Marta growled in an annoyed tone and gripped her spinner. "Alice, you're such a fool! I'm trying to help you both! Mostly my father, but you too since I kind of have no choice. Now quit being stubborn and listen to me before Sesshomaru comes and slaughters you both!"

Quickly, Roland pulled the trigger of his one silent revolver sending a speeding bullet directly towards the head of Alice. "Shut up." He mouthed as he saw the bullet fly.

Alice dodged the bullet and smirked "not bad but that was very rude! Dispose of him my minions! " she yelled as a group of monsters attacked Roland
Brute grinned as he sent another pillar of earth at the group

Gear gasped, unable to do much more than back up as bullets wizzed by him. This was wrong! People should fight to the death! Heck, he had just told the other guy not to kill the soldiers, and they shoot at him!? He didn't want to get shot. He'd been shot before, back before he'd become a bang baby. It was horrible...
Hotstreak saw Gear, and did something he didn't often do; he swore. "s**t, he's freezing up! Someone get him outta there!"
"Jack-Bots!" Jack called. "Get Spandex back over with Hotstreak and the others!" he ordered, turning to point and inadvertently showing off his Warlord Sword to Brute and Alice. He turned back in time to see the pillar, quickly switched his sword from fire to earth, and cleaved it in two, slowing it considerably and sending it crashing into Brute's own troops.
The two Jack-Bots zipped over from nowhere, simultaneously grabbing Gear and shielding the helmeted youth from any bullets that would have hit him, and began flying quickly back towards the main group.

"Meditation is good for one thing!" Roland yelled as he reached into his back pocket and pulled out a silver bullet. He didn't bother with the soldiers though, and had Oy and David distract them so that he could get to Alice. His plan was almost foolproof.

Marta gripped hr spinner and dodged the pillar of earth. "I don't want to fight you, Daddy, but if it means helping you then I guess I have no choice. I have something I want to tell you, but I can't when you're like this." She looked over to Emil, seeing if he'd be willing to personally help her fight Bruce since she knew if any on else fought him they'd most likely kill him.
Oomizu looked down to Hotstreak. "Say, would you get upset with me later if I accidently made you good for a little bit? See, it's hard for me to do my purifying attacks if I'm keeping from letting any of that energy get to you, so, yeah... I promise it'd only be temporary. An hour at most. It won't hurt if it does happen, you'll just feel... different."

"Go for it," the metahuman replied, watching as the robots gracelessly dumped Gear a few feet from them. "I don't really believe in the whole 'true good and evil' bull, so I doubt it'll actually do anything to me."

Brute growled as he hesitated to send a rock attack at Marta's direction and instead sent it to Roland and the meta humans
Alice giggled as she dodged the bullets again

Roland rolled when the earth barrier was about to hit him so he dodged most of it. He ended up almost directly in front of Alice with a silver bullet in one hand. "Palavor." He mumbled as he looked at her eyes and tried to hypnotize the girl.

"Hang on," Hotstreak instructed, making sure his grip on Oomizu was sound. He reached for Gear's arm, and dragged the younger bang baby along as he ran to get out of the way. Once they were safe, he looked over to see the robots had dodged, as well.

Marta bit her lip. She could tell her fther was trying to get back some control f himself, but it wasn't quite enough. She whispered "Please forgive me, Daddy..." before charging at him. "Cresend Dance!"
Oomizu did as she was told and gripped onto him. "Well, the reason I ask is because I've heard of Good Jack, and Good Jack is even worse than Mister Rogers.... There's a possibility of you getting to Good Jack level." With out any other warning, Oomizu allowed her and Hotstreak to be surounded in her purifying energy as she set of 4 more arrows on the bow and shot them at oncoming enemies. As each arrow went out, it took with it a little of the purifing energy with it, but there was still so much left that it allowed her to ontinue sending arrows with out stopping for long.

"This feels weird," Hotstreak noted, but then saw the ball of magma heading their way. With a massive force of power, he sent jets of flames straight down, propelling him, Oomizu, and Gear out of danger.
Kain was busying himself killing as many of the troops as he could, occasionally draining the blood of someone if he'd taken too much damage. This was the kind of battle he most enjoyed. True, facing a single opponent with great skill - a real challenge - was generally more interesting, but this... slaughtering those that, instead of mindlessly fleeing, were desperately fighting for their lives, with all of the confusion, anger, fear, determination... There was nothing better.
Jack didn't miss the way Marta's father hesitated, and attacked others instead. She was right; Brute was fighting it - at least, when his daughter was in immediate danger. Perhaps, if this was a man with a strong sense of honor, he could be swayed into a one-on-one match, and perhaps could appeal to the sword, as well... After all, whatever was in it couldn't possibly pass the chance to get stronger, right? Still, he'd have to make a back-up plan before trying this one out, and instead sent a wave of ice towards the magma, trying to slow it down before realizing the others were already safe.
