Kirara laughed, rubbing the back of her neck with a sweatdrop. "Well I'm not one for 'spells' per say, but yes, I know what you're referring to at least." She said with a slight nod.
Temari glanced back at the town, which was still in sight from where they were positioned at at that moment. She then counted heads with a sigh. "Well, those who're missing...besides Emil and Marta, are Hitomi, Rosette, and Oomizu. So I think...Rosette was the one who was in the building?"

Hotstreak shrugged. "I don't know who it was, honestly. Was more interested in not getting left behind."
"And leaving them behind doesn't bother you at all!?" Gear asked, astounded that someone could at least seem so uncaring, if nothing else.
"Listen Mr. High-And-Mighty, you're neither still back there or rushing back to help, so don't talk to me like I'm some kind of demon and you're some kind of saint!" the redhead shot back. He got so tired of people talking down to him, at times. A guy could only take so much before snapping.
"Don't worry about it," Jack replied to Kirara, waving a hand dismissively. "It's not that big a deal, really."
Kain had been paying attention to the conversations that were going on, even if it didn't seem like it. "Etna, if we are going to bet, we're going to need to find something to bet with..."
"Good point..." the demon girl in question conceeded, putting a finger to her chin in thought. "How about... With weapons?"
"No. My sword is too crucial to gamble."
"Well, you come up with an idea, then..."

Temari sighed. "Hotstreak, Gear. Quit it. You two are nothing more than just human...despite your 'abilities', so just stop it." She said, rubbing her temples now.
Soon, there was a cloud of dust approaching them. A figure soon emerged from it, it being Hitomi using her supersonic speed. She took skidded to a stop a ways away from them, tugging down the ends of her schoolgirl skirt before she made her way over to them, panting softly. "Hey." She said to Hotstreak and Gear with a weak smile.
Kirara laughed gently, lowering her hand to her side before she looked back at Hitomi, noticing her arrival. "Hm..." She began as she observed her for awhile, silent and curious now.

((Hey, the riddle in your sig; is the answer a clock? 'Cause I'm pretty sure it is, and I wanna know if I got one right or not. xp ))
"Well, technically, we're mutations, so..." Gear began, but stopped upon seeing Hitomi. "Is everything alright? Hotstreak here just told us that someone got hurt; didn't even know who it was!"
"Right, 'cause I'm the bad guy, and blah blah blah," the older metahuman snarked, rolling his eyes. Looking to Jack, he asked, "Hey, when do we next get to hit something? Y'know, without the 'good guys' getting ticked at me?"
Spicer couldn't help but chuckle a bit at that. Understanding Hotstreak's feelings on that subject completely, he decided on a truthful reply. "Not sure. We get attacked almost at random, or at least it feels like it. Sometimes there's noticeable planning from whatever enemy we're going up against, but really, it feels more random than anything."
"So, you're saying anywhere from the next half-hour to the next few days, right?"
"Basically."

Hitomi blinked at everyone. "Well I stumbled in at a weird time." She noted to herself, still panting slightly.
"Why yes! You did!" Kirara chimed in, clasping her hands together as she giggled cutely the entire time.
Hitomi sighed, narrowing her eyes at the dark-haired demon only slightly, mostly out of annoyance if anything. "Oh shut up." She said with a sigh before glancing back at Gear, although keeping most of her attention on the conversation between Jack and Hotstreak. "Hn well, Oomizu got there just in time...thanks to Ed going to get her, and so yeah, Rosette will hopefully make a full recovery..." She told the spandex-clad teen happily.

"Think about it, though; is there ever a normal time to stumble in on this group?" Jack asked, before laughing.
"Well, it's at least good to hear she'll be okay..." Gear began. "Still, I feel bad about leaving you guys in the dust like that..." he added, rubbing at the back of his neck.
"Does he always feel guilty when he really didn't do anything wrong like this?" Etna asked Hotstreak, curiously.
"Just 'cause we're from the same world doesn't mean I ever hung out with him."
"Like I'd want to hang out with a criminal who's on the run!"
"Was I talking to you? No, I'm pretty sure I was having a conversation with this kid here."
"I'm not really a kid, you know..."

Kirara looked back at Jack and nodded slowly, grinning a toothy grin the entire time. "That's very true."
Temari only sighed, holding onto her rather large stomach with one hand as she leaned back against a tree, taking this time to rest for a moment.
Hitomi shrugged gently. "It's fine. I'm just glad I could find her before the vision I had could come true..." She said with a smile.
"Vision? Hitomi, what kind would that be?" Kirara asked, her multiple tails swaying gently as she stared at the younger girl innocently.
"Well, I saw that she was going to die in a tragic accident, but we got to her before that could happen..." Hitomi said with a wave of her hand, much like Jack would do, dismissing the topic immediately. She didn't like to converse with people about the pessimistic visions she contracted on a regular basis.

Lum, who was also beside Roy and Bunko, blinked at Temari's actions to the red-head who was now face-first in the dirt. "Uh..." She began, but couldn't form the words properly in her mouth.
Roland silently walked down the path most of the others were following without a single word. Both of his revolvers were holstered and David and Oy were following behind him.

Miroku smiled as Ai held on to him. "Ai after this i think we should take a good long rest"
Inuyasha returned to Temari's side after checking with the others "So what did i miss Temari?"
Emil looked over to the horizon as Tenebrae floated to his side
"Master Emil Hes close we should run into his party in less then an hour"
"Looks like we should get ready then right Marta?"

Revy had over heard Tenebrae and began to check her ammunition, just to make sure she was fully loaded before a maybe-battle. She sighed to herself as she took off her turtleneck to reveal a black tank top that matched her red plaid skirt she was wearing. She was starting to get too warm.

Temari hugged Inuyasha happily. "Oh, just conversing about Rosette, who got hurt in a building collapse...but according to Hitomi, she's fine. Oomizu healed her." She said with a smile before she sighed, rubbing her rather large belly. "They're going to be coming soon Inuyasha...you ready?"
Lum sighed before she looked back to her handsome fiance and their 'daughter'. "Bunko dear. There's no need to be so frightened, these people are our comrades and friends..." She told her with a smile, patting her head.

((I've missed a lot, but I'll try to catch up.))
Marta looked to Emil, her face extremely serious and nodded. The others would catch up sooner or later, but right now she just wanted to get to her father before something else happened.
Ed looked to Oomizu and scratched the back of his neck. "Hey, Oomizu, I don't think this Doctor Cocks you're waiting for is going to come. Maybe we should just take her back to the ship. Besides, you look exhuasted. I mean, no offense, but you look like you've gone through hell."
Oomizu stood up and panted, wiping the sweat off her brow while panting havily. She hadn't stopped trying to heal Rosette since she'd started and was feeling tired, but she didn't want to admit it. "I'm not... going to just... sit back and.. risk some one... else getting hurt... I'll help... even if I have to... crawl on my belly... to keep up..."
"Boy, you sure are persistent..."
"It's one of... my flaws that... people find charming... Carry her, please? We can... leave her with.. my mom and dad..." She turned and started walking back towards the group. When she got there, she stopped right behind Hotstreak before her head suddenly collasped forward and made cntact with his back. She mummbled an apology, but didn't show sign she'd take her forehead off his back any time soon.
Edward picked up Rosette and carried her bridal style, reaching the group with Oomizu around the same time.

Rosette, who was slowly starting to slip back into reality, could hear and feel all that was around her. She knew that she was being carried, and from the metal feeling she was getting on her back, she knew that it was Ed. The thought of his holding onto her like that caused her to blush, although still unconscious for the time being.
Hitomi, who was trying to get out of talking about her visions of death, smiled when she saw Oomizu, Edward, and Rosette. "Oh good! You're all safe!" She exclaimed happily as she rushed over to them. "Is she okay? Will she be fine in the long run?" She asked Oomizu, still scared over the life of her closest friend here.
Kirara smiled as she bounded over to the three that had just arrived. "Oh~?" She began as she sniffed the young, unconscious blond before poking her face with her index finger. "Her face is hot, does she have a fever?" She thought out loud. "No, it's more like she's blushing...since her face is a light pink..." She then looked up at Ed, who continued to carry her before snickering. "Oh, I see now..."
