Jack's tail had been swishing back and forth happily, but at the mention of friends who were no longer there, it drooped a bit. "The... The last goddess we talked to said that she didn't know if they were really dead or just back at their homes... That we'd have to ask the god of death..." he began, looking down. Looking back up, he asked, "But, I don't trust her. She hurt Chase. You'll tell us, right Emmet?"

Jack's tail perked up, again. "So that means they might be okay!" he exclaimed. "That's a much better answer than that goddess gave us. It was like she was tryin' to take our hope, or somethin'..."

The God laughed "Maybe in another string you are, but i see great hope for you on this one Jack... And tell me, would you want to avenge your comrades deaths if you knew they were still alive? would you all still strive to defeat the warlord if you knew that your friends were safe and alive? or would you just give yourselves up and die yourselves just to leave these worlds? to the grasp of the warlord?
