Well then get ready for Orange Box to be the no.1 game for October if NPD counts Steam purchases.
Also, what they hell are you even talking about? We weren't even talking about Doom on Steam. You're the only one that brought that up.

Correction: MGS4 will most likely be a Halo killer. By that time, however, we'll be discussing which game between BWii, MoH:2 and (for W4M) Haze.

EPIC RAY v. REX THROWNDOWN AT SHADOW MOSES! RUMBA IN T3H JUNGA!...well Alaskan Nuclear Facility with giant mechs...

EPIC RAY v. REX THROWNDOWN AT SHADOW MOSES! RUMBA IN T3H JUNGA!...well Alaskan Nuclear Facility with giant mechs...Yes, and by the time they're done, Halo will have been killed, murdered, shanked, and assraped. We'll just be arguing about who gets credited for the kill. We'll then decide between MGS4 and SSBB who nuke'd Halo's dead corpse. Although, the general consensus will be that SSBB was too late what with delays and all. It'll be more of a "Halo beater". New term "(game beater)" beats on a game that has already been killed. They're "overkill" if you will.

Though if recent rumors are to be believed then there will be an MGS PS3 model and if Kojima Productions designs it...) However the whole Halo killing already started... Orange Box was released. HL2, Ep1&2, Team Fortress 2, and Portal. God almighty I don't believe in you but that is ******** gorgeous for $60.00 USD.

Of course, I bring SSBB up because it has the potential to be a much larger selling success than Halo 3, while still being a pretty dominating force for online. Yeah, Orange Box. Don't we already Half Life? Also, its on the 360 and PC, so doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose of Halo killers and bumping M$ out of the video game market?

Wii shouldn't do good shooters unless it takes the MP3 route. Call of Duty 4 by itself trumps any Wii shooter that isn't stylized artistically. Don't care about controls. Anything that takes what is supposed to be done realistic shouldn't be on Wii as far as visuals, sound, and online play goes.
Anything styled is fine by me. Metroid Prime 3 gets the okay.
Orange Box...
Seriously man. It's on 360, PS3, and PC. Portal, Team Fortress 2, Half-Life 2 and both following episodes. 5 games for $60!! 5! I'd hate Valve if they didn't make quality games!
Edit:: Sorry Haze, but FreeRadical already announced Time Splitters 4 WHILE calling Master Chief a monkey and making fun of the Believe marketing. Time Splitters 4 > Haze already.

Yes, we all like MP3, it practically begs to be online play. Well, I don't know about MoH, but BWii looks great. As I've been saying, with Halo, its a 16-person battle. In BWii, its a 4 army WAR. In that sense, it can do a lot more than most shooters, plus, they're fixing all the downsides of the previous game.
Actually, I'm pretty sure that it was $50 on 360/PC and $60 on PS3. That's not killing, that's co-existing. Plus, it's feeding the stereotype that you can get PS3 games on the 360, in this case, earlier and $10 less.

A quick look at Wikipedia tells me that the developers do not like Gears or Halo 3, and the last game was on all 6th gen systems. So, we have no idea what system it's going on, then?

Oh man, Timesplitters 2 is one of the greatest shooters I have ever played, and TS: Future Perfect has one of the best single-player modes of any shooter on the market. I don't care whether or not TS4 is exclusive, just as long as the PS3 gets it.

wow...."Metal Gear is technically a shooter". what the hell is that? everyone knows Metal Gear is stealth action. it defined the stealth action genre. it put the genre on the map. if Metal Gear is a shooter, then you may as well call Splinter Cell a shooter.

Hey, did I ever tell you guys about my friend who went crazy about Halo 3 on release date?
Well, he doesn't have it, but he got to play it. And in his exact words:
"It's good, but it's not spectacular."
I tried to hold back my evil laughter.
