging the snowball (it grazed his side some), Lexis said, "Seems like that scarf's causing you a lot of trouble!" It was in a light tone, but he really didn't like seeing her get all tangled up in it.

"Not entirely..." she flipped it over her shoulder, managing to look somewhat nonchalant while a smile snuck onto her face. Frowning slightly, noticing something was off in the way he had spoken, she fiddled with the scarf some more until she got it settled warmly about herself without fear of tripping over it. She looked up at the sky, then down at the snowladen hill, "Do you think it's deep enough to go sledding yet?"

"I'm not sure." Lexis stuck a paw into the snow to test how deep it was. The snow was really coming down now, and the layer had a thickness of about 1 and a half inches. Smiling, he added, "I think it's good enough though. Let's go try it out, and if it isn't deep enough yet we'll try again later."

"Okie!" Talitha said, dragging the sled over to the edge of the hill, "I think we'd better get on quickly, before it starts sliding..." She held the sled still with the rope in her mouth and waited for Lexis to get on.

"Yeah, we should," said Lexis, walking over. He got onto the sled and waited for it to slide down the hill.
(sorry it's so short...couldn't really think of anything. sweatdrop )
