Lydia stepped back, Artemis blinked. "Your own father tried to kill you?" Lydia said, not exactly surprised, but still taken aback "nevermind, I forgive you," she added, putting a hand on his shoulder, Artemis growled, but not quite so menacingly.

Remix felt herself almost barfing as she saw the dragon emerge from the bush with a dead rabbit. Denica comforted her so she would be ok. They watched the 2 leave and they slowly and silently followed them, hiding behind trees and bushes to try not to get themselves exposed. They weren't very sure what they were doing, but I guess they were bored.

a few minutes went by and linku had been walking like nothing was wrong but his dragon had vanisheda few minutes prior
"so bain..anything?" he asked in his head full well knowing bain could hear him
"hang on a second" was all he got in return.
but no sooner than that conversation had occured than bain had came flying from a tree a few feet behind who was following linku, he didnt attack or nothing because he was still small but he did let out a roar just load enough for linku to find where he was at that moment

Through the tears,Dion gave a small smile,"Yes,well my father is Galbatorix,and thank you.I've never been forgiven by anyone,espacially not that monster." he said,drying his eyes.Quartz looked far-off for a moment,remembering the pain he had felt because of those beatings,then he looked down and smiled.

Remix felt a small tingle of panic inside her, she quickly caught the little winged creature and cupped it's mouth "stop that...it hurts..." she whispered to him. Denica watched Remix as the dragon tried to get out of her grip, she just shook her head and heard footsteps, someone was running, towards them, she looked and saw the man they were following just now.

there was a slight crunching of leaves as linku emerged from behind a tree, his eyes held suprise as he looked the two up and down.
"well didnt expect this" he said as he crossed his arms, waiting to see what they did

Remix looked at the man and at the dragon
"i bet this is yours..." she said as she slowly let go of the dragon's snout
Denica looked at him with a confused look, she walked over beside Remix, curling her tail around her, her eyes watching him, her fire within her, growing, just in case he would try to hurt them.

as she let go of the dragon it turned and went back to linku but stopped half way and kicked its back feet, throwing dirt up at the woman
"that would be bain" he said in airritated tone, his eyes glaring at the dragon once it was sitting beside him as if to scold him for kicking the dirt
"sorry about that...he can be a bit cocky" he said in an apologetic tone

"it's okay..." she said as Remix brushed the dirt off her clothes
she looked at the dragon with small frown "sorry bout that...my ears were hurting..." she said in an apologetic voice. She petted Denica's head to calm her down "this is Denica...I'm Remix..." she said as she watched where she was placing her hand.

"as you already know thats bain" he motioned to the dragon who then snorted.
"and im linku." he then smiled slightly as he looked at the other dragon
"its strange i thought that bain was one of a kind...the only dragon" he chcukled slightly" guess thats what i get for growing up in a village that has hardly anything to do with outside events" he stated as he knelt down and rubbed a spot under bain's chin

Remix only chuckled as she looked at them both "I thought Denica was the only one too...but I guess she's not..." she said as she smiled a bit as Denica placed her head under her Remix' chin "let's just hope they both get along..." she said with a small giggle.

Lydia looked quite serious, "Galbatorix isn't your father, no true father would do that," she glanced behind her, it appeared Artemis had gone hunting, "my name is Lydia, and the dragon is Artemis, and you are....?"
Lydia, I remember this place, Artemis suddenly said, of course you do, Lydia replied, this is where you hatched, oh, right, now I remember, Artemis laughed, I caught a deer! LYdia grimaced, please don't eat it around me, Artemis.

"its not like bain has a choice...he is a small fry compared to her" he said, laughing slightly. but it didnt last long seeing as how bain had quickly spun around and slammed his tail into linku's shins
"ow!..that hurt you know!" he yelled
"good..it was supposed to" bain snorted
"why...you..." linku jeered as he bent down and rubbed his shins trying to make them stop throbbing

Remix giggled a bit and slowly petted bain's head . Denica watched her and laid her head down on the ground, closing her eyes a bit as she felt a bit tired.
