Marta saw Brute and frowned before running up as close to him as she could while avoiding any attacks that the troops may send. "Daddy! It's us! Please, wait a little and listen to me!"
Oomizu loaded several arrows into the bow and shot prepared to shoot as need be.
Edward rearranged Rosette so she was on his back and glared to Kirara. "You're trying to get my throat ripped out, aren't you?" She clapped his hands together before sweeping his normal hand across the automail, converting it into a blade.

Temari fell back slightly, now behind Inuyasha, continuing to conceal her large stomach from behind her fan. "Inuyasha...just be careful.." She whispered before she kissed his neck from behind, now beginning to fall back from the group, not wanting to endanger her children in the least.
Rosette, who was still too weak to support herself, blushed gently at the new position she was in on his back, but held onto him tightly, burying her head into his back, closing her eyes tightly as she bit her bottom lip.
Kirara only laughed as she looked back at Edward with a sheepish smirk. "Oh you, Alucard wouldn't hurt a fly...and besides, I can tell that the fire in your stomach lights up when you see her, like when she got hurt that one time...because you forgot to fix the floor. Just face it Ed, you're crushing on her..." She was most uncensored that way, not taking into consideration the effects of her comments on people.

Edward was starting to get annoyed, and the look on his face only proved it. "I am not! Don't tell me you wouldn't feel guilty if you were the reason some one you met a few minutes ago snapped their neck because you were careless. I'm just trying to help out as best as I ca. I barely understand what all's going on, last thing I need is for my head to be in a fog."
Oomizu looked over to Edward and Kirara, unintentionally pointing the arrows on the bow at them. "Both of you shut up! Now is not the time to be talking about your feeling!"
Starfire looked to Lum and blinked. "I looked upset? I had not really noticed."
Kikyo leaned against Link, cringing a little as she felt the baby readjust itself in her. "It's starting to get restless..."

"Hey, hey, Hotstreak! I've got an idea!" Gear began. "Firewall!"
At that, one of Hotstreak's eyebrows shot up. It was obvious he wasn't making the connection with computers and the position they were in now.
"Y'know. Fire wall," Gear clarified, grinning.
"...I got ya," the older metahuman replied, grinning darkly himself. It wouldn't be the first time he made a wale of flames, but he hadn't made one quite that big... Concentrating, he created a wall of flames in front of the troops, blocking quite a sizable portion of their ranks. It wasn't enough, however, as there was enough room on either side for the soldiers to get around. "Well... It'll at least slow them down..."

"It's not the size of your fwoosh, it's how you use it. I mean, seriously, how many people do you know would be suicidal enough to run at a wall of fire after it's just appeared out of no where?" Oomizu was watching the troups carefully, keeping the arrows ready. She wasn't adding any purifying energy to them yet since she was afraid of "what would happen if I accidently purified Hotstreak?"

Kirara only laughed, nodding to him. Then to Oomizu, she raised her arms in a slight defensive position. "Okay, okay Oomizu-chan, I'll stop...for now..." She muttered the last part to herself before she noticed Hotstreak's attack. She then rushed up to him, smirking. "Need some help?" She asked, flames forming in her hands and about her now.
Rosette continued to hold onto Edward tightly, her arms wrapped around her neck in a tight yet loose fashion, not wanting to cut of his breathing because she was scared. Her breathing was returning to normal, but it was still strained, her body not quite yet used to her partially healed state. "Ed...thank you..." She whispered to him
Hitomi glanced around for a moment before she saw another vision pass through her mind quickly. She soon snapped out of it before she turned on her heel and ran into the woods that was at her right, sprinting as fast as her legs could muster.

"C'mon, Oomizu, think about the kinds of people we go up against," Jack said to his goddaughter, with a small laugh.
"Yeah, a little extra firepower couldn't hurt," Hotstreak replied, focusing more on his wall than anything.
"Hey, if that's the case, I'll add some of mine to the mix, too!" the albino genius called, grinning as he drew the warlord sword and began charging it with fire.
"Um, hey, where do you think she's going?" Gear asked, jabbing a thumb in the direction Hitomi had gone.
"I think you should be less worried about her and more worried about what's going to happen if and when those soldiers over there get past the wall of flames over there," Etna replied.
Kain, not generally one to be left out of a fight, focused on some of the troops he could see, attempting to immolate them.

Kirara smirked before she brought back her hands to her chest for a moment, closing her eyes for a moment. Her fangs then grew out as her eyes began to turn red. She then shot out her arms, extending them out in front of her, sending another wall of flames beside Hotstreak's, adding to the over power of the attack.
Hitomi continued to run until she reached the center of forest, grasping her head in her hands as she fell to her knees. "N-Nh!" She muttered as she gasped for air, pain and sorrow filling her soul now. Her powers were going haywire now, her pendant glowing brightly as she began to go sparratic, screaming as she did so.

((lol Thank you. xd )) Oomizu opened her mouth to say something, but then she smiled and shrugged. "Ok, yeah, valid point. We do fight a bunch of whack jobs, huh? ...Not that this group's much better."Shippo squeaked in a way that showed he agreed before he went into his fighting form, holding onto the sword with his mouth as his nine tails swayed.Edward looked over his shoulder at Rosette and smiled gently. "Heh, no sweat. I'm used to helping others out. Just try to get better, alright? As soon as things calm down a little, I'll put you over by Kikyo and Link so they can keep an eye on you."Deidara walked up to Hitomi, looking down to her with an eyebrow raised slightly. Who knows where he came from or where he's been. All I know is he just magially popped out of no where and looked down at Hitomi. "What're you so upset about, hmm? Don't you know how stupid it is to run off on your own in mid-battle, hmm?"((Here's Durban's post.)) Durban59 Alucard just jumped away when he saw where his head was, and tried his best not to make the situation any more awkward. "Gah, I'm sorry!" He told her, thankful that she was, at least, healed greatly. "I'm just glad you're all right.." He whispered to himself.

Marta dodged the pillar and turned to the group. "Watch out guys!" She then turned and ran towards Brute, stopping when she was only a few yards away. "Daddy, listen to me. That sword you're weilding is evil. It possesses who ever has it. Not only that, but it's going to cause bad things to happen. Right now, some one else with a sword like that's on their way to kill you so they can have your sword. I don't want you to die, Daddy. That's why I want you to give us the sword so we can get rid of it for good."

"No! Get back here!" Jack ordered, activating his heli-bot to fly after Marta. "The sword's in control of him, they don't like to give up or lose! He's going to kill you!"
"We gotta help them!" Gear declared, activating his jet-blades and flying towards the soldiers. The fire was disconcerting enough for them, but he'd add to it to trip them up further. He threw a few zap-caps here and there; the original ones, with nothing but a charge of electricity that was like ball lightning. Hopefully, that would get at least some of them to think this battle not worth it, and run.
"Prinny Raid!" Etna called, sending prinnies here and there to fall from the sky on the troops, exploding upon contact.
"No, don't kill them!" Gear gasped, horrified. "They're human! They've got families and loved ones!"
"None of that matters when they're trying to kill you, foolish boy!" Kain snarled. With a massive force of will and power, he leaped across the field and over the wall, slashing at anyone who was too close with the Soul Reaver, killing their bodies as the sword devoured their souls, ensuring none could be revived.
"No! Stop!"
"Something tells me this battle isn't going to end so well..." Hotstreak noted.

Alice walked up behind Brute "Thats right little Mart Mart Brute doesnt care about you any more so just give up and get ready to die!"
The Troops fired at the group the bullets just grazing Gear

Marta looked to Jack and frowned. "I know, but-... I know deep down in there my father's still in there. It can't hurt to try reasoning with Daddy." She then turned when she heard Alice and growled slightly under her breath. "I'm not going to buy that for a minute, Alice. Besides, you're in as much danger as he is if that sword isn't destroyed. I told you already, some one's coming to kill you. The guy is a demon... Literally! As much as I don't like you, Alice, I don't want this guy t kill you both and take this sword. Please, just listen to what I have to say!"
Oomizu added purifying energy to the arrows and shot them through the fire wall, causing them to catch fire but not burn away. The arrows hit several people who had tried coming towards the group, causing her to sigh. She then looked to Gear. "It can't be helped, Gear. I hate the bloodshed too, but.... Well, it's needed. There are few times in any world's history where an important event occured that didn't require people to die... Trust me, it's hard at first, but you'll get used to this sort of thing sooner or later."
