Snagging a piece out, he chewed on it idly while looking around. "Well... I'm sure we could... find some food in the market." He said, starting to wander through. Though it seemed mostly like a ghost town around there.

Aeon was in pain again but she didn't seem like it. Right now she was not happy at all and she remained silent and went on with the child birth.
Abel was walking slowly with his hand over his shoulder that was still bleeding. He was following the trail that the men that took Serenity left behind. He wouldn't stop for anything until he got to them and made them pay for taking his friend.

"It doesn't look like anyone is even here..." Her voice was full of concern. Seeing it empty and a large gap in the sky where the castle was wasn't very reassuring. If there even was a market left, it wasn't likely that anyone was there. "Are you sure we'll find anyone?"

Paradox followed the trail rigidly at a quick jog. He wasn't hurt at all, so his pace was hard for a normal man to keep up with. He came up across a familiar figure as he ran. It was Abel. "Who are you chasing this time?" Paradox asked simply.

Abel heard someone coming up from behind him and he turned slightly to see Paradox coming. He let out a sigh and kept walking. When the man spoke to him he looked over and gritted his teeth thinking about it. "I'm following those bastards that took Serenity and shot me." he said to him. "Not that you would really care though."

Black looked around and sighed. "I'm sure there will be some market stands with some meat and fruit in them. Alls we need is to just take and we're good. I don't think anyone is going to notice a few lost pieces of fruit and meat."

Paradox glanced over Abel. The man didn't seem quite in the condition to catch somebody, let alone save anybody. "You won't get anything done in the condition you are now. Do you need help?" Paradox asked.

Abel shook his head, "Why would I need help from you? All you seem to do is make Serenity sad." he said as she still walked slowly after his friend. He could actually use help but he didn't trust Paradox.

The man continued walking, but grabbed Abel. "Well, I'm not leaving you behind." Paradox said simply. His arm pulled, and Abel was lifted off the ground. Then put safetly onto Paradox's shoulder. "I will take care of the men. You will take care of Serenity." Paradox finished simply, before starting back into a quick jog.

Sarah had to laugh at him. There was no hiding it. "You think we're going to get meat here? I've had meat from this city before. It's tough and the worst tasting thing I've ever had! You can't call that meat! Besides, what do we need it for when we can hunt? I'm not that far along, you know. It wouldn't be hard for me, or straining, for me to string my bow and shoot something!"

"Oh hush, I usually eat around here. I've had the best steak here before. Undeniably the best anyway." Black said as they wandered forward. "Besides, fruits do a whole lot better for you then meat ever will." He said as they continued. At least until they got to the turn for the market district. "I'll let the lady go first."

Abel's eyes went wide as he was lifted from the ground and put on Paradox's shoulder. "Put me down!" he screamed as the man started to run. He hated being carried like this.
Serenity let out a cry as she was knocked the ground. Her wrists and ankles were still tied. The man that had hit her smirked and grabbed her shirt as he lifted her up from the ground some. She had a few cuts on her arms and legs and her lip was bleeding now. She wouldn't fight back, but her anger was starting to rise along with the unimaginable power that was within her. Her silver eyes looked away from the man as he punched her in the gut and tossed her back to the ground.

This was the perfect opportunity to make him take the lead and be a man or once. "Well, if I get attacked because I'm in front and our children die, don't blame me. I mean, it is a horrible time and people would probably attack kids in the streets if it meant they could eat." It was a low blow, but she felt no guilt for it.

Paradox continued running. "You can kill me later. I will put you down soon enough, anyway." the man said unlabored at the pace he was running. They were getting closer. He could almost smell them on the air now. He heard a cry, the sound of somebody being harmed. They were very close.
