Airelesanya Wild Pidgey appeared! Level: 6 Attacks: Tackle, Sand-Attack "Aaah!" Jenna cried as a wild Pidgey jumped into the air in front of her. Her walking stick clattered to the ground as she dropped it in her rush to get Clefairy out of her packsack. The wild Pidgey stared at them in suspicion, hopping from one foot to the other. "Clefairy! Sing!" Jenna commanded, pointing at the Pidgey. More than anything, Jenna didn't want her Clefairy hurt by this pokemon, not after what she had just heard from Professor Oak. Clefairy stepped infront of Jenna and sang a lulling tune, trying to disarm the wild bird pokemon. The pidgey's head started drooping and it had nearly tucked it's whole head under it's wing before it shook off the effects of Belle's attack. Angered by the trick, it flew in and tackled Belle, slamming the small pink pokemon to the ground. "Clefairy! Jenna shrieked, aghast at the bruises forming on her pokemon's skin. She shouted encouragement, determined that her pokemon would not lose it's first fight. "You can do this! Pound attack!" Belle leapt to her feet and released a devastating punch to the pidgey. "Cleeeefairy!" Belle growled as she hit the bird. The pidgey, visibly reeling from the blow, kicked sand into Belle's face, hoping to blind the angered little pokemon. Jenna would have none of that, and sent Clefairy in again with a heafty pound attack. The pidgey took this hit as well, a stinging blow to it's right wing and drooped in the grass. Jenna grabbed one of her unusued pokeballs from her belt and threw it at the pidgey. The little ball encased the bird and settled on the ground, rocking and shaking. Jenna and Belle held their breath, waiting to see if they would have to go another round..........The pokeball held! The pidgey was theirs! Jenna scooped up her Clefairy and swung her around. "Woohoooo! We did it! Great job, Belle!" She hugged her battered pokemon gently. "Let's get you back to Pallet town! You look like you could use a nap at Nurse Joy's." Jenna walked over and picked up the newly captured Pidgey and sent Clefairy to rest inside her pokeball. With a light step and a beaming smile, Jenna returned to Pallet Town.

Kasiya stopped and stared the man straight in the eye. "Why don't you just tell me the truth?" she asked, unhooking a Pokeball and recalling Shocker. She followed up with Ariel and Growly. "And no, I didn't spot you from the gym. I was pretty much behind you the entire way. Don't you admit that it looked rather suspicious, jumping over the fence like that?"

"The truth is I was just speaking with the curator of the museum with this odd fossil I found on my here through Mt. Moon. He's not entirely sure what it is in fact. Though he beleives that the discovery is worth more than anything I have of value on me." Venerax shrugs.
" I was thinking of heading down to Pallet Town to see Professor Oak maybe he would have more insight into it, or at least point me in the right direction," He looks pointedly back at Kasiya. "Though now I must wait until Calculus is felling better. So I will probably be staying in the Poke-center for a day or two."
He looks Kasiya up and down. "I suppose you're another espiring trainer, and just received another badge for the Pewter Gym?"

Kasiya stared at her shoes for a moment. "I'm really sorry," she said, almost so quietly he couldn't hear her. "I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions." She reached into her bag and pulled out a Potion. "Here, why don't you use this? It should help your um...Calculus to feel better? I don't think I'll end up using it. "Oh...also, I don't think that Professor Oak knows too much about fossils. You might want to head south to Cinnabar Island. I read that they do research on fossil regeneration, although they haven't had any major breakthroughs recently." She looked up and gave a small smile, hoping that her information would help lighten the mood. She continued to hold the Potion out to him, wondering if he would take it.

Bryn watched Jenna leave and looked to Professor Oak. "Ever the popular one eh Professor?" Bryn said and smiled. Professor Oak chuckled lightly and tested Hunter for her reflexes. "I have to admit Bryn, she interests me. Now I apologize for calling you back here so soon however this little pokemon found its way to me and its curious as all things." He said and she noticed that it was an Eevee "I have set up this right here to help me out. As you know an Eevee can evolve into many different evolutions it starts out as normal then deciding on trainer, water, fire, electric, dark, psychic. However no one knows why, of course there are theories but I of course want to know fully. We know some pokemon can only evolve with help from a stone such as this Vulpix only a fire stone can help it to be come a Ninetails and we know its in its genetic makeup, so what about Eevee's genetic make up makes it so special. I needed your assistance with my contraption here." Professor Oak continued to explain the procedure
"As you have noticed I didn't take into consideration as I was building it having you leave. I appreciate you coming back this will take a few hours." Professor Oak said and Bryn went over to her pokemon and placed them outside of his lab to let them play. Hunter ran right to the ball shooter and pressed the button with her paw and a ball shot out and she ran. Ace had found a wonderful sand area and started digging.
Bryn went back inside and quickly to her spot with her controls and helped Professor Oak with his testings on the Eevee.

((aww...now Kilik is all alone on Cinnabar Island...))
Kilik smiled as Nina left. He stood up to his feet and looked at his Flareon. "Well, Flareon?"
"Flare!!" it barked happily.
"Let's go find ourselves a new Pokemon." He said, giving it a thumbs up and heading out the Pokemon Center. The air of Cinnabar Island was thick and smelled a lot like charcoal, almost the exact opposite of the fresh air he knew back home in Verdanturf. He noticed a trainer walking around with a strong looking Raticate. "Excuse me!" he said, running up to him. The Flareon was right on his heels.
"Yes?" the other trainer replied, turning his attention away from the rat Pokemon.
"Where did you catch that?" Kilik asked, pointing at the Raticate.
"Why, right in that old abandoned warehouse." The boy motioned to an old run-down building next to the Gym, "There are a lot of Pokemon in there." Kilik's eyes widened.
"Thank you!!" he laughed, dashing off to the warehouse.
"Flar! Eon! Flare!" The fire fox chased its owner.

Kasiya sighed, and looked around. She didn't like the way he was looking at her. "Look," she said, pulling a pen out of her pocket. "I've gotta be on my way. If you need any help regarding your fossil, just call me on my PokeNav, alright?" She scribbled her number, as well as her name, on the label of the potion, and thrust it into his hands before he could object. "Again, I'm really, very sorry!" and she dashed off towards the Pokemon Center, thankful to be out of that awkward situation.

Kilik slowly opened the door to the old warehouse. The carpets were cinged on the sides and torn as well. Some of the pillars were crumbling to the ground. "Hello?" he said, taking a few steps in. There was nobody here. Flareon walked slowly behind the boy.
"Flare..." it whimpered, its ears drooping slightly. Kilik blinked. He swore that he saw something floating in the corner.
"Come on," he whispered to Flareon, taking very small steps toward the floating object.

After a quick round in the regeneration machine and a quick lunch, Kasiya and her three companions headed east towards Mount Moon. Kasiya knew that Cerulean City lay beyond the mountain path, but that would not stop her from attempting her second badge challenge. She stopped to pull out one of the few books she carried around with her, and started to read as she walked. "Cerulean City...." she mumbled, looking up every now and then to make sure she wasn't walking into anything or anyone. "Misty...water types..." She smiled, knowing Pikachu should be able to dish out quite a bit of damage. "I should get a grass type too," she thought out loud, the mountain range looming impressively in the horizon.

Kilik's footsteps echoed on the tile floor of the old warehouse. It was eerily quiet. "Koff...ing..." a voice whispered. The boy stopped dead in his tracks. "What...was that?" he looked around. The floating object came out from the shadows. It was a floating purple ball: a Koffing. In surprise, Kilik fell over onto his backside. "Ow..." he whimpered, scooting back. He had never seen a Koffing before. "Flare! Eon! Flare Flare!!" his Pokemon barked. Kilik smiled and stood up. "Flareon! Attack!!" Wild Koffing Appeared! Level: 13 Attacks: Poison Gas, Tackle, Smog

Kasiya walked for a few hours, enjoying the scenery, and secretly hoping for another trainer to battle. The road was well travelled, but deserted. She wondered why no one but her was going to or coming from Mount Moon, but her mind wandered as she watched a flock of Pidgey pecking at the grass, looking for any traces of food. She was only slightly worried that she didn't have a map of the tunnels inside of the mountain, but she hoped it had signs to help travellers avoid becoming lost.

"Koffing!" it taunted. Kilik clenched his teeth and looked down at the Flareon.
"Hit it with a Tackle attack, Flareon!" he barked. The fire Pokemon jumped into the air. Swiftly, the Koffing hovered to the left, dodging the attack.
"Koff Koff Koffing!" it said, putting a little laughter behind it. Flareon jumped at it again, and yet another dodge. Kilik snapped his fingers.
"Flareon, use Sand-Attack!" Kilik ordered. This was a very simple task in this place. Flareon turned around and kicked its hind legs, blowing up dust in the Koffing's face. After a few moments, the fire Pokemon turned around and jumped into the dust. Koffing was knocked from the cloud of dust and into a pillar.
"Koffing!" it said in an angery tone. A purple smoke began to emit from its mouth, flooding the area. Both Kilik and his Flareon began to cough.
"A Smog attack..." the boy said after lifting the front of his shirt over his nose, "Flareon! Try another Tackle!" It did as it was told and jumped at Koffing. Another connection. The Koffing floated back up slowly, wobbling as he did so. It then flew at Flareon, doing a Tackle attack of its own.

Jenna strode back into Pallet town with her head held high and went immediately to the Pokemon Center and Nurse Joy. "Nurse Joy! My Clefairy and I battled a Pidgey and I caught it! Can you heal them for me so we can get going?" she asked, leaning anxiously up against the counter. Nurse Joy smiled. "Of course! Here, hand me your pokeballs and I'll call you when they're done." Jenna handed over her two full pokeballs and Nurse Joy put them into her machine. That done, Jenna looked around for something to do, but seeing nothing but a comfy looking couch, she sat down to wait.
