Lina's own eyes narrowed as she watched him walk, her daggers ready to attack him if necessary, "Naive? No, but evil...yes."

Troden actually laughed as he heard this, "Evil? Is that what you think of me? Well, I am not surprised that you think my methods are..evil as you say for they're not yours. Just because my ways are unorthodox does not mean they are evil.." he said as he was only an arm's length away from her. He slowly raised his right hand towards her as he said, "If I was evil, I could kill you right now..."

And that was Lina's cue to react. Her left hand shot out, holding a dagger tightly as it pressed against Troden's neck, "You will never have that chance Troden."

Remus's eyes slowly opened. He glanced around for a moment before he remembered where he was. He shifted to his wolf form feeling a need to be in it and drank from the stream. He looked around for a moment and was confused yet again when Lina was nowhere to be found. He sniffed around for a moment until he had her scent. He began to follow it slowly. He knew she could take care of herself, he just wanted to know where she'd gone.

Troden grinned even more as he grabbed her wrist, painfully pulling it away from him, dagger and all, "Like I said Lina. I am not what I was before..." the dagger slowly turned back towards its owner, its blade gleaming in the moonlight.

The blades was shaking as the two vampires struggled with it, but Lina knew her strength was far weaker than Troden's. But she was not going to let such a man defeat her easily.

Remus looked up as a flash caught his eye. His heart began to beat faster as he saw what the flash was. The moonlight had caught the dagger and Remus now saw the struggle. His legs began to race beneath him. He threw himself at Trodan, changing into his Hybrid form in midair.

The moonlight lanced over his eyes as his right hand slowly slipped into his right holster, wrapping his fingers around it like he had been waiting to do ever since he fought Lina long ago, "Let me finish that fight for you..." he said, pulling the gun out and firing. He suddenly was flown aside, his hold on the gun was gone as he hit the ground hard.

As Troden fell, their hold on each other was gone as well, causing her to fall backwards as the bullet dug into her shoulder. Lina cried out as she fell hard against the ground afew yards away. Pain flooded her body before the blessed darkness took hold.

Remus toppled and rolled over past Trodan. He stood up a low growl in his throat, prepared to spring again. "I swear, if you continue this battle, you will feel a bite. If that bite does not kill you, it will change your life forever." Remus moved in a circle around Trodan, knocking away his gun and standing between him and Lina.

His shoulder began to shake in quiet laughter as Troden stood up, the laughter becoming audible as he looked at Remus, most of his face in shadows as he did so. The sound became louder until it was all around them, stopping only when he folded his arms, and even then the echoes could be clearly heard, "You think that threat will get to me? I, who had a Lycan god as a mentor? Fool! Why do you think my fangs are more beastly than anyone else's? Why do you think Lotan didn't kill me when he had the chance? I have just enough lycan blood in me to still be considered vampire. And you little bite won't do anything to change that!"

Surpriseingly, Remus began to laugh. He laughed in much the same way Trodan just had. "You seem to be under the impression that I actually care. Try anything and I'll tear out your throat. I just finished killing off one of my oldest friends. I'm beginning to enter a bloodlust and I may just enjoy a taste of you."

Troden grinned, liking the lycan more by the minute, "Well...I see we are at an understanding. Let's finish this. Lina's pet against Lotan's student..quite an interesting combination don't you think?" he looked beyond Remus as grinned even more once he saw Lina's still body on the ground. A pool of blood was beginning to form around her.

Remus let out a roar and lept at Trodan, claws reaching out, fangs bared. He had gone too far. He had threatened him on multiple occasions, and now he had hurt Lina. Remus had only one thought in his mind. Make him pay...

Troden crouched low, not even bothering to use his weapons against him. No, this was going to be a fight only of tooth and claw. Just how he liked it. He growled deeply before leaping towards Remus. They were at that moment fighting just like the vampires and lycans of old had. With only anger to fuel them.
